the sound of water with a cafe

while you sit on the terrace the view at the small river is stunning. you can watch it for hours. and the sound gives you peace. the owner knows the place very well and he talks with so much passion about the surrounding… about all the different hills how they look like and how they are different even though they are just in a 3 km radius around.

Care for the quests

The location of the accomodation is not exactly by the main touristic attractions (but the roads are great and we arrived in no time). It was just great, right near Tara Springs with great views, green nature, fresh air and the sound of the water which was just more than words can express. They have a restaurant, portions are big and the quality is good. The staff is nice and friendly. Beds were confortable also and sleeping with the sound of the river was very nice. For us it was definately the best choice and a location in which we would definately love to come back.

Beautiful location. Great breakfast, lunch and dinner options. You can also get a sandwiches made to take with you for lunch. The hotel organises local guides for a variety of excursions.

Small rooms, expensive tours or motor rentals. But not the hotels problem.

If you love nature and prefer an authentic experience to luxury, this is the place for you!

The location is perfect and the scenery and sounds of nature at the hotel really spectacular, staff is extremely friendly and helpful with arranging excursions, nice ambiance and very good value for money.

Service in the restaurant in the evenings were sometimes slow, but hey, you've come to escape the rush of everyday life!

Very special and exciting

An extraordinary place in the middle of the forest with the sound of the pleasant babbling of the nearby river. The food is excellent, the staff is exceptional, and everything is just above expectations. We only stayed for 1 night this time but hopefully, we can go back for a longer time to take advantage of the many benefits of this place and try out some hiking tours they provide.

The atmoshere was amazing, location is fantastic and food always great. I adore that the owner the respect the nature. the hotel is surrounded by real wild nature. I must mention the exceptional service.

Perfect place for nature lovers

Nice B&B surrounded by nature. Really nice and helpful stuff. Our late arrival wasn’t a problem, they recommended best places to visit in Durmitor and nearby. Very good restaurant with traditional dishes and view over the river worth to be mentioned apart! Perfect for nature lovers.

Quite minimalistic approach in decoration, it’s just a small hotel near the mountains (that was perfect for us, as we wanted spend all our time in nature!)

Quiet place in very beautiful place

Exceptional place near the very beautiful mountain stream. Offer a big free parking space, cozy café, quiet place to walk nearby. We were celebrating our coworker and friends birthday and everything was good. Definitely should return one more to this place.

Good food and a nice view from the restaurant. Comfortable beds. The staff will happily book rafting and other tours for you with pickup from the hotel. Very good value for money!

Room could have been cleaned more thoroughly, but the most important things (bed and bathroom) were clean Edit: they should find another employee to reply to guest reviews. I provided more details in a message to them on what was not clean because they asked (rudely), which was followed by another rude reply saying that we are not "true nature lovers". Because we don't like to find other guests' toenails, cobwebs and black mold in the fridge? They next adapted their initial response to my review saying it would be better if the "right" people come to places that are right for them. We really enjoyed our stay when we were there, but now it leaves a very bad taste.

This Hotel and its staff was very cooperative in everything i spent one day the made my rafting and Zipline reservation the place is in the Tara Spring national park which is breathtaking scenery

A pure, simple and wonderful experience.

We were welcomed whole heartedly. Very friendly staff.Lots effort with the newly equipped rooms. decent food and a beautiful location. a lot of activities are offered. a wonderful location for nature lovers.

The room was brand new.Modern bathroom with hair dryer. comfy beds. breakfast was also nice.

Just ok.

We arrived in rain and it was very kind of them, that we could shorten our stay. On rainy days there isn’t really much to do. The staff was very nice and helpful. It’s very easy to put the hotel and surrounding area into scene when you take pictures. The creek next to the hotel is gorgeous!

During the day loads of coaches stop by for lunch or dinner. The whole place gets/ in general has a cafeteria atmosphere and just doesn’t feel so relaxed and peaceful as it does in the pictures. In general the place isn’t as cosy as it looks and I think it is overrated. The cabin was kind of cold and there is no heating.

The best place I have ever visited

The location is absolutely stunning. We've travelled to many places and have never stayed anywhere this impressively beautiful. Stayed in a 2 bed chalet overlooking the Tara river and surrounded by mountains. The staff were so helpful and accommodating. Rooms well equipped and comfortable. Took a rafting tour of the Tara Canyon with our 4 year and 6 year old children and it was a fantastic experience. Hotel was ridiculously good value for money.

Amazing location, great value.

Wonderful stay at a beautiful location

The location of this historical hotel is one of its best assets. It is located at the entrance of the national park, close to the main attractions but away from the noise, and immediately next to a natural spring water fountain. We could hear the water flowing while sleeping, which was very relaxing. The hotel is fully equipped and the room was very comfortable. The host was very accommodating and made our stay a very smooth one.

Location is amazing, food is good. Menu for breakfast should be more creative, specially sweet breakfast one spoon of jam and 2 small bags of honey, at least use some local 🍯 instead of this from bag. Staff is great! Good job! They are the reason to come back! My rate is 10 because of them and location!

In genaral terms, hotel needs a lot of polishing. Tv missing in room, no air conditioning, shower is bad, and windows netting is missing its almost impossible to open the window during the day specially night because of bugs. Wires from ground everywhere even close to children playground there are bare wires, from bad connected lights.
