Schöner Aufenthalt am Lago Maggiore

Schönes Hotel direkt am See.. Schiffsanlegestelle vor dem Hotel. Großes Zimmer mit großem Balkon und Seeblick.Sicherer Parkplatz. Reichlichen Frühstück. Wir waren zufrieden und würden wiederkommen

Super emplacement , La gentillesse et le professionnalisme du personnel , Le petit déjeuner copieux et varié, La piscine intérieure vraiment top, La Chambre spacieuse et bien agencée

La literie moyennement confortable (et je n'aime pas avoir 2 lits simples collés pour un lit double) L'insonorisation est à revoir car on entendait tout au dessus et aussi la chambre d'à côté mais heureusement les gens n'étaient pas trop bruyants

Good location, right by lake, pleasant helpful staff and good breakfast. Cafe by the ferry terminal didn't look much but the food was very good and the staff friendly 🙂

Insects, I was bitten but that's not the hotel's fault 🙁

Right next to the lake

The hotel is situated right next to the lake promenade and the Lido from where you can take boat tours to the islands. The center can be reached by a beautiful walk.

The air-conditioning is a bit old and can hence be difficult to operate, but in the end it worked.

Room with a view

Spacious room. Great view from balcony of the lake. Easy walk along lakeside to town. Many restaurants not far away. Breakfast staff very attentive and operate in many languages. Staff helpful with train strike issues.

Walking from station needed longer route as no footpaths on short route road. Instructions to find room in hotel could have been clearer. There was a big event on nearby island and the pass that would have helped us get past the police was not given out before the event. Electrical wiring cover in bathroom could be better secured to the wall. Light switches on wall inside bathroom near sink - but that is Italian electrics I assume.

Pleasant

very clean room & daily service. breakfast was very good. Nice balcony too. we were in the back part so the lake view is only partial & also you’re looking onto other rooms.

it’s a good 25 mins walk into Stressa. although for boat trips the location is great for visiting the 3 islands. Also there’s not much in the way of a bar! very limited not very appealing so don’t stay here if you want to go back to your hotel for a drink after a long day!

We expected more

- We parked there - Breakfast

- The view was not on the lake, I guess only a few rooms have that view - not very close to the center but doable on foot - we could only stay with the curtains because our window was on the hotel garden with other people there

Great hotel in a convenient location and very good value for money

Hotel Lido La Perla Nera is a charming hotel with the benefit of an indoor swimming pool. Breakfast had a very good selection and the balcony had a nice view. Staff were helpful and friendly. The hotel is ideally situated for the Carciano ferry port and has a fantastic lake side restaurant within a few metres. Rooms were a good size and very clean. I like to have 2 pillows and nothing was too much trouble for them.

There wasn't really anything that I would have improved.

Nice hotel but it can be a little bit refreshed. Breakfast good but the same every day. Cose to lake, boats, but far away from centru. Nice personal

Right on the lake

The hotel is right on the lake. To get to downtown Stresa you can walk the breathtaking panorama walk, it takes about 20 to 30 minutes. The rooms had everything we needed, including a nice balkony with direct access to the garden and view of the gardens and a tiny bit of the lake. The staff was very friendly and the breakfast had a big selection, including different joices of free-from-products. We really enjoyed our stay.

excellent location right across from the boat stop, quiet, free parking, lovely small indoor pool, wonderful spacious bathroom, nice garden, lovely lounge, good AC

a bit too much chlorine in the swimming pool, bed was a bit hard (though my husband loved it) and breakfast lacks a bit of variety of fresh things (lots of gluten-free things though)

Enjoyable stay at the hotel, met expectations for staying in Stresa.

Very central location on the Lido, where the boats leave for island tours. Short walk to downtown.

Good starting point fo visitint Borromeo islands and evening walks on the promenade.

Good location with views on Isola Bella and only a short walk to Stresa promenade. One of few hotels having indoor pool. Many restaurants around.

Great, reasonably priced place to stay in Stresa.

Staff was friendly and helpful.

I did not realize the hotel was located behind the tram building which blocked the lake view. The room was comfortable and we enjoyed the outside patio despite the view of the tram building!

Nice stay

The location is good next to the boat station that takes you to the Islands. Staff friendly and helpful, recommended a great restaurant in a village next by. Rooms are clean and comfy. Breakfast was ok as well

Great location, walking distance to center. Boat access for lake just in front of hotel.

Beds were a bit uncomfortable. Better towels would help too.

Awesome!

Great hotel, run by a wonderful team of people, from the receptionists to the people serving breakfast and the cleaning ladies. Also a special thanks to the nightguards. The breakfast was awesome and I even could park my car in the garden. I highly recommend this hotel!
