The Chateau is beautifull with a very nice decoration. The pool was absolutely great to have as it was quite warm, and the host was very nice.
As it was quite warm, it was a little hard to sleep, in the summer I would probably go for something with airco, which in an old chateau like this is hard to add without hurting the facade of the building. Any other time of year I would absolutely come back here

Excellent hosts
Beautiful accommodation. Great location. Bakery less than one minute walk away.
A lot to see and do within the immediate vicinity.
Surprise treasure hunt provided by the hosts which the children (and adults) enjoyed.

Beautiful building and location
It should be made clear when booking that sheets and towels cost extra. All other bookings I made in Europe with booking.com, towels and sheets are included in the cost. This is a misrepresentation of the cost of booking accomodation. Please make it clear in the booking information. I thought the cost was 160 Euros for 3 people. The cost of towels and sheets was an extra 50 Euros. This is a major extra cost. We had to pay an extra 20 Euros as we had no sheets. We refused to pay for towels

If you want to stay in a really french atmosphere, this is the place! The 'chateau' is beautiful and positioned next to the old church in a quit village. For us it was perfectly located to explore the wines of the Bergerac region. Many wine chateau close by and monbaziliac within a short drive. Both the room and garden are comfortable and great to relax.
- If you would like to cook in the room there are missing some essential tools like cutting boards and decent (bread) knives. The rest of the kitchen is nice though!
- I think it is a bit strange that you have to pay extra for your bedsheets and towels.. (we eventually brought our own). For this price per night you can expect them to be included.

Beautiful small chateau with a great pool - very necessary after a long day's walking. Very spacious apartment with great views - could have stayed here a week!

Magnificent historical house, a lot of space in our room and good kitchen with everything we needed.
Room was renovated beautifully and was cool even if it was a hot summer day.
Host was extremely helpful even though we had a minor language barrier since i cant speak French at all, but thats on me.

The chateau was so beautiful, the view from the window was breathtaking. There’s a boulangerie & mini market a 2 minute walk around the corner and cafes & restaurants & little towns are easily accessible by a 10 minute car journey. We absolutely loved our stay.

the place is OK for people who want to see the area, Bergerac, Monbazillac end other neighboring places. Some very good resaturants nearby.
Maybe ok for persons who want to stay for a week and bring their own sheets and towels. If you ask (and pay a fee) for sheets, you will be disappointed... apparently the first floor apartment is OK. But the second floor apt (called St Ours) has some problems: bathroom is very narrow, no ventilation. Pieces of furniture (sofa-beds) are old and falling into crumbles... Swimming pool is not reserved for guests: it is colonized by members of the owner's family. Apart from this it's decent but not particularly nice --- we will not return.

Good central location.
‘Dead’ village.
