The location is right opposite the sea with a great view from the dining room and veranda. The host is warm and friendly and very welcoming.

The place is a little tired and could do with some updating, stained rug on the floor and discoloured bath robes need replacing.

The location was good, the accommodation was very layed back, no fuss, use house as if it was your own.

There were no locks on the room door, and the front door was left unlocked. Something that we are not accustomed to. But it's a very remote location, so it's probably not a problem.

Checkin was very friendly with a cuppa and a TimTam with the owner. Sitting on the porch with a drink in the evening with excellent views of the sea and mountains was fantastic! The room was comfortable with a very good bed with ample pillows to choose from.

This was probably more our problem than that of the venue. Our room was in the family home which at times meant we were a little bit closer to the family than we had anticipated. The house is on a farm and the owner was up and about at 5am. With the kitchen very close to our room this was a bit of a problem for light sleepers.

Super friendly and accommodating. Pat & Harry made our stay really relaxing.

Peter was an awesome host! really nice B&B away from town - room was a little small, but good enough for one night! breakfast was in the families living room with an AWESOME view to the sea & mountains.

Located at the point of Kaikoura at easy walking distance of seal colony. You could actually stumble over seals. The owner was very helpful with directions and showed us great place to eat. Beautiful view of bay directly near the beach.
