Carpet needed restretching as it had bulges in it and was therefore a trip hazard. The chair had a broken leg. The ensuite hadn't been cleaned properly and there was a built up of dirt around the cornice. The towel rail fell off when we went to put a towel on it. The curtain at the front door needed attention. I do have supportive photos if required. We needed to leave early so there was no one at the office when we left to point out these issues

The location is the only good thing about it

We have stayed there on several occasions before over the years as we have family in Kyabram. Unfortunately the new owners have not kept up the standards of the previous owners. They just take the money. It is not clean enough, very old thin towels - not even a set that matches, cigarettes in the ashtray outside - it was full and had cobwebs over it so you could tell it had not been emptied / cleaned for months. The garden is full of weeds, the swimming pool is dirty and unusable. There were no individual soaps or shampoos - it was bulk bottles that had been used by a myriad of other guests - in the days of COVID this is just not acceptable. You should supply individually wrapped soaps at the least. The chairs outside each room were covered in cobwebs and dirt.

very clean

I was very happy with the quality of the room at a budget price. The kitchen area with half fridge, bench and basin exceeded my expectations. The bathroom was very clean and the whole room was well presented. I would definitely stay there again.

Unfortunately there was a party next door with loud music late into the night but that was hardly the motel’s fault!

Cutlery was set for one person not two. Other than that was a great place to stay
