The location is the best possible directly across from the Cathedral with views from our window. The hostess was so welcoming and made us a wonderful breakfast both of the mornings we stayed.

This is a historic building, so expect creaky floors, and the bathroom remodel was interesting, but everything worked well.

Hôtel agréable et très bien placé face à la cathédrale. La chambre confortable et spacieuse avec un salon. La literie très confort. Les hôtes très accueillants et le petit déjeuner copieux et varié, à discrétion. Je recommande

Comme on est sur le parvis… les cloches sonnent tôt ;-) mais ça fait partie du charme.

Wir kamen von Versailles und konnten uns in dieser Unterkunft wie Könige fühlen. Wir wurden herzlich empfangen. Nur wenige Schritte zur Kathedrale und in die herrliche Altstadt. Auch hier konnten wir uns wohler fühlen als im überlaufenen Versailles.

Dass hier eine städtische Straßenbaustelle war, konnte das Ambiente kaum schmälern.

Tolle Lage, süße Zimmer. Bestes Frühstück. Und vor allem das Personal (Sophia) ist ein Grund wieder zu kommen ☀️

Treppenhaus ist nichts für Menschen mit Gehbehinderung

Das Hotel liegt direkt an der Kathedrale. Vom Zimmer konnten wir die Kathedrale direkt vor uns sehen. Das Zimmer war relativ großzügig für einen Altbau und sauber. Die Gastgeberin war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Frühstück war einfach aber ausgiebig.

Wie in Altbauten üblich gibt es eine Rundtreppe mit schmalen Stufen. Zur Zeit wird der Vorplatz rund um die Kathedrale renoviert, deshalb war am Tag Baustellenbetrieb vor dem Hotel.

Nothing! I loved it!

The location was fantastic, under the shade of the cathedral. It’s a really old, quirky property - floors not straight, fun, historical. And Sophie was really helpful and friendly.

I wouldn’t say we didn’t like it, but getting to it is not easy - particularly at the moment with big works going on around the cathedral. And parking was not straightforward. Would stay again.

We had the Henry IV room in this quirky boutique hotel and loved it. It was light bright and airy and I loved the eclectic style of the room. It was beautifully decorated. Sophie who was managing the hotel was delightful and couldn’t do enough to make our stay pleasant and responded immediately when we had problems with finding the place. We would definitely book again next time we come to Chartres,

Gentillesse et grande amabilité de Sophie. Personne qui se démène seule pour gérer un hôtel. Je n’ai jamais vu une telle situation !!!!

Pas d’accueil, et en ce moment avec les travaux accéder à l’hôtel est …une véritable galère !!!!

La proximité de l'ultra centre ville, la décoration, les chambres spacieuses et le fait d'avoir un vrai coin salon dans chacune des chambres. La douche balnéo est super agréable et la personne qui nous a accueillit nous a laissé de la documentation d'actualités sur les événements en cours sur la commune. Le petit déjeuner est une vraie surprise également avec beaucoup de produits locaux proposés, qui plus est délicieux.

Le chauffage qui était un peu tiède à notre goût mais on a pu largement compenser avec la couette douillet supplémentaire

Que demander de mieux que d’être aux pieds de cette superbe cathédrale. Chambre d’hôte très agréable avec de très belles chambres calmes et tous confort. Petit déjeuner très copieux et Sophie est charmante. Je vous conseil très fortement cette établissement. Parking offert pas très loin se qui est un plus. Merci

The view was wonderful that you could see the cathedral right outside our room. We really enjoyed that breakfast. We really enjoyed staying there then his property was built in the mid-1200s.

Это просто чудо какое-то. Самый центр, окна прямо на один из величайших соборов Европы. Парковка. Прекрасные инструкции о том, как добраться. Очень хорошая хозяйка-управляющая. Прекрасный завтрак. Удобно и для тех, кто приезжает из Парижа на поезде. Ну и самое главное - сам город. Вечером собор и музей покрывает лазерное шоу, это бесподобно. Рядом магазины со всем необходимым и рестораны для ужина. При этом надо учитывать, что это все-таки здание, которому много лет, а подвал и цоколь вообще выглядят как современники собора. То есть лифта не ждите, но вам помогут с багажом. Мы во восторге и от гостиницы и от города.

L'amabilité de la personne qui accueille.

Personne n'est disponible sur place dans l'établissement. Pas de petit déjeuner avant 8h. Petit déjeuner médiocre : croissant et pain au chocolat congelé et réchauffé au micro one, pain de la veille idem. Et surtout personne pour récupérer et nous encaisser avant 8h, inacceptable pour une population qui travaille. J'ai du attendre 8h que quelqu'un ouvre la salle d'accueil et du petit déjeuner. Au niveau de la chambre, un lit rond très original certes, mais un manque d'intimité car les portes de la chambre sont vitrées et donnent sur le couloir, et seulement un petit volet roulant à baisser mais on voir sur les côtés surtout si la chambre est éclairée.

Bon petit-déjeuner . Bon accueil. Proximité immédiate de la cathédrale. Grande chambre avec salon. Le style ancien cadre très bien avec la cathédrale qui était notre premier objectif. Une place de stationnement pour PMR proche de l'hôtel a été très appréciée étant donné nos âges et handicap.

accueil, le lieu, la chambre et le côté d'être indépendant par un accès direct de la chambre à l'extérieur.

Sans me déranger vraiment, le français ralle toujours sur sa condition sociale, sans savoir qu'il s'adresse à des moins gâtés que lui. (même si je suis gâtée par rapport à d'autre.)

Million dollar view of Cathedral. You could reach out and almost touch the flying buttresses from our third floor window!

Directly across from Chartres cathedral. A little bit bohemian cute place. Nice breakfast and quiet.

No parking on premises. Must park at cathedral garage but it is very close to hotel.

One cannot imagine a more central location for a hotel – in the old part of town, right next to the Chartres Cathedral! The views from the rooms were impressive. The hosts were so friendly and helpful, and the rooms were charming and comfortable. The breakfast was sumptuous. Since we travelled as a group, we appreciated the lounge area in one of our rooms, and enjoyed a nice bottle of wine there, purchased from the hotel shop. This is a special hotel – warmly recommended!

It was full of character and a perfect location. It’s a bit of effort finding the municipal car park but that was part of the adventure. Good eateries nearby and the cathedral is magnificent.
