Good location, not far from the town. Excellent views

Little chilly when we arrived but it soon warmed up.

Pleasant view of Fields, hills and animals.

Shower was not very powerful. Bedroom a bit small.

The view from the lodge was lovely. With all the sheep and wildlife running around.

Sheep in the field were nice to look at, good location handy to walk into town.

A lot. This is a property which needs upgrading to reflect the photos and description on the website. At £140 per night I expected more luxury, not a glorified caravan! Fixtures and fittings were basic Argos & Ikea brands, towels were 'hard' and linen basic. Cloakroom toilet and wash hand basin not much room to move you banged your head on the shelf above the sink when washing. The Shower was small too and had a 'fragrant' drain smell. Poorly painted wall in toilet which my husband described as being painted with a 'dead hen'....this may be the case as there are no longer chickens in the field ! Laminate flooring lifting in the living area, dining table has marks as too the dining chairs, all were terribly water stained. Sealant around cooker hob was a mess. Wall were dirty with wear and tear and cracks in plaster. This property is not big enough for 4 people as it suggests, as it stands it is not that comfortable for 2. £140 per night in my opinion I know, elsewhere, would give me luxury and at least a hot-tub. The owners need to revisit their business plan, this could be made into a lovely holiday home.

Amazing setting and lovely looking cottage. It was very quiet too. Surrounded by amazing apple and pear trees. The cottage has a veranda with stunning views, I could have sat there reading or painting all day long. There was everything you needed in the cottage, including lots of cleaning products which was great. The shower room and toilet were very clean. Ledbury is a really nice town too, and the cottage is within walking distance, which meant no need for buses or taxis into the town itself if you wanted to enjoy a couple of glasses of wine with dinner. There is also a fantastic walking trail which we really enjoyed, and our 8 year old son could ride his bike easily. All in all we had a fabulous stay at Orchard Cottage, and we would definitely stay again.

Some of the furniture was a little dated including the patio chairs on the veranda. Also, missed cleaning down the sides of the sofa, there was a lot of fluff and dust down there that we pulled out. Towels could do with an update too, some were looking a little tired. The glasswear didn't look like it had been cleaned very well either, so we washed the glasses etc before using them. Shower room was very small.
