Great Lake views and kind staff

The views were breathtaking from the terrace and our balcony and also the shuttle from the cable car to the hotel was easy

If someone needs and AirCon during summer please be aware that there is no AirCon in the rooms not something to bother but just to be aware of when booking.

Can recommend a stay

The view is exceptional! The standard room was way more comfortable than expected. I liked the interior design. The breakfast was tasty and the staff was very friendly.

I didn't like that the pool is next to the outside area of the restaurant - no privacy was given. It could be much more beautiful when the furniture etc would be newer and maybe higher plants next to the pool... Also, I've missed a water kettle in the room. The way to the hotel is also not for everybody:D

Would highly recommend !

My stay at Hotel Paradiso was exceptional - the team at the hotel was so friendly and responsive - even helping us with transport options to Brunate prior to check in. They were also very responsive via email which was helpful, especially as first time travellers to Italy. Everyone at the hotel was also really helpful with travel tip and activities in Brunate. The hotel room was perfect, with beautiful views of Lake Como and exceptionally clean and comfortable. I would highly recommend a stay at Hotel Paradiso !

Nice hotel with a super view

Amazing staff, breakfast and the view ✨ Clean and fresh room.

It was a bit far from the funicular. It would have been good to know in advance that it would have been possible to get a ride from funicular station to the hotel.

Booked 4 nights, we checked-out after 1 night. Bad value for money

View on the lake

- The way from Como is horrible - 30-40 minutes driving uphill with narrow 1 lane roads, need to Maneouvere creatively when a car is coming in front of you. - Room was dirty - walls were scratched, mould in the shower, exposed electrical wires - life hazard! - Staff were just said "speak with booking.com". Not even apologies for the condition of the room.

Not worth the money i paid for cause i didnt had a chance to use the pool or the jaccuzi and takr my pictures .

They told us we cant use the jaccuzi as a guest once you check out at 12. Its the first time earinh this from a hotel, we were guest for 2 days so after 12pm cant use the pool or jaccuzi while the pool was too cold to use during our stay and the jaccuzi was used by other guest before 12pm (check out time) . It dont think its fair ! Since ae came for that could not take my beautiful pictures in the pool or the jaccuzi. The restaurant menu is kind of expensive and close super early ( 8pm). they should have let us known about this rule before. other than that the staff was really nice:)

It's great that Hotel Paradiso offers free shuttle to the Brunate - Como funicular from morning to evening, it makes the travelling down to Como much easier and convenient! The staff is great, and the view is amazing!

Unbelievable mountain views from a lovely family ran hotel.

Very welcoming and friendly staff (including the puppies!). Stunning lake view from the room, pool and jacuzzi. The restaurant had beautiful food with a range of choices. Excellent shuttle service from the funicular to the hotel, provided for free.

The location is great but there isn't much to do in Brunate itself. The lighthouse provides brilliant views, there is a lovely walk down to the center with viewpoints along the way. After that, just expect to have to get the funicular down to Como for more options.

brilliant stay, amazing location and beautiful food

very friendly and welcoming staff. quality of food was amazing and the beds were very comfortable

not so much didn’t like but really should have done more research on location as it was a pretty hairy car journey up! also it was a shame the pool was closed as it was the reason we chose this hotel over others.

The view from the hotel is fantastic

There was no Air conditioner, and the heat was unbearable. There were too many bees/wasps near the dining area which was really uncomfortable.

Disappointing

Breakfast was food - bread, croissants, coffee, and your choice of eggs, fruit, muesli. The dinner at the restaurant was also pretty good. The view from the restaurant terrace and the room was lovely!

Ok - quite a few things that need to be mentioned. On the Booking.com page for the hotel, they reference: welcome drink upon arrival (didn’t receive any welcome drink); bath robes in room (there were not any bath robes in the room); slippers in the room (no slippers in the room); free transfer to Brunate town centre until 10pm (this is actually only available depending on staff availability - so we called them for a pick up at midday and they told us they couldn’t help us. Had we known they were so inconsistent with their service, we would have just driven to Como). The bathroom had mould - health hazard that we mentioned to the staff as we were checking out but they didn’t seem to care. We stayed for two nights and when the staff did a clean the morning after our first stay, they took our hand soap and didn’t give us a new one - so we had no soap for hand washing. We requested an iron and it never came to our room. The hairdryer, hot water and water pressure are all terrible. I messaged the hotel a couple of weeks before we were due to arrive requesting assistance with booking a boat tour - and they didn’t respond to my messages. I called them a few days before we checked in to ask about air con/fan - and they told me the room I’d booked didn’t have either but when I asked about a portable fan they said the room would have one (it didn’t). On the second night, we arrived home late (11.30pm). We couldn’t open the door to get into the building. We tried the after hours number listed on the door three times but it rang out. Fortunately a lady in a nearby restaurant used to work in the hotel and showed us how to open the door. When we checked out, the staff member asked how our stay was. We offered to give him our honest opinion if he wanted to hear it. He said yes, but then didn’t seem to care about the hygiene issues or apologise for the communication issues on their end. They did give us a very small discount but it was a bad experience.

Amazing staff and even better views!

Fantastic view from the room and pool area, looked even better than the pictures!

No air con in room so could get quite hot but being up so high helps keep the room cool enough!
