Läget.

Inte värt pengarna. Hade Superior room, mycket trångt. Hade varit problem om vi varit två personer. Skamligt att ta 3€/dag för tillgång till kassaskåpet på ett 4-stjärningt hotell!! Är gratis på 3-stjärniga. Ingen kaffekokare. Inget strykjärn. Trist bröd vid frukosten. Finns 4-stjärigt hotell i området som är mer prisvärt. Sista gången på detta hotell.

Kleines, feines Hotel auf Mallorca

Sehr gute Strandlage, ruhig und trotzdem zentral, bis ins Zentrum gut zu laufen. Sehr freundliches Personal, stets bemüht zu helfen. Gutes Frühstück, Restaurant im Haus. Kleiner Pool mit von der Promenade nicht einsehbarem Liegebereich.

Die Türen waren sehr hellhörig, dadurch hörte man die anderen Gäste auf dem Gang sehr deutlich. Die Lage zum Flughafen war uns bewusst und hat nicht gestört.

We enjoyed a short stay and Hotel perfectly met our expections

We have stayed in the area before and I spotted this hotel last year as it has quite an unusual appearance. I found a photo that showed it was one of the first built in 1921. So stayed for 3 nights, pool area nicely secluded, staff all friendly our room had a good sized terrace, good air con and comfortable bed. The hotels location is brilliant being just across from the beach but feeling private for guests. As other guests have mentioned you can hire bikes or we have walked to the Cathedral early evening comfortably. Reception called a taxi for the airport.

Near airport and beach but outdated

The staff were friendly and helpful (lovely lady at the pool bar mid day) but this hotel just had an old school outdated vibe. Fine for a stay close by the airport but happy I was only there one night.

Lobby was dark, decor was old fashioned. My room was tiny and not stylish. It’s on the beach with a small pool and the price was ok for last minute but it really needs an update.

Not worth the huge price

The room smelt of mould, the aircon did not provide cool air. We had to pay 6.5 euros for 2 bottles of water as they did not provide any. The pillows were stuffed with lumpy fibres. And the mattress were like rock

noisy place

great location

I do want to throw the hotel under the bus because of obnoxious guests but the garden apartments have paper-thin walls. There was screaming until 3 am and we heard everything.

A superb hotel in wonderful Palma

Ciutat Jardi is a wonderful hotel. It is full of character: it was built in the 1920s in a Cuban style and is an oasis on the seafront in the east of Palma. You can literally walk out onto the beach, with a piazza that attracts families and locals. The hotel has loads of ambience and character, and is distinctly different from many of the other hotels in the area. The gardens are wonderful, with verdant planting, spotless and well-maintained. A lovely pool and plenty of space to spread out. Room was lovely - comfy bed, nice large bathroom, good facilities, including good outdoor space. Excellent housekeeping - rooms was cleaned to a very high standard every day. Beautiful food. Breakfasts were superb: comprehensive choices, beautifully presented, and set us up for the day. And lunch and dinner is also very good, with plenty of choices. Great facilities and services. We hired bikes, and were able to use the excellent cycle paths up and down the seafront. Highly authentic - a very Spanish area, also enjoyed the nearby bars, restaurants and gelateria. The team are wonderful. Everyone is smiles, chatty, and really seem to love working here, which is a key element of the friendly atmosphere. Very relaxing - the perfect place for R&R, nice and quiet at night. Ciutat Jardin is a quality place to stay - highly recommended.

Would book again.

Very friendly, helpful staff on reception and in dining room. Excellent breakfast buffet. Comfortable bed. Excellent location for beach. Nice walk along prom within comfortable distance to Es Molinar/ Potixol. Bus stop short distance away for access into Palma.

Pool small and pool area mostly shaded. Got a surprise when checking out at €3/day charge for safety deposit box in room. Balcony disappointing, not very private.

Great location and base for a short break

Good breakfast with lots of choice. Great location with short transfer from the airport, good transport links into the city and right on the beach.

Bathroom could use a bit of TLC and the bar could be open for a while longer in the evening.

hidden gem paradise on beach front barefoot

a few steps from the sea, just marvellous! comfy room, toiletries, good shower. mini bar. a bit old age pensioner vibe but just magic a step from cabana to the sandy beach. the hotel interior is old world meets chandeliers and glamour, and the staff are impeccable. a wonderful very much recommended stay. hidden gem!

Just great

Great and quiet place with an amazing view at the beach. Started the day with swimming in the sea. Breakfast was great too. We loved to sit at the open window and looking out at the palm trees. Rented a bike and rode to Palma to explore the city. In the evening I went jogging along the beach. Perfect place to calm down. Stayed there before we started our cruise. Staff at the reception was extremely helpful since it was the marathon weekend and we had to get to the cruise terminal in time.

Everything. starting with the building, one of the most beautiful in the area, we arrived at night and the atmosphere with the lights at the entrance and the garden, beautiful. the hotel has a lovely "private" vibe. rooms clean and with all the necessary, no surprises, just like in the pictures. the breakfast was perfect and with different options, couldn't say no to the cava, a pleasant surprise. the area is not noisy and you can truly relax. the team... what can we say. they made us feel as if we were regulars returning, of a touching simpathy and empathy. Tomas at the reception couldn't be a better host, he took great care of us, even after our checkout, no price for being treated with such kindness. if we visit again, we don't need to look further, we have found our election spot at hotel ciutat jardi. gracias a todos!
