Very good breakfast included,perfect position in front of the sea,very good food at Agrilia, very friendly and welcoming personnel.

The personnel. Everyone was absolutely great, helpful and nice. The rooms were always clean. The view is fantastic.

Excellent staff. Excellent breakfast. Excellent location. Room was good apart from the wardrobe, or rather lack of a wardrobe. Our room had a small cupboard with the height only good for hanging a T shirt. Not hug enough for a dress and certainly not a long dress

The room was spacious, nicely equipped and very clean. Breakfast was really pleasant in the restaurant next to the beach. Beach is across the street. Everything is within walking distance

The room we stayed in is on the ground floor with no view and not much light. It was difficult to find a parking spot around. There were no fruits on breakfast.

10 meters from the beach, the hotel has also umbrellas and sunbeds on the beach, really nice staff working in the restaurant, hotel and on the beach.

The facilities are old, aircondition is placed on the balkony, so its quite warm there, but then you have the beach!

We stayed at a big apartment on the last floor. It was very open and with a fabulous view at the beach. It was clean and had everything we needed from cutlery to beach towels.

We didn’t like that there is a free parking, but no one explained beforehand that it is the street in front the restaurant which has very few public spaces that are always occupied. We tried to find parking around the other streets, but without luck. So we parked at the paid parking near the marina.

Very Good buffet breakfast.. Also good food at the restaurant.. AC was included in the price. Free sunbeds & umbrellas on the beach if you order something from the food or drink menu on the beach..We had a Deluxe twin room with sea view.. The traffic was not disturbing at night

Can't come up with anything

The breakfast was great for us. The menu doesn't change; some grilled vegetables with eggs and bacon with some pastries, bread, cheese, ham, fruit, cereal etc. We normally don't need variety for breakfast, so this worked out perfectly for us. Especially considering the price and that it was included, we were very much satisfied. One morning, we went to breakfast a bit later than usual and the spinach/cheese pie had gone out. One of the staffs promised me that they would make more the next morning, which I thought was very kind of her to say. Plus, the location is beachfront with other restaurants and bars right in the vicinity. It's not totally located in the center, but it only takes about 10 minutes to walk from the hotel.

Facilities are definitely a bit outdated here. Room was spacious, but the bathroom showed that the place has been standing for some time. The walls are pretty thin so you could also hear pretty much everything going on in the hallway. I'm pretty senstive to sounds, so it worked out fine for the three days that we stayed, but I think I might have had some difficulty if we stayed a bit longer.

Basic buffet breakfast. Across the main road from the very busy beach. Location was very good for this kind of experience.

Car parking was always a bit of an issue as we had to drive the streets looking for a parking spot.

It's complicated to find a spot for your car in Rethymno if you would like to park your car close to the hotel.

The place is neat with friendly staff and delicious food. The location is within the reach of all facilities from both sides. I really have a good time at Birais.

Perfect location about 1km walk along the seafront from the Old Town, Venetian Harbour and Fortezza Fortress. Rethymnon’s top-rated restaurant Nostos Is about 3mins walk in the other direction, and was excellent and incredibly good value. The hotel offers clean, comfortable rooms with small balcony overlooking the beach. Lift to upper floors. Free sun bed and umbrellas on the beach for guests buying drinks from the hotel’s restaurant. Helpful, friendly staff. Excellent and plentiful breakfast included. Free parking relatively easy to find (in May) a short distance along the promenade. Wi-fi pretty good throughout the hotel

We chose this hotel, because of its location, sea view and the breakfast and we were satisfied with those. They cleaned our room everyday, which was an unexpected surprise.

The room was quite worn out: it was almost impossible to turn off the hot tap in the kitchen, there was a hole in the shower head and it was very hard to open the balcony door and it didn't close properly, so it didn't have much sound proofing.

the view was amazing. Breakfast was basic, but tasty. And the room and location were great.
