Picturesque house, beautiful apartment

The house looks like a picturesque, it is on a perfect location, right at the south end of the city center, 50m away from "Mini Venice". The apartment looks inside exactly like on the photos, it is comfortable, well equipped and clean. I was worried first if the noises from the street would disturbing at night, but there were no noises. There are very good breakfast places nearby, therefore we didn't bother having breakfast in the apartment.

Was a great stay in the city center, quiet old but charming appartment - can highly recommend

Clear description and easy to get the keys

It is not not liking: it is more there is even a parking garage available for a few Euros - just check if the car fits into the gap. Mine did not but my issue :-)

No lo recomiendo, estaba sucio

Fui en agosto y aun sigo esperando a que me reembolsen los gastos de limpieza. Tuvimos que limpiar el alojamiento, es el sitio más sucio donde hemos estado.

Apartamento súper coqueto precioso y céntrico

Es muy coqueto , cómodo , céntrico , nada ruidoso . Aprovechado hasta el último centímetro. Calentito . Práctico.

Las escaleras ya que son de madera estrecha e una con una persona mayor .

The location was fantastic. Apartment was lovely able to spread out after staying in hotel rooms. Easy to get to places lots of cafes and restaurants right on our doorstep. Such a beautiful place to visit. 4 days we were there maybe a bit longer would have been good so we could have done the odd day trip out of the centre

It is really a not to like. But having to take your cases up to flights of stairs could be a issue foe some people.Other than that I could no say anything bad about the apartment.Did not meet Samantha but keep in contact by messaging

Old house with charm

The apartment is very centrally located, you can reach all bars and restaurants on foot. The house itself is very old so it was a nice experience to be able to see the inside. Despite the building being old, the apartment is nicely updated with new amenities and modern furniture and appliances. It was cool in the apartment, which was nice after walking around all day. The host was very helpful in providing us with a baby bed for our daughter and was available to answer any questions. The instructions on how to check in were very clear. A parking garage was available at extra cost. We would highly recommend it for a short stay, it has everything you might need. The host was very nice and made sure we had everything we needed.

The floors were quite noisy, so with a small baby might be a problem, the same in regards to the staircase, but this was more our issue and understanding that the house is old. There was no lightbulb in the dining room and it was quite dark in the evening, so this was a bit weird. The parking spot is about 7 minutes on foot and it is an underground garage which is very tight to fit in if you have a larger car.The toilet is in the bedroom, again this is due to the fact the house is old and not much can be done, but it was not the most comfortable.

Short stay in Colmar

Wonderful location - in the heart of the picturesque old town. Within walking distance of train station. Studio apartment is compact, but had everything we needed. Guests do need to be capable of carrying their luggage up one flight of narrow stairs. Not an issue for us, but need to be aware that is the case. Studio is full of character in a beautiful old building.

Eclectic apartment close to Colmar's best sights

The location was perfect, allowing us to walk everywhere in Colmar's old town neighborhood. The only downside was a lack of standard taxi cabs and/or Uber car share services. Dragging two 40-pound-plus suit cases from the train station wasn't easy, but we made it to the apartment. Our hostess managed to order a bicycle taxi for our return to the train station. That was quite an experience and actually rather fun.

Based on the Booking.com listing, a washing machine was included as an amenity. Sorry to say, there was no washing machine. Thank goodness for Fabreeze!

Dear Samantha, you made our vacation perfect!

Great location in the beautiful old part of town. The apartment is in an old frame house, but with modern equipment inside, the living room opens onto the not too noisy Grand Rue, and the bedroom is on the opposite side of the apartment, so it is completely quiet here at night. Great price. The hostess is friendly and caring, and we are sincerely grateful to her for giving us the opportunity to have a wonderful rest, walking around Colmar and visiting neighboring towns and villages. Ideal choice for couple.

Home away from home. Host Sammie was excellent & obliging . She went beyond 'the call of duty' for us a couple of times ~ greatly appreciated The location is magic. Key attractions close by! Maison Cliquot is in the old town but far enough so that you can have a restful night's sleep Bed very comfy Shower hot Bakery, restaurants, bistros literally seconds away Highly recommend

Wonderful experience.

Excellent location and nice atmosphere in beautiful part of town. Free bottle of excellent sparkling wine.

Parking included but far from location. Carports door locks automatically when closed, but there is no key to open it. Instructions need to be clear on this. Not really suitable for four adults as only toilet is inside one of the rooms. The other room is facing the street and it is noisy late at night and early morning.

great stay, highly recommend.

great location. place was as described inside. what a treat to staying in the middle of old town in a half timbered house.

it was a little dusty. The bathroom smelled faintly of sewage… not sure if thats just the reality of plumbing in a place that old. But overall it was clean and tidy and comfortable.

Stunning apartment in Colmar

Absolutely stunning location and beautiful beautiful apartment!! So perfect for a couple of nights and so historic.

There was reference to a portable aircon unit which I couldn’t find but the fan was also fine.

we had a good stay all in all

very centrally located and help with parking (at a low cost). very authentic old wooden home/building (fachhaus)

the bathroom toilet was in the bedroom and the sink separate. then the shower was with a sliding door near front door - I know the old places are tricky to upgrade - so it was okay. just a bit awkward.

LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION!! It's right in the old town and it's such a cute apartment and the price was great!! I fell in love with Colmar and this apartment. If and when I come back for an extended stay I'm for sure staying here. I seriously don't understand how this place isn't rated higher

Great location and very charming exterior/interior that reflects the regional culture/theme

The bathroom is located in a very inconvenient location for privacy, not very comfortable having to share the same toilet with girlfriend and my dad in the same bedroom, no toilet in a common space.

the wood floor was really uncomfortable, it was too noisy, with a baby difficult for sleeping if you want to go to the bathroom for instance

Wonderful place to stay in the heart of Colmar

We stayed at Little Cliquot, the appartment from the first floor. Everything was just perfect. The apartment is in an old Alsacian house just a few steps from La Petite Venise (1 minute walking). It is also very close to the train station (10 minutes walking). Everything was very clean and comfortable. Samantha gave us all the information about how to get to the house, she was very kind, and I really liked the way how she treat her guests. She even offered us a bottle of wine as a warm welcome. I really liked the accomodation in Colmar and if I will go once again in that wonderful city, for sure I will stay again at Maison Cliqout.

This is a great little apartment in a fantastic location. We usually had breakfast in and just opened the windows and it felt like we could be at a little cafe. Right in the center of everything. Supermarket was less than a 10 min walk. so many cafes nearby and the canal is just down the street

The location is awesome! The room/apartment is a pretty straight shot from the train station and directly in the old town (Little Venice). A beautiful old building; very charming!

Great location, spacious and airy, fantastic view from the windows.

One of the best places in town, as far as the location is concerned. Close to all the major attractions. Staying in an ancient half-timber house was itself an experience. The host was kind enough to extend the check-out hours.

Stairs! The apartment is on the second floor of an old building, with a narrow wooden spiral staircase. We had two heavy suitcases, and it was a nightmare lifting them to the apartment.
