Für das Geld habe ich in einem Hostel mehr Komfort

Die Matratzen sind wirklich unterirdisch, ich habe noch nie so unbequem geschlafen. Es ist wirklich jede Feder zu spüren. Die Handtücher hatten handflächengroße Löcher und das Internet ist eigentlich so gut wie gar nicht vorhanden. Mir wurde leider auch nichts so richtig gezeigt, wodurch vielleicht klar gewesen wäre, dass die Küchen nur für bestimmte Zimmer zur Verfügung stehen oder wo man abends reinkommt, wenn der Haupteingang geschlossen ist.

Comfortable for a short stay.

Cheap hotel for a couple of nights. The staff was friendly and beds comfortable. We loved that there was a fridge in the room.

Internet was really slow in the room. We did not have hot water most of the time. The room was also really hot and the fan did not help much.

Good location

AC room was very nice. Location close to the beaches. Staff were very nice

We initially booked a room with a fan but it was still too hot and upgraded to AC. The toilet didn’t flush in the first room with the fan. When we changed to the AC room the toilet was fine. There were a few bugs in the room. Construction noise outside. Wifi didn’t work. Pool looks smaller than in the pictures.

Terrible service at this hotel I would not recommend this place.

The front desk lady would not honor the price published on booking.com. Instead she increased the price and asked us to pay her price and not the reservation price. She first stated that the reserved room is actually her price given. She then lied by saying the room we chose was sold out but had many other rooms. She never called to amend the reservation or even answer the several calls we had made to the hotel prior to our arrival telling us that we called the wrong number. When I tested the phone number her phone was ringing at the desk. The lady was extremely unaccommodating, apathetic, and a liar as we had no place to stay at 8pm when we arrived. We had to find another place to sleep. This hotel should not be listed on this site if they are going to just change the prices at check-in. Also the hotel does not accept credit card.

Very good

The place is nice. It is between Playa Zicatela en the centre if the city, so the ideal place to explore the city. Room service is available every day - really nice. There is also a ship there directly in the hotel to buy some things. And the Mexican people are really, really nice. Worth a visit!! ❤️

very clean

Booked a room ahead of schedule. I arrived at 9 pm. No office marked or open. finally got someone to open up. I had to negotiate the price- she tried to overcharge me and I still didn’t get the online price. WeirdFrench Canadian woman tried to kicked me out of the public rooftop area, saying it was her own private space. She had put up signs all over saying “Private”. Unpleasant!

Very good, stopped twice, passing through Purto Escondido.

Staff, firm beds, location 4th floor balcony/ lounge.

Ants, some minor indications of not keeping up with maintenance.

Super friendly staff

Two big comfortable beds. Room was cleaned daily. The owners and the cleaners were really friendly. There's a pool and lovely seating areas.

The WiFi is pretty bad. The kitchen doesn't have many utensils and wasn't the cleanest. The shower wasn't the best, poor water pressure.

Easy check in, lovely staff, comfortable bed and clean room. Close to beach and town center.

A little road noise as close to main road, but I'm a sensitive sleeper.

Noise party running an otherwise OK stay

Great location. Just a couple of blocks from the seaside and near to the one of the main shopping streets. There is an OXXO nearby and many places where to find food late at night. In terms of infrastructure, you get what you pay for: nothing luxurious but just OK. The beds are not super comfy but neither uncomfortable. There are some things that could be improved, like having a mat in the shower.

You can save your 100 pesos for accommodation at Hotel Yurimar and instead get a six pack of beers and sit next to a pub, unable to sleep because of the loud music resonating in your ears. After all, that is the same experience you would get if you decide to stay at Hotel Yurimar. Our stay would have been OK if it wouldn't have been for a loud party happening by the pool on the last day of our stay. It seemed to be a bunch of teenagers drinking and playing loud music in the central patio, which is faced by basically every single room in the hotel. We were not able to sleep at all, as the kids were not shy about being that loud even after 2 am. When some guests complained, the partying kids were pretty brave, saying that their grand mother was the owner of the hotel and hence, they were entitled to party at this level, in spite of the obvious and clear disturbance. They even mocked and threatened to physically fight some of the foreign guests asking them to quit the party and let us all rest. It is a shame that those kids damage the service and the reputation of the Hotel by being so immature and selfish. On the other hand, I believe that as guests paying for our stay, we are entitle to an undisturbed rest. It is the responsibility of the owners to provide the service they are charging for.

Good location - best value for money

the owner is super sweet and helps you with everything. I stayed for 3 nights and I had no problems at all. The room got cleaned everyday. They even had a little pool you can use. The beach is about 3min walking. Good value for money! I can recommend it

Perfect stay

Perfect place to stay in Puerto escondido central to everything, quiet comfortable room, 5 minutes and your on one of the many beaches in the area. The family who run it are lovely and very helpful even booking my early morning taxi to the airport for me.

High quality offer for the money i've paid

The place is great! The staying was good and the people were amazing. I was alone and i had a room with 2 beds and a private bathroom. Tv and fan were included. Everything was clean!

In the end of May the temperature is high and the rooms get really really hot. If you're not used to stay in places like this it's really hard to sleep without a/c.

This is not a luxury hotel - but the rooms are clean, the location is great and the owners are warm, lovely people!

As in most places I found in Puerto Escondido, the wifi was not as great as I would like it to be.

Cozy family hotel in perfect location

Warmhearted hosting family, who helped us anytime with every question. The location is perfect! Access within 2 minutes to two beaches (1.Zicatela with surf, hip bars, nightlife, Yoga. 2. Playa Principal). Also very close is the street that for us was the center (promenade along playa principal). We stayed in a room on the lowest floor and had no problems with noises at night, we recommend asking for a room downstairs. Also the pool area was right next to our room, and it was a cozy athmosphere during the day with a few people enjoying the day with country music :) Lavanderia right next to the hotel!! 50m to the road on which you can take transport / collectivos to all the beaches and also to Mazunte for a daytrip. The room was also clean & we slept very well.

Water pressure could be higher, for hot water shower in the morning. Shared kitchen did have very few tools.

good option for good price 1-2 days

the staff were very helpful , location is good in terms of the beach and city, but it’s 30min to punta by walk or 5 min by colectivo.

it really needs to be painted. The shower curtains is necessary as well. the mattresses were really old and uncomfortable and pillows were the worst. Bedsheets and towels should be changed urgently . Earplugs are needed

Exceptional

The owners are a super cute elderly couple. It was a pleasure to stay there. Rooms were cleaned every day(fresh towel, sheets), the cleaning lady was extremly flexible with us (we were always in the room when she came but she always managed to clean our rooms when we went out). Beach is 5 mins (or less) walk away, huge supermarket 15 mins walk, market (with good food and lots of fresh produce) is 25 mins walk away. Pool is amazing too, however is a bit small, but with my parnter we always managed to go at times it was empty. Two super cheap laundries are right at the entrance of the hotel. Totally worth the money.

The rooms are furnished with quite old furnitures (however, tv and fridge were brand new). It did not really bother us during our 2 weeks stay.

Was a nice stay

- The old lady at the reception is super friendly and heartly - they have a small pool - they have a cute rooftop - they give u soap and a towel - u have your own room, with a tv and fridge - the bed is big

- on the floor was a lot of insects and it felt a little bit dirty - this place is quite far from the center - the streets (cars) are loud and directly next to the rooms

Owners were friendly, the room cleaned daily and the entire hotel area was nice and comfortable. We enjoyed our stay here and it was a good value for the money.

The kitchen didn´t have that much cooking equipment.
