unexpectedly luxurious and comfortable rooms in a historic building with old fashioned vibe . great location at the beginning on Main Street in this hill fort town. Restaurant was much better than expected

No arrival advice on parking, and how to access parking near hotel. A satnav parking destination would be most helpful, especially to prevent navigating heavy touring motorcycles through the steep, cobbled streets.

Beautiful hotel, right in the centre of the town. Quiet rooms. Very comfortable bed with plenty of room and fabulous views from room 302. The rooms had a walk in shower with two shower heads, one wall mounted and one rain fall shower head on the ceiling. The lift was very useful as the internal stairs are solid stone and quite high. The original features are gorgeous. It's a really lovely hotel and I would recommend it highly.

The room was beautiful with a wonderful view and very comfortable bed. Very clean! We rented e-bike (high quality and new model Trek bikes) and the staff was helpful and enthusiastic about helping us get out and about on them.

The hotel is super cute and its location is perfect. We got a room with views and it was totally worth it! Near the hotel there are many bars and restaurants. The castle and medieval walls are within walking distance from the hotel. Nice staff members and very clean. We parked the car in the public carpark which is like 5-minute walk from the hotel. I would recommend to anyone the hotel, great value for money.
