Pleasant hotel in Coatbridge. Rooms are small and a la carte breakfast isn't ideal.

Pleasant and clean hotel, friendly staff.

The breakfast is a la carte, meaning that there is often a delay in receiving your breakfast in the morning. For those like me that prefer to spend very little time dining in the morning this is not ideal. A buffet breakfast beats a la carte every time.

Stylish, friendly, very convenient

The room was lovely, huge bed, decent coffee and gorgeous aesthetically, also many lighting options which makes it feel sumptuous. The bathroom was large, lovely large walk in shower room felt opulent. It was surprisingly quiet given that it is next to a busy road - I didn't hear any traffic at all. The staff were lovely. The parking is easy - such a plus.

For my tastes the bed was too hard and the pillows sort of disappeared to nothing so also not too comfy, a couple of large bed spread pillows had small stains which is yucky. Apart from that I loved the room - for improvements I'd request shower caps of some sort because the over head rain shower, while nice, is not great if you want to wash without getting you r hair wet - or add a smaller adjustable shower head - super important if I had been on business.

Disappointing

The staff were friendly and the coffee machine was a nice change to the usual.

For the King Club room the bed was super uncomfortable and noisy you could hear the springs and they advertise they use elemis body wash and soap but forgot to fill them we had none in our room not even hand wash so you could imagine the shower was disappointing.

excellent stay, room was clean, spacious and well equipped. staff were really pleasant and helpful. check in was easy, no hold up at reception. free parking was great

Lovely room and comfort

The only thing was finding it, the given satnav postcode took me first to Airdrie then to Glenbogie before having to ring and ask for directions, even then I had to stop in Asda to ask the way, some better sign posting especially on the access road would be really beneficial.

the rooms are so spacious and the staff (Kathleen) are so friendly and make you feel so welcome. I have stayed on numerous occasions now and always made welcome.

Nice rooms, excellent restaurant

Shower was cold so had to use a different room for the shower but they were having boiler problems.

It was fine, although way too expensive for what was on offer.

The staff were very friendly, good location.

The restaurant was very disappointing. The room was basic, more like a Travel Lodge, and was only partly cleaned during our stay.

Nicely presented hotel, good parking, clean rooms , great reception staff, nothing too much trouble! Lovely breakfast served in the restaurant next door!

Rooms aren’t huge , we were on a higher floor traffic was really bad, moved to lower floor next day without a problem! No lounge or bar to meet up with friends, a couple of pubs nearby … were ok ! Getting a taxi in the area at night was a nightmare sadly!

Overnight stay for work

I stopped using the Mondo when the wifi was very poor, now it's fixed and was a solid 30Mb, 25ms latency. A very welcome improvement

Fine if you're going clubbing

Very noisy location next to pubs nightclubs with loud music until 3am

Had high hopes but left very disappointed

Room was lovely and comfortable. Free parking on site. Breakfast was lovely. Staff were nice.

Hotel was next to a nightclub, which I didn't pick up on when booked but actually wasn't noise from there that bothered us, it was in hotel itself. When we were given room (104) just off reception, had a feeling this might not be good. Hardly slept all night, either with people coming into reception and chatting, doors banging, noises from upstairs and just noise in general. Paid extra for Superior King but this room should only be given to last minute bookings, not someone who has booked months in advance as I did. Very disappointed as reviews seemed good. Would not return.

a lovely, welcoming hotel, great decir, clean and good vfm. excellent Mondo restaurant next door

clean, all facilities we needed. had dinner at adjoining restaurant which was excellent

as we stayed a Saturday night it was noisy outside. so had to shut the window so it was a bit warmalso doors to each room in the corridor clised noisily and theregore dusruptive
