Lovely guesthouse with friendly owner. Bedroom was comfortable and communal kitchen large and well stocked. Only 10 min drive from park entry.
Like most guesthouses your stay can only be as good as the other guests. While we were there a group of young males sat outside drinking and talking loudly until 3am. As the outdoor seating area is right next to the downstairs bedrooms this made it impossible to sleep until they went to bed. Bedroom 1 has a window onto this area so best to request you don’t get bedroom 1.

Everything was totally okay, extremely nice owners, spacious and comfortable bed. Plitvice Lakes can be reached within 12 minutes with car. There is a cute restaurant 1 minute from the house, very nice food and staff as well. Stayed for one night, going back for more in the future.:)

Amazing location, 10min away from some restaurants, supermarkets and even a shopping mall as well as 10min away from the entrance to Plitvice Park. You are surrounded by nature in a cute little village, so perfect to let your dog lose or to just have a break from city life. Room was quite decent sized, you have a kitchenette and your own bathroom.
My room was in ground floor next to the area where other guests would eat their meals, since it was nice weather and the house had a terrace, so it could be a bit noisy from 19h-21h.

You have to be careful, it shows a beautiful picture of a room with a bathroom and you wake up in a closet with a bathroom outside. The bathroom is not clean, the staff does not speak any international language, maximum noise, you can not rest, and the closet window is in a terrace where there are tables and barbecue

It had a very homely atmosphere, it was warm and Comfortable in a beautiful rural setting. The owners were very friendly and welcoming, there was good parking, strong WiFi signal. Comfortable bed with well pressed sheets.

The hosts were really heartful and helpful. They drove us to the Plitvica Park and gave us umbrellas as it was rainy.
For backpacker its hard to get there due to the bad bus connection.

For the pricing a very good place.
Only had one night but this place is so quiet and has allot of potential for a longer stay ( outdoor wood grill) close to plitvice lakes

Very nice hosts, friendly people. Great location close to the lakes. The bbq area and kitchen was fully equipped and with great views.
The shared toilet was super small and a bit claustrophobic for me. I did not have where to put my toiletries nor my clothes.

Guesthouse Aurora is in a great location to Plitvice National Park. It is actually on the other side of the entrance to the park, if you keep driving down the road, you will get to the upper viewpoints (instead of having to climb up from the bottom of the valley!). The rooms are well appointed, ours had a kitchen and dining area as well. There is a great restaurant just below the house.
The walls/doors are very thin so you do hear everything but everyone was quiet at night!
