To conclude , One will not be dissapointed. The photos really and truly does not give it justice!!!!
The view's surrounding this property are truly beyond belief. exhilarating to say the lease. an absolute gem overlooking the the magnificent beauty Gloucester has too offer.
A little more attention to detail in regards too cleaning. the ceilings need too be thoroughly cleaned as well as the curtains as they have gathered up a good amount of dust.

We had 3 nights with a group of six and our pet greyhound. The property exceeded our expectations and provided everythi
From the moment we walked in the property was impressive. The photographs don’t do it justice. The weather for our stay was a mix but we found whatever the case we were comfortable in different areas of the house. There were six of us which was a great number (even though it is a 5 bedroom house). The separate wings and the outdoor spaces gave us the flexibility to all be together for group activities or to separate off into active and quiet little groups. The view is amazing, the location only a short drive into the Main Street of Gloucester. Adequate shopping options if you didn’t want to take food/drink with you. Nice cafes and pubs in town for other options if you didn’t want to self cater. The kitchen was well appointed, we had every appliance/utensil we needed. The property was clean and well laid out. There was fencing around the house (barbed wire for neighbouring cattle) but still ample yard for our greyhound to stretch his legs outside. The outdoor area(s) were comfortable however the furniture could use updating on one of the balconies. There was a family sized Weber bbq, a large laundry, clothesline and a very nice outdoor fire pit area. The master bedroom was outstanding with views of the hills and paddocks beyond, it adjoined a massive walk-in robe and through to a well appointed master bathroom. It had a massive walk-in shower and a bathtub both with views outside to the hills beyond. You were able to pull privacy blinds down on the front facing side of the bathroom however there wasn’t the option for this to the rear facing aspect. It didn’t bother us, it was rather liberating however it may not appeal to some. The second bedroom and adjoining bathroom in that wing had the same views as the master as did the 3rd bedroom which was configured with two single beds. The spacious lounge room completed that wing. The other wing comprised a bedroom with adjoining bathroom, separate toilet and another bedroom with 2 single beds.
There was such a high level of sundries supplied within the kitchen, bathroom, laundry etc cooking oil, salt/pepper, sauces, foil, baking paper, paper towel, toiletries etc. Because so much was supplied it made the few items that could also have been supplied, but weren’t, become apparent. We couldn’t find spare garbage bags, cling wrap or any lighter/fire lighters for the fire pit. Considering the price point of the accommodation it would have been nice to have firewood included. Having said that they were all easy items to go and purchase for ourselves (which we did). This is such a minor dislike and barely inconvenience that it didn’t alter our opinion of the property or the quality of our stay. Hard to find something bad to say about it.

Apart from a few areas that lacked in cleanliness, our stay was incredible. Would return.
The location, the house, the serenity.
There was a horrendous smell in the main entry. So bad you had to hold your breath to walk past. After further investigation, there was a deceased frog stuck in the crack of the door, covered in maggots. Once we removed the frog the odour still lingered. There was a lot of hair left in the shower drain which was also a little disappointing. The fan in our room also didn’t work which was quite uncomfortable for sleeping in the heat. The garbage bins were overflowing and covered in flies which was also a bit of a turn off when trying to cook

The hot water is inadequate as too long getting hot or not at all such a waste of water just waiting for it too get warm. Lawn could have been mowed

We are so grateful to be given the opportunity to stay at ‘The Ridge Gloucester’, especially after two years being stuck
The architecture and design of ‘The Ridge Gloucester’ thoughtfully encompasses the stunning panoramic view of the natural surroundings. It is located in a secluded area, making it the perfect countryside escape from the usual city suburbia. Our four legged friends had the time of their life running around on pristine acreage and experiencing memorable first time encounters with wildlife and farm animals. We were lucky enough to experience a night of wild thunder rumbling above us as we slept. The sunsets and sunrises were equally stunning. This property definitely lives up to its label as an “eco-friendly lodge” and was very clean upon our arrival.
The property is separated into a north and south pavilion. The main living room had excellent air circulation, however, the southern part of the house was extremely humid. Despite following all the relevant instructions on the manual, the south pavilion was unbearably hot. We also had some trouble with the remote control for the curtains in the main living room as one side was not closing properly.
