Exceptional

Arrived late but were welcomed with a smile and the receptionist was able to book us in to the restaurant for a late dinner. The maître d'hôtel made sure we had a good table and all the waiting staff were very helpful. The food at dinner and breakfast was excellent. The decor is amazing. The bed was so comfortable I had the best night's sleep I've had in over a year! Would love to stay again.

nice hotel some basics need attention especially given room rates

super nice property clean and modern

shower pressure very poor (2nd time) gym equipment very basic housekeeping did not clean my used coffee cup (2nd time)

As The Terminator would say 'I'll be back'. Great room, great pool and saunas, vegetarian meals ok

I needed to charge my Norwegian electric car, a Volvo. I chose the Van der Valk with this as a key criteria. I could find no way to use the non-Tesla charging points, as I did not have a tag from the supplier, so I had the indignity of visiting the McDonalds site nearby. A charging point activated by a contactless charge card (and one that is not issued by a Dutch bank, a problem had more than once in the Netherlands) would be much appreciated.

Definitely worth the four stars!!

It has beautiful interior pieces, esp the bar and restaurant. The breakfast is very good with countless options

Would come back again

Sauna, swimming pool and fitness was amazing. Bar and restaurant staff was very welcoming and friendly. Room was extremely clean and comfortable, no noise, we slept amazing. Restaurant food was next level!

Reception staff was unwelcoming. They barely made any eye contact both with check in and check out, barely spoke, rushed through the whole process. It was like having two robots. They really do not match face of the hotel and should learn a thing or two from bar and restaurant staff members!

A welcoming hotel that deserves its 4 stars. The chosen room with bathtub and shower, very clean with everything you need (body hygiene products). Separate towels for the pool, clean, white.

What was not to my taste, the breakfast that should be more diverse. But that doesn't stop me from coming back. I declare myself completely satisfied 😊!

We will not come back. sadly but the dinner was so horrible that we wouldn’t want to risk spending money there

the rooms were really nice, roomy and comfy.

The service was really not great. Especially at the restaurant. worse experience ever! we had to shout to get someone to pay attention, our order was always wrong and nobody paid attention. really disappointed .

Very pleasant nice hotel.

Great hotel booked for one night and decided to come back next day ! Staff in restaurant and front desk were very nice.

The second night on checking in they accused me of smoking in my room the night before !! And said would put on my record. Well i do not smoke and would not let anyone smoke in my room. Made me feel very uncomfortable for a mistake by the hotel. After a lot of protest and "Please smell my clothes" to prove my innocents they took the comment off my account. Management need to look how this was handled.

Nice facilities but jacuzzi too small. No water to drink at the pool. water fountain in sports tom but no glasses or plastic cups. Bar was un-attended. The rest was OK.
