- On day we left we asked for a breakfast package to take at least something since we did not have time to have it in morning. We got sandwich with one slice of ham and cheese with no butter. They could have been a bit more generous and caring in this sense. I have stayed in many places where our breakfast package was much more elaborated. - breakfast just between 8 - 9:00. Wider range would be more convenient.

The staff is very friendly

Our stay in Casa Do Til was amazing! Room is very spacious, super comfy bed, great shower. Bus station only 2 min away, bus 103 going to Funchal. The breakfast was excellent, delicious homemade cakes, traditional bread, plenty of fruits and other tasty food. Filipe (the host) was very helpful and kind, drove us from the airport (late at evening) and to hiking points and gave many useful tips. Lovely ladies serving breakfast! Thank you so much for making our stay so enjoyable and unforgettable!

Room (studio) offers a plenty of space. Kitchen with all it was needed. Bathroom was very clean.

Breakfast was the same every day. For one or two nights it is OK but for a longer stay, definytely not.

Small room

It was an exceptional experience. The host was helpful and super flexible, we could ask about anything. The room was clean and cosy. The breakfast was great (with all the fresh fruits). We also were able to order dinner which was one of the best fish dishes I have ever had. If you are staying around Santana definitely choose this place.

Maybe 1-2 extra electricity outlets or an extension would be useful.

Great place for island trips, Accommodation is in the middle of a city. We had a studio, enjoyed our stay :-) Sufficient equipment for a longer stay. There was very good communication with the manager. Parking next to the property.

Central location of the house, staff is very friendly and fluent in French and English. Beds are traditional but comfortable. Warm water in the shower. Beautiful view from my room and sunny shared terrace overlooking the hills.

the acoustic insulation between the rooms isn't great

Clean rooms with a nice view, parking available and really nice breakfast. Area is good as a starting point for many hikes. The host was great and supportive!

The weather seems to be worse in the north of the island.

It was cold in our room most of the time. It would be nice if someone would check if we need something in our room (nobody took out the trash from our room on our 5 days of staying here).

Great place in the center of the town. The room was spacious and clean. The owner flexible and helpful. I am only sorry I couldn´t stay longer. I would definitely stay here again.
