Cheap and nasty

When we arrived the toilet leaked, tv didn’t work. We were eventually moved to another room an hour later that had all wet floors and stunk.

Rubbish hotel

Nothing

The woman behind the desk was unhelpful. I had a bad knee but she put us on the top floor, no lift and 4 flights of stairs, no remote for TV, no air-conditioning, there was a fan but it was useless. The hotel was crummy but you get what you pay for. We won't be staying there again.

It was fine.

very old and springy, could feel the individual springs. Could feel ever movement of my partner.

It does not appear to have been updated since the 90’s, could do with fresh paint and updated bathroom / beds

Never select a room without aircon in summer at Coffs Harbour. Booking.com is making money from shady room

Poor Cleaning, bad smell in room. not enough fans to have comfortable sleep at night. Poor ventilation. Window doesn’t open wide for air circulation

They did their best

Convenient location. Friendly staff Not bad for 1 night if you don't have kids.

How hot and cramped the rooms were. The room we stayed in became so hot it was becoming a health risk for our little one. Luckily the staff were able to find a fan we could borrow to keep them as cool as we could for the night.

Never again at Coffs I have stayed in Ibis before none have been as poor as Coffs

A convenient location to do what we wanted to do.

Definitely a budget option, but appropriate for the price. We did get aircon, but it would have been uncomfortable without it.

It would have been nice to know beforehand that there wasn't a life.

Didn’t stay

The booking app should have made proximity to the pub clear before booking. I only became aware of this after a non refundable booking was made. Had booked two rooms for quietness. Did not stay at the facility after we became aware of the likely noise impact and lack of aircon

Terrible

This motel was o ly suitable for backpackers. Room was very small, bathroom was discusting. Could not have aircon because we booked on line. What a joke. We have a large group of friends and business aquantences and we have made our feelings k.own to them. We stayed at the Ibis in Brisbane and it was great so to arrive at this terrible establishment was a big disappointment .

Receptionist had problems accessing correct booking information. Wasn't going to let family in. Very stressful!!

Cheap and clean, but I would pay more next time to stay somewhere better.

It was clean and inexpensive. The staff were friendly and helpful. Located in the middle of town.

The hotel is run down and I didn't like having to park around the back as there were a few shady people about that made it feel unsafe to go out there alone at night to get something from the car. The shower didn't have a separate area in the bathroom, so the water goes all over the floor, and the shower head wasn't good with only a few jets of water trickling out.

Went site seeing and enjoyed it. Will be going to Coffs Harbour again.

Like the place, the service and staff. The amentias the motel had for the price was great. We enjoyed our stay here.

The only thing I didn't like was one night when we came back to the motel we entered our card in the building to enter and it would not work. We had to wait for someone exiting the motel to let us in. We tried calling and place and had no answer.

needed somewhere to break our drive to Queensland and it served its purpose

The first night we stayed in a room with bunk beds which was difficult for me as I am 68 and had difficulty climbing I should have done more research on the way home we stayed again and I requested a twin room which was good The bathroom was very large and was excellent

The rooms are a bit small but was ok for our purpose

Desperate to save a few dollars?

Breakfast was included and ok.

The confirmation email was the first I heard of NO A/C. No lift! You are required to shut the bathroom door to prevent the fire/smoke alarm from being triggered and costing you money for a false call to the fire station. Luckily it was a Thursday so the Pub was quiet, although there were warnings. The price, although relatively cheap was over priced by approx. $20

Hygiene....coakroaches in the room....bathroom was smelly...water leaking from the sink....no bodywash....air conditioners were dirty....carpets were unclean...overall hygiene wise it was a bad experience

Good

The bedroom and bathroom were super clean and even thought they were small they were very well organised. Reception was open til 10pm which was great as we were travelling and didn’t arrive til late. Receptionist was pleasant. On-site parking was good.

There was no air conditioning in the middle of summer. It was a 30 degree night, and I did not get any sleep as i was uncomfortable the whole time. There was also no soap in the bathroom. This is the bare minimum standard for hotels and this was not provided. I was not happy with my stay.
