The apartment is really close to the beach. It is a very good price considering the location. Also, the apartment was very clean and comfortable for our family.

I would suggest the staff to leave some hygiene stuff available, such as soap on the bathroom.We did not take hand soap and had to buy it on the first day.

We were return visitors. Ive lost count of the times we've stayed here, but we will never return again. The only positive is the location is 10 minutes walk from main promenade. The kings apartments is run down now and poorly maintained. Buildings are being built around it so prepare for construction noise.

Cockroaches inside property werent dealt with until one landed in the babies cot, my granddaughter then slept in the double bed with her mum for fear of it happening again. . Prior to this we were advised put towels at the doors and dont open windows. Every morning fresh cockroach droppings were where all the cooking pots pans bowls etc were kept so we spent a fortune eating out for every meal and supermarket food and butcher meat was thrown in the bin unused. I was made to feel like it was my fault they were coming in from the drains The beds were uncomfortable and squeaked at every move, ive never experienced them so bad. No bedding change in a full week and only one towel change, despite the fact we'd been advised to put towels down at the doors. I ended up buying washing powder and freshening sheets and towels myself. The poolside is crawling with ants, to be fair theres always been a lot of ants at the pool but this year they seemed excessive, crawling up the loungers while you were lying on them and crawling around you while you sat on the tiles at the side of the pool. We never took food or drink to the poolside as they would have been all over it. The pool tiles seemed in poor order with a lot of broken and missing tiles and the pool didnt seem to be kept as clean as it used to be. All smoke alarms had been removed and put in drawers prior to our arrival. The cleaners gave less of a wipe round the apartment once than i had to do daily. When the young girl looked in the kitchen and it was tidy she didnt bother going any further despite me having told reception that there were fresh cockroach droppings every morning under the sink. Our whole holiday was ruined by the lack of interest at the reception. 3 times i asked for a ramp to take the mobility scooter onto the balcony to recharge. Each time i was told not possible. On the 4th day i asked the owner and on the 5th day maintenance made one, the maintenance man could not have been more helpful.

Very friendly and welcoming reception, thank you! Nice sized studio apartment I was N13 , even I asked for upper (2nd) floor but got the first floor, still it was OK. It has spacious bathroom, all the needed basic kitchen appliances although why not to leave some dishwashing liquid and basic salt/pepper stuff out of the previous clients..? Everyone has to buy their own stuff and then leave it almost full... The aircon never worked I didn't have remote for it I would like to put it on for the sleeping it was a bit hot in the evenings due to no air circulation.. so I kept apartments door open for an hour - two just to let air in.. There's nice looking pool I never used bcs I swim in ocean but it looked lovely, and plenty sunbeds. Used one for 30 min and got bored😂 Good shower (power and temperature) even shower and bath tub a bit dated like everything else. Bed was very basic but mattress firm enogh, I do not like soft, so it did suit me very well but pillows weren't comfy, sorry😬 Nice balcony, mine was facing the pool and never got sun apart from 10 min after sunrise😂😂 but isn't a problem, do not need more sun after i am back from day on the beach but would be nice to get some sunshine for the morning coffee on the balcony ☕☀️ Anyway. Location is okay, its 5-7 maybe 10 min walk for the Quarteira beach, straight through, there are very light uphill/downhill so getting back to the Apartments is easy. There are plenty of books left by tourists on reception you can borrow. Bus station is few min walk from the hotel, seen it passing by, although never used any bus Plenty of shops, food places, cafes, etc, and this is Quarteira which I find out a bit boring for the solo traveller. So for the night life I was heading up to Vilamoura Marina 👌otherwise good stay, the apartments King's are worth every penny especially when you are in budget or if you coming for the sleep only and don't care the stars and posh accommodation .

Apartamentos getting to be little bit dated, but it's still acceptable for the price paid. Power socket is 2 metres away from the closest bed (there were two single beds) , luckily I always travel with my 3 m cable 😂. And the power socket is the only and the one 😖for two single beds. Yes there were an other power socket in kitchen area and bathroom ofcourse but not by the beds. Shower head holder either broken or wrong models to each other, so wasnt easy to
