Un lugar fuera del mundanal ruido
Tranquilo, céntrico, agradable, bonito
Las escaleras, y en baño en otro piso distinto a las habitaciones, pero comprendimos que no podía ser de otra manera

Centrally located, smart design, beautiful cottage
Gorgeous cosy design, comfortable rooms and cute garden. Well equipped kitchen, smart appliances.
Hard to work the underfloor heating so it was a little cold, plus lounge could be more comfortable. Location is very good and central but for some this may be noisy, I found this on weekend evenings but it wasn’t unbearable and they provide earplugs at the house!

Cosy luxury in the heart of Margate
Loved: excellent location, lovely cosy cottage with luxury touches, comfortable beds, excellent kitchen. Generous welcome goodies, milk, butter, jam, bread and coffee. Thoughtful earplugs, and excellent quality towels, lots of interesting reading materials about Margate and the town's history. A short walk from the beach and shops, mere steps from pubs and restaurants.
The key safe was really tricky - but once we'd overcome that, no other issues.

Lovely cottage in great location but could be more comfortable
Great location, comfortable beds, well equipped kitchen and essentials were there for us on arrival (milk, bread, butter).
The house is draughty and cold and the heating was inadequate so we needed to rug up inside. Hot water in the shower was also patchy, though fine in the bath. It’s in a great central location but not soundproofed so you hear all noise from the street including overnight deliveries to Morrison’s. We would have enjoyed our stay more if the sitting area was cosier/comfier, but we were there with a toddler so spent evenings in and this probably wouldn’t have bothered us if we were out in the evenings.

Beautiful but not particularly comfortable
Excellent location, beautifully and thoughtfully renovated house that has been stylishly decorated. Appreciated having lots of books about the place. Towels and bed linen were high quality.
Living room armchairs and 2 seat sofa were elegant and in keeping with the cottage styling (vintage mid century, small and boxy) but not at all comfortable for tall people to lounge on, so we found ourselves going to bed every time we wanted to be relaxing in the cottage. All rooms other than bathroom are overlooked by the street (at front) and other properties (front and back) and there are no privacy shades (e.g. muslin blind/curtain) so then privacy in the bedroom meant pulling down the blackout blind and having to put the lights on. The picture in the listing shows an outside view looking into the kitchen at the back. Extending from this glass wall is several feet of glass ceiling also, which makes the room lovely and light. You can also see in the picture there is a cupboard on the immediate left going in, and this is the downstairs toilet. Using this at night means using a torch or turning on the kitchen light, lighting up the whole space that can be seen from the neighbour's extension and many other properties in the adjacent street. The alternative was to use the toilet in the bathroom directly above the main bedroom, which was (a) noisy for partner still in bed and (b) meant bumping head (again tall (sleepy) person problem) on restricted ceiling at top of stairs.
