Great spot for a solo traveler, family of four, or anything in between. A brand new memory foam king size bed will ensure a great night's sleep. Large closet provides plenty of space for belongings. Desk in master bedroom adds room to work (if you must). A double futon and couch in the living room can be made into more sleeping space. One bathroom, eat-in kitchen, and nice living room with brand new smart TV lets you to stream your favorite shows. DVD player, videos, and cable are also provided. Great back deck with outdoor kitchen furniture provides more space to enjoy the mountain air, eat a meal, or work on your laptop. Charcoal grill is available too! Plenty of parking above or below house. Coffee-maker, Keurig, dishwasher, and all dinnerware are provided. The expansive level backyard is perfect for a fire, horseshoes, or a game of frisbee or bocce ball. Get a real taste of mountain solitude with easy access to all of Western North Carolina's hot spots. An easy 15 minutes to Biltmore Estate and downtown Asheville. Want a low-key day in the mountains? Then Whistle Hop Brewery, Trout Lily Market, and The Local Joint are within a 4-minute drive. Hop on the Blue Ridge Parkway, just 10 minutes away. Need a day of self-care? Then Shoji Retreat (Japanese inspired spa) is only 17 minutes away. The picturesque Hickory Nut Gap Farm is only 8 minutes away, and beyond that are Bat Cave, Chimney Rock, and Lake Lure offering great hiking, boating, and mountain views.

Nice little spot! Has everything you need and the bed was very comfortable. There was plenty of things to cook with, and there was coffe and other small things provided. I would definitely stay again!!

and beyond in making sure that her guests have everything they should want or need. The king size bed was more comfortable than my own at home.
I've vacationed in many vacation homes and Eleanor is the best, most thoughtful host I have encountered.

Eleanor has thought of everything! The kitchen is stocked with some basics and guests can leave shareables like condiments and bread! It was so nice after a long drive to have food available. The cabin was well marked and easy to navigate to. There are plenty of blankets, towels, and toiletries! The bed was very comfortable and check out instructions quite easy. Thank you!

Charming, scrupulously clean, well appointed. Easy check-in. Not exactly a "mountain" cabin, more cabinesh in the burbs. A little difficult to find, the road looks like it ends but curves around to the right. Once we figured that out it was pretty simple. Enjoyed our stay, would stay again.

Very clean cabin with well stocked kitchen for cooking meals. Very spacious for two people. Good water pressure in the shower. Good WiFi and TV service. Five minute drive to Food Lion for groceries. Ten minute drive to the wonderful Whistle Hop Brewery and 15 minute drive to Asheville and Blue Ridge Parkway. We enjoyed our stay!

Eleanor's cabin was very clean and cozy. The bed was comfy and there were plenty of blankets and pillows. We enjoyed a campfire in the backyard. Great location close to Asheville and good restaurant choices.

Nice living space. Good size kitchen, king bed and walk in closet, super living area. Allows for outdoor activity when weather and time permit. Grill, fire pit, deck. We’d love to stay again on our next trip down

This place was a great find. Everything we needed was at the home, it was super cute and very well kept. The lot backs up to woods and we were able to have a nice breakfast on the back deck. Only a 15 min drive to Asheville so very close as well. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a getaway.

This is hands down my favorite rental I’ve ever stayed at. The cabin is so cute! The indoor decor is cozy, very homey. We loved the large kitchen (that was fully stocked). The layout is perfect for a couple on opposite sleep schedules. I was able to get up early and read/prepare breakfast while my husband slept in. The front porch is perfect for sitting with a cup of coffee and the back porch is quite spacious. The neighbors are close, however they never bothered us. They do have a few dogs that will bark to greet you, but they calm down once they realize you’re going to stay off their property. The host is gracious and very responsive. We have zero complaints and will definitely stay here again.

The location was perfect, the house was set up so great. We had everything we needed for the week. Grocery store a mile away, and great location to get anywhere you need. The house was perfect for our needs. Two days before our vacation our dog tore both of his ACLs, the vet gave us the green light to still bring him on vacation, and the house was perfect for him. I needed to work and was able to do that seamlessly. The wifi worked great. We spent some time by the fire one evening and that was lovely. The kitchen was great to use throughout the week and we even fired up the grill. Thank you for everything! We absolutely would stay again.

We loved everything about this stay… it was too short…. Wish we could have stayed longer. Such a great location for the Asheville area. Cabin was clean and comfy… plus a lot of thoughtful extras. How to revisit soon.

Wonderful stay with our dogs! This cabin is more of a cottage inside. We were very comfortable and had everything we needed. We could even walk to.our favorite brewery:) i recommend this place with no hesitation if you are visiting the Asheville area!

The whole process was extremely easy. The fridge and cupboards were well stocked. The bathrooms and kitchen had everything that we needed for the stay. There was a TV, an essential oil, diffuser, and a record player that added to the ambience of the little cabin. Great location very near Asheville.

This is one of the best vacation rentals in which my husband and I and our two dogs have stayed. From the moment we walked in the door, it felt like home. The location is great and it is very peaceful. Everything was clean, and it was beautifully decorated. We spent most evenings on the back deck enjoying the scenery and peace.The kitchen is well stocked. There are several restaurants nearby with good food. We would highly recommend the Bar and restaurant at the Local Joint. Our waiter, Jay, was great. The Food Lion grocery store less than a mile away had everything we needed for our meals. We will definitely stay here in the future.

We stayed 6 nights. It was cozy and had everything we needed. We came w 2 dogs; one a senior w mobility problems. It worked out perfectly for all 4 of us. Highly recommended! We will probably be back

The place had everything we needed. Fairview was smaller town than we expected but a grocery store was very close and a quaint Mexican restaurant just down the road. Fairly convenient to the highways which connected us to all the hotspots like Biltmore and Lake Lure.

this property had everything we wanted: peace and quiet, away from the hustle and bustle, as well as easy quick access to Asheville and mountain hikes in the area. The host provided so many little extras that were a very pleasant surprise. We enjoyed the cottage, the front and back decks, and the yard. It was perfect for the two of us.

Eleanors place was perfect! The home was extremely clean and well taken care of and we really enjoyed sitting out on the back deck and enjoying the peace and quiet of the surrounding woods. Eleanor thought of everything and has great taste in decor and music. We loved that we could bring our dog with us and we were able to walk to few nearby restaurants and brewery in Fairview (we really enjoyed the Local Joint, Lilly Trout Market, and the Whistle Hop Brewery). The location was great as it is away from all the traffic of downtown but still just a 15 minute drive or uber ride to Asheville and there are tons of places to hike, bike, and kayak nearby. We are so happy that we booked this VRBO. Thank you Eleanor!

We were excited to find this cute pet friendly cabin in a convenient location near Asheville and Hendersonville. The decor is uplifting and there are plenty of little extras that made our stay feel like home. The king bed was very comfortable and the futon was too. We appreciated the large yard to walk our dog around. The neighbor is very close on one side, but we did not see them at all. We really enjoyed the beautiful flowers that were blooming, including one placed in a vase inside to welcome us!
