Easy to find/get to, but feels nice and rural, with some great local walks. Great that they welcome dogs. Fantastic pub within easy walking distance (The Cock Inn). Hosts friendly and helpful, but keep out of your way.
No Wi-Fi, but nice to escape the tech over the Christmas holiday.

Lovely, clean, comfortable, character home. Well equipped and warm. Beautiful area.
We were unable to make contact with the hosts prior to stay, despite having a phone number. As we were staying over Christmas we needed some questions answered re facilities / equipment etc. However, despite the lack of contact, we found the house well equipped and it had everything we needed.

Comfy sofas in the lounge. Functional BBQ. Warm. Reasonably well equipped kitchen. Spacious rooms and comfy beds. Great for access to Forest of Dean
No coffee making facility/cafetière even, lights for nighttime use of BBQ area would be helpful, one shower room only, drafty main doors- could do with some insulation. Active leak from upstairs dripping into downstairs shower (which was attended to promptly). DVD player did not work.
