The whole structure is very good, we loved the welcoming atmosphere. The rooms were spacious and clean.
Nothing, only that we couldn’t stay a day longer

The road to the hotel was ok not as bad as how the other reviewers claimed . So don’t worry unless you have a very low sports expensive car ! Location is great between the cities and if you wanna relax and enjoy .
The bedding and the bathrooms could have been better quality. Overall is acceptable

Been to over 60 countries, been everywhere in Italy but this experience was new to me. We booked a room which was literally stated it had a bath with a view. When arrived after a long day of travelling we got a (smelly, not so clean) room, no bath and certainly no bad with a view.
Next morning tried to resolve the issue with the staff. Staff blamed booking.com as in their opinion it was translation error. They did not step up and take responsibility. Just using nonsense excuses on language and repeating their position (sometimes in a rude way) So we left. I kindly asked the hotel to reimburse the remaining two nights as we paid for three nights. The hotel refused to compensate us for the remaining two nights, ridiculous.
So we paid €711 for one night (1 of 3) in a (smelly) room that did not match the description (no bath with a view)
Hotel gets paid, we get to pay a high price for poor performance (or deceit if you like) and additional costs for another hotel.
PS: Perhaps also a “translation error” the hotel is not 20 KM’s from Florence, it’s 50. (Google Maps)

Beautifull property with wonderful stuff who were always friendly and extremely helpful. Excellent breakfast and great dinner menu (especially for non vegetarians).
My wife is vegetarian and found herself with limited options on the dinner menu. The mosquitos, even at the end of October, was a problem.

Excellent hotel, excellent staff, excellent food. I work in Barberino once per month and this will be my new regular hotel. Thank you to all the team who made my 2 day stay fantastic. I will also return for personal holiday and recommend to my friends.
The property is on a Tuscan hillside, and if you are in the bottom of the hill suites it is a bit of a walk to the restaurant and bar if you are unfit. But you do have your own private pool for a few suites and if you ring reception they will collect you in a golf cart.

Excellent place, staff, great food in the restaurant (highly recommended).
Few bugs here and there, which can be due to the location or season of the year.

Perfect location. Beautiful room. Good restaurant. Friendly and helpfull personal.
It is not easy to get at this location. There is an unpaved road only wide enough for 1 car, going up the hill towards the hotel.
If there are oncoming cars, things get complicated. We were leaving with our minivan while a bulldozer and several cars were climbing up the hill towards the hotel. We had to drive the van backwards up the hill. No fun!

Beautiful property up a narrow winding road(was always glad that I did not meet another car).
Lovely room but a little small.
Food delicious for dinner and breakfast.
Nice pool area
Staff very friendly
Mosquitoes - staff sprayed the room for us daily but I think a plug in burner is needed
Water for tea was look warm. Was always replaced.

Room was completely renovated / brand new, all the amenities you could need, well-planned layout, etc. The attention to detail was high, and the staff were very welcoming upon check-in, dinner, breakfast, etc.
The fixed menu dinner was good, though quite slow (we were tired after a long day and not looking for a drawn out 1 hour and 45 min experience). The same thing happened at breakfast though this time for a different reason - they forgot our food and other tables that had arrived after us got their food and left before we ever got our eggs and toast so breakfast became another hour experience.

these people were absolutely wonderful with my son who has a learning disability and severe non verbal autism. Honestly they were just the best.

Breakfast employees were great and talkative. Room looks kept clean at first(and last...)
-You have to check in on the main building a then they escort you to other building
-Room was freshly painted, but the smell gave humidity away(probably mouldy)
-The trees and sourounding nature is not as beautiful as I expected (doesn't feel Tuscany at all) - window view was just terrible
-The is not a single piece of paper with any information(menus, spa info-I don't know if there is any, hotel info-when is breakfast, when do you need to check out etc.)
-You are in the middle of wood and can't eat anything between breakfast and dinner. We had to god to nearby town to buy groceries
-Empty minibar except 2 warm waters
-Minibar turns off with all other electricity - we had to trow groceries I mentioned before.
-They didn't listen to DO NOT DISTURB sign an cleaned our room(but didn't add coffee that was missing
-Mouldy baby crib - this was OMG!!! Black mould on something to put baby in. Baby slept with us two days...
-One shower head missing(SMALL PROBLEM)
-Several spiders and webs in the bathroom (ALSO SMALL PROBLEM)
-They tried to add two spritzers to our bill, but they accepted when I said we didn't have those - 16€ almost(BIG PROBLEM, but could be a mistake)
-Expensive for what you get(BIGGEST PROBLEM)

Really beautiful location, best place to be ❤️

The place is really nice, pool is also good and staff is really friendly and accommodating. The second room (suite) i slept in was really comfortable. The food is really good.
I spent two nights there on separate days in august and the first room I slept in, the one next to the bar is quite uncomfortable as the shower had water leaks and it was wrongly built as the water dripped outside and you had to dry all the toilet after having a shower (gave face2face feedback to Vincenzo from the staff about it the same day and he confirmed) and the air conditioning points the bed so I had to switch it off as it is quite annoying to sleep with the air pointing at you.

The rooms are big and new and clean. Liked the fact that both sections has own pool area
Didn't lie Tha fact that you had walk down steep hills and then up them again to get from room to restaurant and check in. The direct root if our room at night was virtually impossible to take as it was dark and full of gravel and dirt. Dangerous I would say

amazing, feels like a little bit of heaven
nothing
