It was all lovely. The area is amazing with lots of areas to walk and visit. The cottage is large and has everything needed for any stay. The utility room was useful for drying our wet coats. We didn't need to use the washing machine or dishwasher so can't comment on those. The kitchen is very well equipped. There are plenty of maps and information about the local areas of interest, and also books and board games available to use.
Some areas upstairs has very squeaky floors, the TV is a little small, and a couple of hooks in the bathroom would be very useful. Maybe a TV in the bedroom would be an added luxury for some. But overall nothing to complain about 🙂.

Mr & Mrs Elliot host is very kind, cottage is very clean, well prepared to receive guests, sufficient stuffing, like milk, lemon cake and even oil we asked for were very responsive and making warm for our stay.
very consideration for covid measurement, sanitisation works being in place that was impressive.
Hosts also introduced few great trails for our hikes just surroundings.
not really dislike, but the sign to the cottage could be considered in both sides that could make the private way easier to approach.

Couldn't fault it! We had such a lovely long weekend at the stables. The house was so cosy and clean with great facilities, amazing kitchen with everything you need. Beds very comfy, great shower and bath. Incredible location and scenery - perfect to be in such a warm and comfortable house when surrounded by nature and amazing walks. Host was very kind and helpful with checking in.

Lovely quiet location with amazing views. Choice of seating in the garden. Best ever equipped kitchen. Very comfortable and very clean. Friendly and helpful hosts

Fabulous location - extremely quiet and peaceful with wonderful views. Within very easy reach of Mam Tor, Winnats Pass, Castleton etc.

Everything. place is spacious and cozy. comfortable beds. way much better than advertised photos. Ideal location. Amazing views everywhere. Will definitely come back. Thanks mrs. Elliot

The lady who showed us in was very nice. Beds comfortable, kitchen fully kitted out, super clean and Wi-Fi easy to access. Beautiful house with easy access to nearby bridleways
Finding the property was nigh on impossible. No instructions available to find the place aside from postcode, which takes you to somewhere half a mile down the road (the YHA).
Having tried to call up the number on the line, I didn't get any response (it was a number for a holiday company), we climbed a hill to see if we could find the property from an elevated position.
Super easy for you to fix on the listing, or pre-arrival info! Other than that, the stay was fantastic
