Spaceful opulence, with a helpful and non-intrusive staff.

Excellent value stay. Room was expansive and had space to unwind. A sofa, a coffee table, writing desk, spacious bathroom, lots of art on the wall - it felt like a Frank Lloyd architected space. After a month on the Camino and dormitory living this felt like heaven. All for 55 euro for the night - double rooms in Albergues can be more expensive than that! Will stay again next time i find myself in Santander

Consigliatissimo!

L’accoglienza è stata impeccabile, la ragazza molto preparata e gentile ci ha consigliato come muoverci in città e ci ha anche dato il suo ombrello. Il parcheggio al coperto al lato dell’hotel, la camera grande e bella con vista sul mare. A 5 minuti a piedi dal centro, zona tranquilla. Colazione buona e varia.

Cumplidor calidad precio

Habitación amplia y bien equipada. Esta bien ubicado de cara a la zona del centro Botín y la zona de bares. Algo lejos de playas. El personal, en especial la chica, muy amable

Mucho calor en la habitación y el aire frío no funcionaba, salía caliente. Tuvimos que dormir con la ventana entre abierta. Desayuno normal. Decoración…

Ubicación muy buena

El personal de recepción es súper agradable, eficiente y atento. Nos encantó la historia del gatito que tienen acogido en recepción, súper animalfriendly! La suite es una pasada, cama súper cómoda y grande y vistas del puerto de Santander espectaculares.

Aunque había bastante variedad, la calidad del desayuno es un poco limitada en cuanto a producto. Contando además que bajamos a las 9 y media y casi no quedaban opciones y la persona encargada del buffet no se interesó en si nos faltaba algo, cuando es lo más normal quedando una hora de desayuno por delante.

Muy recomendable

Muy buena ubicación, a 7 minutos del centro. Habitación muy limpia y el baño también. Además, el baño era muy amplio. El personal muy amable. Repetiremos :)

El trato de l@s recepcionistas, el aparcamiento gratis y la ubicación. El desayuno buffet, muy buen precio- calidad.

Vistas espectaculares

Las vistas desde la ventana. Despertarse y ver el mar desde la cama... no tiene precio. La habitación con todo lo necesario y el desayuno variado.

Frente a nuestra habitación había una sala que suponemos contenía la maquinaria del aire acondicionado. El ruido, molesto, se oía desde nuestra habitación y no paró hasta las 4 de la madrugada. Respecto al desayuno, echamos en falta un sustituto de la leche de vaca para las personas intolerantes o alérgicas.

The Hotel has been neglected and requires a lot of maintenance…….coffee machine broken….lights flickering, balcony door handle falling off…rooms need refurbishing…..not fair on the front line staff…..where are the owners ?

We have stayed at the art 3 times including this one .previously we were impressed with the decor and rooms.this time standards seem to have slipped a little. Our spec said we had a fridge which wasn't there. And the shower door was missing which meant the floor of the bathroom got wet. When we asked for a fridge as we had bought drinks and food for the ferry it didn't work and we were left with warm Bailies etc! The room was clean and the decor still nice. It's worth saying that unless you book a sea view and there are only about 9 the other rooms are interior pretty much like an inside cabin on a cruise ship with window you can't see out of. .parking good in an underground secure car park.

No fridge even though in spec. Door missing on shower . Given a fridge which didn't work Standards slipping

Great Hotel

Hotel was great, clean staff were friendly, room was fab 304 on the third floor with a large terrace and sea view. will defo go again with Wife. Underground secure parking at extra cost via car lift, fantastic

Have to be mobile , as Santander is hilly and Hotel was up hill. Apart from that all good

great location, close to everything, room was big and comfortable, big bathroom too and a great price. the people at reception was awesome as well and were very helpful

the beds got very hot, maybe it was the material that they were made of, not a big deal though, everything else was great

Definitely stay again.

Funky hotel, very modern. Staff wee exceptionally helpful. Stayed for 2 nights and the basic room (which I booked) was smaller than expected. I tecueved an upgrade for free on the 2nd night. Thankyou. Free parking was also great.

The AC wasn't the best/coolest, but you could open the windows.

Short stay

We stayed 3 nights and had a rental car. Staff were very professional and helpful; they went above and beyond to make sure our stay was enjoyable: booked a parking space, brought extra pillows. Very comfortable bed. Convenient location near the centre.

The only thing was the air conditioning as it is a bit noisy.

We enjoyed our stay here. The staff were very nice and helpful.

The room was comfortable with good bathroom facilities and a coffee maker. Large balcony with views over the top of buildings to the sea. There was a good choice of breakfast items and the breakfast room was tastefully decorated with old style traditional chairs and tables mixed with modern.

Parts of the hotel walls looked unfinished but maybe this was meant to be artistic.

A fun, quirky hoteljust a five minute walk from the town centre.

This hotel is bonkers. Art works and decor are just brilliant. The breakfast is fantastic. All you can eat, good fresh produce.

It's a steep climb back from town to the hotel. I bet some of the rooms have fantastic views over the town and the bay. We were at the back, so ours difinitely didn't.

Great stay

We had a wonderful experience at Hotel Art. The stuff was super nice and helpful, answering to all of our requests regarding a room with a bigger window, very prompt with the parking spot, attentive at breakfast. Room was nice and cozy, location was perfect close to everyting that we wanted or needed, breakfast was super good 👌

Some of the rooms (f.e. room number 108)don't have window to outside. Those who have claustrophobia are very bad.

Great for overnight stay!

Lovely quirky Hotel with its 'Art' Only had breakfast which was ample and plenty. Great decor throughout the rooms and whole building. Parking was a plus for us, garage was different but staff helped you to enter the lift. Reception girls very friendly and helpful. For us spoke good english!

This was just an overnight stay ready for ferry next morning. Seemed to be difficult to get to by car, no parking nearby so garage helpful. No idea what area is like. Quite uphill on outskirts of town, did see elevator lifts for public use.
