The hotel is greatly situated almost in the middle of the historical centre of beautiful town Písek. Breakfasts were OK, there was a very nice service. The staff was friendly, pleasant and very helpful when we needed.
Sometimes you can hear noise from the adjacent rooms. Parking in front of the hotel is paid. Paying via parking meter is quite complicated.

We had 2rooms apartment and there was a spacious bathroom as well with a huge bath :)

My Trivago search is set for an adult and an 8 year old child. For some reason the booking went through as 0 years old for my child. I did not spot it. On arrival the receptionist repeatedly suggested I had done it intentionally. The accusation me feel really uncomfortable. I was charged the difference which made the price go well above the other hotel options that I was looking at when booking. I used to like this hotel but would not return after this experience. It spoilt my whole stay.

Very central located, and however there is not parking on the hotel. Just for some CZ chron., you can park the car on the street in front of the hotel.
Small vegan offer in the Breakfast (not soja or almonds milk).

The towels in my room were not changed in the 3 days that i stayed there

Breakfast was very good. But the orange juice was not orange juice!
There was no free bottle of water in the room. Tea or coffee making facility with a biscuit would have been nice.
At 7am the very noisy cleaning lorry after a very long bell ringing session was a bit of a shock.

Location good
Wi-Fi didn't work properly, connection poor. The room was clinical and absolutely no atmosphere. Receptionist on arrival was very unfriendly.

I love the location and that the Hotel is old cinema with amazing history. Room was nice and bed comfortable (it was hard which is really rare in hotels).
Its not far from all the important locations. Its nice walk to the Stone Bridge.
Breakfast was good. I also like café in the hotel. it was open until 23:00 so its ideal for nighcap :-)
Parking is either on the street (with cost decided by city). Or in the parking garage for 2€ per hour which is really expensive for place like Písek.
