Decent place to stay

The staff was friendly, eager to help. Nice food, good breakfast

A bit outdated. Had a problem with no hot water in the shower but we were moved to another room, so we appreciated the eagerness of the staff to help.

Amazing, helpful staff

The staff at the Chieftain were 💯 brilliant. There were minor issues which were rectified immediately, food was tasty & beer... that was oh so tasty too🤣, the location of the Chieftain was great and yet it was so incredibly quiet too. Breakfast was brilliant. We would definitely stay again 🥳

Fab little hotel and exceptional value for money, breakfast was superb and defo be back....

Very loud in Bar and a bit ott but I suppose it was too be expected as the Glasgow Derby was on that day......

Great, friendly hotel near the city centre

Very friendly staff, clean public areas, nice sports bar. Excellent service at breakfast. Very dog friendly.

Bed was a little small, but comfy enough. Window wouldn't stay open on its own, had to prop it open for cool air.

A great dog friendly hotel ,10 mins walk from the city with good food and great staff

A very good hot cooked breakfast , with other options available Very dog friendly , and the staff couldn’t do enough for you , always had a bowl of water and biscuits for our 2 wee dogs muffin and Rosie , Hotel is just out of town , but only about about a 10 min walk and plenty of buses passing by This will be our go to hotel on future visits to inverNess 10/10

Superb

It was a lovely stay from start to finish and the food was very good and good choices and a small stroll into the town

There was one thing we were with a other couple it was getting a shower the bath was quit high for them to get into to have a shower

Lovely staff very clean hotel.

Our room was immaculately clean, the afternoon and night staff were very friendly and we had a good chuckle with them. All in all we had a lovely stay!

In the morning we went down for breakfast. My full breakfast was lovely, however my partner found 3 hairs in his meal. When we got the attention of the young man serving and told him we got a reply with “well I’m not sure what you want me to do about that” and walked away. Maybe some training for the younger staff wouldn’t go a miss

Excellent value would recommend

Location was okay for our needs. Outside noise unfortunately could be heard traffic etc. Breakfast was excellent value.

Unfortunately the noise from passing traffic could be heard, double glazing could be replaced.

Perfect for stay in a scotish ambience.

Spacious, very characteristic house. Cozy dining room and traditional pub.

It took a very long time for the ordered breakfast to be served.

The staff were wonderful and accommodating

The place needs a serious makeover, it is very dark and dreary for a hotel. The bed was rock hard as were the pillows.

A warm welcome in the capital of the highlands

Great service all round We had some questions concerning parking our campervan which we quickly answered and there is plenty of "first come first severed" spaces The greeting we received when checking in was lovely and welcoming Our room was huge with plenty of space Breakfast was just the start to the day we needed, try the Highland Breakfast it will not disappoint
