The staff were very friendly. The location is great: it's only 2 blocks from a metro station (Estación Tribunal) and the Cibeles-to-Adolfo Suárez Madrid–Barajas Airport bus stop is an easy 20-minute walk. Unfortunately the bedroom faces a very busy street (Calle de Fuencarral) so lots of noises at all times including past 2 AM. So needless to say, it kept me awake way past my normal 10 PM sleeping time. My roommates were just great. We got along fine. The lockers near the bathroom feel a lot safer. There is plenty of shelf space in the sleeping quarters. The common area (cocina/comedor/sala) is comfy. I like the fact that the shower stalls (las duchas) is private with a few pegs for a towel & clothes, a shower mat & a stool. No issues with the hot water.

This hostel is in an ideal location. This hostel so comfortable and really realy clean. The beds are so comfy.

everything but staffs are worst.
Firstly I was guided a room for 4, but people from India come in and out the room over and over even though they are not my roommate. Afterwards, a kind staff changed my room, but it was a room for 8 without pay me back the difference of fee. To make matters worse, I had to share my room with 7 guys and they were so loud and called inside the room until 3am.
In terms of atmosphere, every room was dark as I thought it love hostel.
I‘ve never had such an horrible experience.
I will never stay there again.

Did not like anything…they refused to give us a break when we requested a change in dates!
The management is not customer friendly! Would not recommend it to anyone. There are better options and cheaper!

Location was very good
The check out system needs to be improved. Either accept the 10€ deposit being paid by card, or employ people at the reception before 8am. I basically had my deposit stolen because I couldn't get my money back due to the time I needed to leave for my flight

The staff were so nice! beds were decently spaced and you get a lamp and outlet
Super dirty! my room STANK!! as in smelled so bad that I kept opening the window. My sheets were not that clean (saw a bit of a stain on one), the bathrooms are DISGUSTING. wet floors and you an see shoe marks and stinky. So bad that i couldn't sleep because the whole room smelled like body odor even when the room was empty. I have been to so many hostels in my life and for $35 euro a night, I wish I just had paid $50 for a hotel instead of this super gross place. also no elevator so have to haul everything upstairs. got no sleep at all worrying about the smell and they carry 0 towels at this place. it's basically a place to sleep and the pillows are terrible and mattresses stained. 100% would never stay again

The showers need to be improved. It is too small to freely accommodate an average size individual. The pillows are also old and flat.

We leaved early and asked if they could give something for breakfast earlier. This wasn`t possible even they have 24h reception.
