Très jolie auberge idéalement située et très bien tenue avec un personnel des plus agréables. Idéalement située, au calme, au cœur de la nature avec une vue magnifique sur le massif du mont blanc. Nous y reviendrons dés que possible.

the Auberge is so atypical and charming, lost in quiet fields with a fabulous view on the Mont Blanc. The restaurant is delicious, cosy and the staff funny and friendly. Truly enjoyable moment.

the position and views from the terrace were spectacular.
property was stuck in the seventies and room was tired and in need of upgrading.
food was expensive and over rated , care being needed to make sure everything was fresh as my husband had food poisoning the second night after eating marinated fish. owner was advised on leaving so hope this would have made them aware but it was shrugged off !

Forty minutes from the centre of Geneva, auberge des chasseurs sits sedately on the edge of the Réserve Naturelle Nationale de la Haute Chaîne du Jura offering guests a stunning and undisturbed view of Mont-Blanc.
It feels less of a hotel and more like a large family home, rich in character and culture. You might feel it’s roomy terrace and sparkling pool are your own, although the restaurant provides a dining experience and a wine cellar (a real one ) that you may find hard to replicate in your own kitchen.
The inn, an farmhouse built in 1860 and tastefully restored in 1950, has been in the same family for three generations. The somewhat quirky interior was created - curated even - by a Swedish artist when it was remodelled. It’s an eclectic mix, with signed photographs by Henri Cartier-Bresson and Josef Koudelka and dozens of original paintings and sculptures scattered around the walls of the three-storey building.
The 15 rooms - all non-smoking and most air conditioned - feel a bit like home, too with rustic pine furniture and wifi. Dogs are welcomed. If you want a mini bar, a 50-inch smart TV, or a wet room, this may not the place for you.
Instead, imagine you are staying with friends and relax on the comfortable beds. Savour the silence, broken only by the occasional whinny of a horse or the cry of a disgruntled goose from the farm next door. Then prepare for an excellent traditional French meal on the terrace as the sun sets. In cooler moments there is the exceptionally cozy dining room.
Just prepare yourself for the challenge of choosing a bottle of wine from that extensive cellar!
The hunter’s inn makes a perfect base to explore the area and ideal to explore the delights of Geneva, just a short drive away.
it was all good.

The pool was not usable . All 3 days pool cleaning machine was in ..same place ..never moved .. better ask before booking if pool is ready for use

After deciding not to stay, the receptionist was kind enough to not charge me (as I was the only one in the auberge at the time).
When I arrived the auberge was essentially closed; I was met by a person who gave me the room key. No TV reception in the room; small bed; very rustic; no meal available in the near vicinity. I decided to leave and continue my drive to France. The receptionist was kind enough not to charge me.

Breakfast was extremely tasty and beautifully presented. That was a very big choice of Continental food – cold meats, different cheeses, yogurts, juices, cereals. And the breakfast room was beautiful and sunny with a view over the mountains!
The host was very friendly, and the room was clean and comfortable. Very peaceful and quiet.

Beautiful expansive outdoor terrace with a terrific view over horses towards the mountains. Fantastic restaurant for dinner, and a nice breakfast. Lots of nearby hiking and nature (explore the Source d'Allondon!). EV charger is a plus (ask the front desk for help). Cool eclectic artistic decor in the shared spaces
Small room with a small bed. Rustic room decor (especially in contrast to the almost outlandish decoration in the lobby)

One of my favorite hotels; a country inn overlooking fields and Mount Blanc in the distance.
Lovely terrace, nice pool, quiet, simple but well decorated rooms. Just a perfect spot!

Charming family owned hotel, in old chalet with much characteristic details. Nicely decorated with a lot of art and very vriendly staff.
Room was very clean, with breathtaking view of the Alps.
The room was small and outdated, and it was a challenge to take a shower.
