Location.
I booked a deluxe double room with sea view only to arrive and find out it was given to someone else. There were no toiletries in the bathroom. The reception and cleaning staff were unfriendly. Breakfast was subpar and the waiters robotic. Didn't even greet guests. The inn charges hotel prices for what is essentially a tired B&B. The manager assured me she'd sort me out the next time I came, which is pretty cheeky considering she knows I won't come again.

Room was spotless, nice crisp bed linen, nice decor with a beachy vibe. Comfortable bed. Would definitely opt fora room with a seaview if I get the opportunity to return. Dinner was fab, had the dressed crab and. lemon sole, delicious
Could hear alot of noise, someone knocking on a door that was maybe locked out, other than that we had a lovely stay.

Delightful room, overlooking the sea. Excellence in customer service. Concise menus serving fresh food, particularly the shellfish.

The location was great and it was right on the strand as the name suggests, great views and close to good restaurants, cafes and bars. Would stay here again

The staff were super friendly and helpful. The house we stayed in was lovely, and very spacious. Excellent location and comfortable beds. lovely breakfast

our second stay at The Strand and we will continue to return from the States. it is quiet, picturesque, charming, cozy….and the staff is amazing. The food was terrific and the best breakfast around. We can’t wait until next time!!!

ROOM WAS TOP CLASS, VIEW WAS OUTSTANDING AND BREAKFAST WAS DELIGHTFUL. WE HAD A SUPERB TIME AT THE STRAND INN.

restaurant ( let them down a bit ) only one vegetarian dish on menu when we asked a staff member she said don’t do vegetarian dishes the only dish they had consisted of hummus and flat bread some beans absolutely rotten. I think they need to look at the menu again….. but this won’t turn me off going back

The premises, location and ambiance was just fantastic & the sun shone. What a fabulous stay.

Was put in rm 19 which is an attic room and an extremely cold room - no extra blankets supplied only a very small electric heater
The room was €170 which I think was extremely expensive for what we received
