Overpriced miserable place with a stunning view

View from the room was beautiful Bathroom was beautiful Bed was comfortable Breakfast buffet was good

Staff were unfriendly especially at reception never cracked one smile Carpets are shabby and corridors dimly lit Room was very small with hardly enough room to open two suitcases When asked to order a taxi to take us to our train we were told “I’ll do my best but it.may not be possible The restaurant was very poor with cold barely cooked food

Pleasant

superb villa the breakfast and dinner staff very good unlike the cold and not hospitable reception staff. Please remove the photo of the swimming pool which is misleading because there is no swimming pool. room too small!

Outstanding. We have stayed in some amazing hotels, but this is one we will never forget.

The hotel and the staff are fabulous! What a view! Every room appears to be on the lake side of the hotel, and has a balcony with a small table and folding chairs. Rooms on the smaller side, but impeccably clean with quality linen. Cleaned daily. Easy walking distance into Como (through the park of Villa Olmo) or Cernobbio in the other direction. Bar menu limited, buffet breakfast was lovely, but eating breakfast or lunch on the terrace was always a memorable experience. Food is excellent but the staff and service were always outstanding.

Very beautiful hotel and bad dinner restaurant

Very beautiful hotel and nicely decorated rooms, everything looks new. The lake view in the room is great! Big balcony. Breakfast is good, many choices and sit by the lake to have breakfast. Villa Olmo is near by, only around 10-15 mins by walk, it's really worth a visit!

The food in the restaurant is bad and expensive, I was charged 30 euro for very dry fried fish and very salty fried vegetables. The waiter is not patient and not willing to explain menu to me. Don't recommend to eat here unless you only after good atmosphere.

A stunning location, phenomenal staff, a great place to unwind.

the hotel is right on the lake and a 15 / 20 minute walk to town. My room was facing the lake with a balcony, you can’t ask for more.

the view is all they have to offer

the view. the room was also nice. breakfast was great. the people at breakfast were very friendly and helpful. so different from the desk people.

very small tv and no channels we can use. only news channel in English. the hotel is too pricey for what offers for leisure. it’s worth for the view but we stayed in another place more friendly, nicer and much cheaper 😡

the bar terrace

basically on an airstrip which there was no mention of at our booking. I would have cancelled this booking if I could go elsewhere. shockingly loud abd every 3 min a plane woukd arrive.

luxurious!

the accommodations and the staff were exceptional. the quality of the facility is picture perfect!

I would have liked this hotel to be a little closer (walking distance} restaurants and cafe’s, but other than that it was perfect!

excellent start to finish

the hotel, the location and the service was excellent. the view is unreal and the hotels waterside location means you wake up to the most incredible view of the lake and mountains. service was generally excellent but special mention to Mattia the concierge who is easily the best we’ve had anywhere. his service is exemplary and ensured we were very well taken care of. he is the difference maker who has ensured we will return. we get married on the lake later this year and have recommended villa Flori to our guests. thanks to mattia and the team for taking such good care of us.

We can highly recommend this hotel!

The view from the Hotel over the lake is extraordinary; there is a boat stop next to the hotel to reach the city of Como in 10 minutes. The personnel is very nice and helpful. We greatly enjoyed the diverse breakfast buffet.

Lovely 2 nights stay, would recommend.

Location, room with balcony view was stunning. Room was clean and comfortable. The concierge called Mateo was exceptional!

Waterside hotel exuding old school charm

- it felt like walking into a elegant era of years gone by - the common areas were all very well presented and exuded old school charm - breakfast had great options and the staff were incredibly attentive - short 15min walk into Como - waterside location with water views maximised throughout the hotel - stunning! - the lounge bar apertivo was incredible

- room was not as well kept as the common areas and carpet/paint could do with being updated

Will definitely stay again. Such an amazing view.

The view from the room is amazing. As well as the shower great, bed super comfy. The hotel is nicely styled and feels pretty luxurious. Nice breakfast and very pleasant staff during breakfast. Towels were lovely and every little details thought of. Overall, will definitely stay here again and felt like a very nice experience staying there.

Only downsides : The wifi was very poor, as well as the room being cold and the heating not working as it should.

Exceptional

Eveyrthing here is always so good. This is not our first time at Hotel Villa Flori. Polite and friendly staff, close to Como center/by walk, view of lake Como from the hotel is spectacular. bar of the hotel has good wine choices. I love their room service :) quick, always a sincere smile and helpful.

Overall is nice, perhaps room bit small but the lake view made it up and pleasant stay.
