Excellent accommodation. The staff was very friendly and the place was designed beautifully. Very quiet and Serene. Direct view to the desert recommended to take the upper Suite. David was great and was very attentive. Highly recommended!

Relaxing stay in a beautiful desert area

Loved the room decor, the patio, hot tub and the view! Communication with David was easy and straightforward. Mitzpe Ramon is a wonderful artsy small town worth visiting!

great place to stay right near the makhtesh

beautifully kept property, lots of flowers and scenic view from the room. room very comfortable with nice touches such as yummy sweets and nuts, pretzels, milk available in the room gratis. soft bathroom towels and terry cloth robes available. very clean throughout. friendly informative host.

Stunning and high quality place in the desert with sunset views and a hot tub.

Desert Home was simply stunning. I stayed there with my mum and we had a little studio with a seperate bedroom and a sleeping couch in the living area. The big balcony facing the desert is so lovely and there is sun all afternoon till sunset. The room is beautifuly decorated and well equipped and you can tell that the owner put a lot of effort and thought in that. We didn't have any other accomodation on this level of quality on our trip through Israel. One of the owners welcomed us personally. He was very kind and offered us his help with any questions about the place and also the region. If you stay there on a Shabbat make sure you order some Jachnun (traditional jemeinite breakfast) at "Jachnun Chofshit" nearby (order in advance!). They deliver it to your door in an old VW beetle.

Desert Home is rather pricey, maybe even a bit overpriced. But we still thought it was worth it. Since the weather was not super stable during our time in Mitzpe we were very happy to have such a cozy and amazing place to stay at.

Worth the stay, very clean and lovely!!

Clean, comfortable, friendly host

The backyard was shared so conversations were heard if one was outside. Would have liked more privacy, eventho we didn't need it at this particular time.

Highly recommended, enjoyable stay, we loved it!!

Very comfy bed, large room with lovely decor, kitchen to meet basic needs, deck in a lovely garden, desert view and hot tub, lots of parking. David was very helpful with travel advice and insights into Israeli life.

December was chilly, so couldn't spend too much time on the deck

Amazing place. Everything is beautiful and all needs that might arise are thought through- from well equipped kitchen to a sound system and variety of CDs to a ready hot tub, and local information.

Relaxing and welcoming.

The location is great and the hot tub in the garden was amazing. Above all, David was great, helpful and know the area perfectly.

I found it expensive for what it is, a room (very nice, indeed) without real kitchen. For this price I think the room could be done daily and breakfast could be served.

Excellent stay in beautiful location

Host provided excellent help in getting checked in and through stay. A/C worked fine, and unit was clean. There were many thoughtful/unique touches

Bed was comfortable, but lower than a standard hotel room bed, and this can make it hard for some people to get in and out

The owner was very pleasant. The room was beautiful. Perfectly equipped room - coffee maker, fridge, cooker, air conditioning, candles, sweets, nuts..

There were ants in the room and on the balcony There were too many bits and pieces in the room and clutterred the bed was very low off the floor

Amazing place, great amenities, exceptional experience! Will be back!

Exceptional place. In a silent house, with a nice view to the desert. The place itself was better and bigger then expected. It is super clean, there’s everything in the kitchen to cook with, the bathroom is super spacious (and we’re big people), with a sofa and working Netflix. The porch is great overviewing the sunset, with chairs and a table to have a nice meal with wine. The hot tub (shared with all) is amazing touch we had it for ourselves and it was really nice. I could honestly live there for a week at least. Just a few minutes ride you have coffees places, soap factory, restaurants, supermarket and fun stuff such as Alpacas farm or crater view. The whole place is a true diamond, everything is design to details, from candles and art pieces to wood curves furniture and lemongrass soap. We really enjoyed and will come back for sure! Thank you for creating and maintaining this place.

Two things: the bed is a but too soft for our taste (but some would prefer it), and sometimes you hear water running from the neighbors kitchen.

Perfect in every way!

Perfect in every way! Worth every penny. Style and comfort in a wonderful location. The owner had many wonderful books about the area that I enjoyed reading.

I would have wanted to have two keys, one for me and one for my cousin.

Great place, very clean and comfortable. The kitchen is equipped. The room was quite big with 2 balconies and we had a lot of space. A very pleasant place for a vacation.
