Chouette séjour !

Comfortable stay with a helpful host.

The location was perfect to make a quick visit of the city. The small private kitchen was very useful. Mr.Pankaj is an experienced host who knows how to put the guests at ease and was also very helpful.

The price was slightly more than the worth.

This homestay has one of the most helpful owners I have ever met, Mr Pankaj. He showed me the neighborhood, helped me get a sim card, and helped me to make plans about my stay. Chai was always offered each day. :D When it comes to the room, it was super clean, had great AC, great wifi, and a functional restroom. There are also very tasty restaurants nearby!

Central, safe location, five minutes walk from restaurants & cafes and run by a superb host.

This is a gem of a place, located within a gated residential development; five minutes walk away from a multitude of restaurants and cafes & in a convenient location for travel into central Delhi.My daughter and I felt very safe walking in the neighbourhood, the best part of the stay was our host Pankaj who was a fountain of knowledge on all the tourist matters and was super helpful even driving us to the local market and showing us around on our first day. We stayed on the top floor and had the added benefit of a terrace, the room and the toilet was well maintained & clean; we will definitely stay here, when we visit Delhi.

The shower head water flow rate was slow, but this wasn't a big issue as everything else with the property was perfect.

The best host in the most comfortable home in an amazing city!

I never leave reviews and I just had to for this place. We felt welcome and at home from the minute we knocked on the front door. Pankaj is the heart and soul of this home stay. He is the ultimate host!

Literally Prefect!

There are two concerns in India, Safety, and Hygiene, absolutely no concern here! I don't know even where to start: - Mr. Pankaj is absolutely amazing, he is super helpful, he guided me through everything, what to avoid at the airport! at the area! where to visit? how, when, and where! - He showed me how to use Metro! gave a metro card! traveled to a different city with his card - He himself came out with me to take taxi for me when needed! - He dropped me at Metro station using his own car! - He always offers Chai (Tea) and he always provides you what you need. they always find a way! - The staff are super polite! like wow! super amazing! everyone is amazing here! so lovely! - He waited for me to be absolutely sure how long I need to stay (since I wasn't sure and I had a flexi ticket), then I paid later..... seriously, where it happens? what else can be done? where do you get all these? he is the best part of this (kindness, hospitality, helpful!...etc) - The place is super safe! I always felt I am at home! I never felt that safe in my travel! let alone in India! - The hygiene issue is not much of a concern here! while its a huge issue in the country! - The room has adapters/socket for non-indian plugs! no need to run around to charge your laptop/mobile. You will not be as comfortable and relax in a 5 star hotel! and I never write feedback in that level of detail! first time in my life! for a reason!

Go find it! literally PERFECT! I do %100 recommend it! I booked it for 6/7 nights and ended up staying/extending it for additional two nights!

I highli recommend to choose this place to stay in Dheli

The main feature of this place is its owner. Pankaj does everything to make your stay in India smooth and magnificent. He spent a lot of personal time to show me around and tell me what and how to visit in Delhi. He helped with almost everything. As for the accommodation itself, there was a huge wide bed in my room. Everything was clean. The water was also hot. In addition, Pankaj allowed me to leave my suitcase both before check-in and after check-out. And even offered to check-in earlier than the designated time and leave later in case of such a need. For those who are cold in winter, it was possible to use a convector. Nearby there are restaurants where you can eat, as well as small markets where locals eat.

The most important benefit of our stay in Tatvamasi Homestay was all the help we got from Mr Pankaj. He advised us on how to organize our trip,on the sights to see, and most importantly on the restaurants, street food, breakfast options etc. He even came with us to show us the nearby area, and at another time we took us to a good place for breakfast with his car. He was always very eager to help. Without his help, we would not have enjoyed as much our trip in Delhi.

Best place I've stayed in Delhi- clean, comfortable, safe and host was extremely nice and friendly! The room even had a heater, TV, mini-fridge, filtered water bottles, and tea kettle/tea bags. I will definitely stay here again.

Awesome host

Pankaj was an amazing host, friendly, welcoming, helpful before and during our stay. Gave us local tours and really settled us into day 1 and 2 in India.

Pankaj is lovely, he tries to help as much as possible and give you the best tips. Everything perfectly clean. Very comfortable bed and he turned on the heating for me. Toilet paper is there without asking. If you want to be relaxed without stress and worry you should book with him.

Amazing homestay

The homestay is located in a quiet area of Delhi, so we slept great The host was unbelievably helpful and kind, going as far as driving us to Chittaranjan Park street food market and helping un get a SIM card The room itself was very clean, and the bed was one of the most comfortable we've ever slept in! Us being smokers, we also really appreciated the terrace right next to our room. All in all a wonderful stay, we recommend it to everyone!

We have not felt so welcomed and beeing taken care of in any acommodation so far.

We spent two nights at tatvamasi homestay in January 2023. Since temperatures reached like 5°C in the night and houses in India are Not isolated so well, we were happy to find an electrical heater in our room, which is not self-evfident as far as we know. The room as well as the bathroom where very clean. However, the best thing about this homestay is the owner. He was available at all Times and and was so committed making our stay as good as possible. He had a lot of recommendations for us, personally showed us the way to some restaurants, arranged an air Port Pick up and called us after arriving at the airport to ask if everything is ok with our pick up. He even drove us 10 min with his Private car to the metro station after check out, since our Uber got cancelled twice. We have not felt so welcomed and beeing taken care of in any acommodation so far. Totally recommend it.

excellent calm & friendly homestay

The host was very friendly and helpful. He showed us where we coule eat, fixed our sim card issues, etc; rooms are very clean and calm.

Although 15min walking distance from the metro station, be aware that the homestay is located in south delhi and that it is not close to main sights. This is obly minor compared to the friendliness and calmness of the homestay.

The best place to stay in Delhi

You will not find a better place in all Delhi! The area around is calm and safe, in the near are plenty restaurants, bars, ATMs and shops. Room is big, nice and clean. But the most important is the hospitality- owner Pankaj is the best host in the world! He is so helpful and kind. He showed us everything around and recommend places to go. We spent together amazing time we will never forget. Thank you for everything and we hope to see you again.

Fantastic host, he made our stay so comfortable and easy, including walking us to nearby restaurants and food markets and helping set up our SIM cards. Rooms are large and clean and the wifi works great! Free filter water, coffee and delicious chai are provided. The area feels safe and easy to navigate and is close to the metro. Highly recommend, especially if you have just arrived in India!

Believe the hype - it's a fantastic stay!

This is a lovely homestay with perhaps the most helpful host in the entirety of India! The building has lots of charm, the rooms are clean, and you can get help with anything you need (including your laundry for those who have been on an extended trip). The surrounding area is full of great restaurants as well so you can sample the delights of Indian food - I recommend Carnatic Cafe and Himalayan Kitchen in the GK2 market and Juggernaut in the neighbouring GK1 market.

There isn't really much that could be improved upon. The location is not that close to some of the major Delhi sites like the India gate and the Red Fort, but with an auto costing about 200 rupees to these locations it really doesn't matter!

Can’t recommend Tatvamasi more!

everything. the place is extremely clean, the staff is polite and very helpful, the area is nice and feels very safe and the room was spacious and well equipped. Highlight is Pankaj, the owner, who clearly loves hosting people, and treats you like a friend from the moment you arrive. He went out of his way to help me every time I needed it, be it with directions or other more complex things like getting a SIM card or extending my stay. I could go on about how good the Homestay is but it’s better if you experience it yourself!

Fantastic first experience of India. our host Pankaj is like family he goes above and beyond, he helped us with airport transfer, money changing, international sim card , showed us the local restaurants, market and metro which is a 10 min walk. As we had no local currency he even loaned us some the first night to get dinner. He is extremely knowledgeable and can give you so much information a delightful host and conversationalist. His staff (Mr Singh especially) are so helpful and are always happy to supply their fantastic tea. We also used the laundry service and our clothes returned clean and smelling lovely. The bed is super king size and very comfortable . The fridge is large and stocked with water, there are teas coffee and tasty biscuits. The bathroom is spacious with plenty of hot water, soap, shampoo and clean towels. There is a hairdryer, microwave and iron for guest use.we were top floor and there is a little balcony area to use. The surrounding area was very safe with lots of very nice restaurants. We will definitely stay with Pankaj when we return to Delhi for our flight home.

I was very happy that this was my first place in India, the owner was super helpful in arranging me stuff and was generally an outstanding host! The area is great with lots of good food and cafes in walking distance, still the house itself is located on a more silent sidestreet, so it's perfect. Internet / Wifi was very fast! thanks for everything!

At first I thought it's a bit noisy, but it's actually quiet compared to other places in India haha

Good value for money in a nice part of Delhi.

I liked the area ( near many restaurants). I thought the owner tried hard to suggest things to do. He even took me to a few places so I wouldn't get lost

Maybe more pressure in the shower.
