Definitely recommend

Location was perfect for a picturesque stay in Gargano. Michele was a very welcoming host as well. Would definitely stay longer and felt sad to leave this beautiful place.

Our time here was magical, from mountains to beaches to dinner in town to ancient cathedrals..

The view is incredible! The property grounds are beautiful. The landscaping is gorgeous, the pool is super clean and not crowded. It overlooks the Adriatic Sea, with seating where you can relax and watch the moon rise. You definitely need a car, but everything you could want is close by. The staff is over-the-top friendly and helpful. The room is stocked with just about anything you could need.

It wasn't an issue because it was warm when we visited, but the bed only has a sheet for a blanket. I definitely used my blanket I brought on the plane. Not a big deal, but just a heads up to future guests.

Pleasant

Lovely view from hotel grounds. Nice renovated bathroom.

I did not realize that sheets and towels cost an extra (?!) and the breakfast was very overpriced for something very minimal. The owner does not speak English and was difficult to communicate with via Whatsap. We were there during the Low-season and the place was nearly empty but they still gave us a suite with a mediocre view.

Gorgeous views, privacy and quiet, great location.

Fabulous location with view of the Adriatic. Lovely breakfast served on the terrace. Roomy, comfy apartment with lots of privacy. Washing machine and detergent were available for use -very convenient. Mattinatella beach was a 5-10 minute drive away and in early October we had it all to ourselves. The water temperature was lovely - not exactly warm, but pleasant enough to go in four times for about 15 minutes each. Lovely hosts Michele and Anna made us feel very welcome. An exquisitely laid out property. Quiet. It was a great location from which to do day trips to Vieste and Monte Sant’Angelo.

The construction and interior of the apartment is quite modern, but like many places in Italy there is no ventilation in the bathroom, so when we arrived there was a musty smell, but this dispersed after leaving the doors open for awhile. We stayed four days.

We loved our stay here and would have no hesitation recommending it

The host Michele arranged to meet us on the main road to the property as it may have been difficult to find and our flight was delayed so it was after midnight when he kindly came out and guided us to his property. The apartments are in a lovely setting and the layout is beautiful so you don't feel overlooked. The pool is large, clean and has many comfortable sunbeds, parasols and seating areas. The breakfast is €12 per person per day with a selection of fruit, yoghurt, pastries, bread and conserves, tea or coffee and orange juice all beautifully served and very fresh. The grounds are well maintained and exceptionally clean with many comfortable seating areas with stunning views of the mountains and the sea. There were mesh blinds on the windows which were very welcome because the mosquitos were prevalent and particularly liked the taste of our blood - unfortunately this caused us problems sitting out on the balcony but we purchased various anti-mosquito candles etc and would advise other guests to bring them too. The balcony was spacious and well set up with table, chairs and a two seater bench - we had a view of the sea which was beautiful at nightime with the moon rising over it. There was also a clothes drying rack, brush, mop, wash up liquid and drying cloths provided. As cat lovers we were very happy to see there are cats around which we loved they are timid so if you don't like cats they won't come near you however we were glad to see them and bought some cat kibble which hey appreciated - hopefully other cat loving guests will keep up the feeding!.

The only thing we felt was missing was that the kitchen didn't have a microwave nor a toaster or kettle. We liked to stay at the pool for the day and have lunch in our apartment but with only a stove top it meant we were a bit restricted eating in.

We have just departed from "Montelci Residence" after staying there for an incredible 9 days. The place offers 12 apartments, immaculately clean and comfortable. It is located in the midst of an endless olive grove, overlooking the Adriatic sea. Truly heaven. The swimming pool is just wonderful - clean and never too crowded. Michele's unique touch could be felt all around the residence. Nikola is the ultimate host- he speaks English, French, and German, and he is keen on helping and giving superb local recommendations. We would love to come back again. Grazie Mille to Michele,Mariangela, Nikola, and their wonderful family!

A wonderful place, we found it even better than on the pictures. We had a three-bedroom appartment, quiet, extremely clean and great view on the Adriatic. Very pleasant host and amazing pool. The region is beautiful, we liked most the Vignanotica beach.

An exceptional location, quiet with all necessary facilities, parking, wifi. Each house gives you privacy, with a small garden and your own olive tree. The pool is a blessing after a hot summer day. Generous breakfast with a wonderful view of the sea. Thank you Michele for a wonderful holiday !

Great place to explore and relax

Amazing place with great view and really nice amenities. The flat is decorated very well and everything was.amazingly clean. It's very convenient to visit the area. Michele was a terrific host, making our stay so comfortable and preparing fresh and homemade breakfast! There is even a playground for kids with view! Definitely would come back !

Stunning sea view, pool and endless olive trees

Everything, very nice apartment (new), nice garden, view to sea, pool, breakfast, owner shared recommendations where to eat and park

Some other guests (next to our apartment) were disrespectful and noisy. The price offer was really good for what it is, this can easily attract low class people, I guess. We stayed 4 nights and there was no cleaning (which was still ok). Pool bar service is missing but you have a fridge in your apartment :)

Place to come again

We were in love with this place from the beginning. The residence is located in a picturesque place 5 minutes by car from famous beaches and 15 from Mattianata. We were met by Michele, who helped us to find a place and showed everything. Our apartment was very cozy and super clean.

Would be good to add sponge and liquid to the kitchen.

A whole mountain of olive groves!

What a peaceful place on earth with great relaxed hosts. It would be great for families who look into discovering the Gargano/Mattinata area with its beaches and national parks over many days. Unfortunately we only stayed one night on the way to Lecce. We will return with pleasure.

Superb

Very clean and beautiful place! The room itself was practical and clean. Everything was new, as it seemed. Hospitality is certainly applicable for this place and Michel makes sure you have everything you need. Even made a reservation for me at a restaurant. At night it is very quiet and you can enjoy peace and quiet. During the day you can relax at the place itself as it is quite spacious and there is a swimming pool.

Personally, it was hard for me to find the place. I think I drove past it two or three times before actually finding it. But might be something with my GPS signal. Also, in the residence itself it can be a bit noisy. I could hear my upper neighbors going to the shower e.g. Furthermore, supermarket is very far from location itself.

A wonderful place to unwind

The property is located on a hillside overlooking a valley with olive trees that leads to a bay. The apartments are dotted on the hill, giving each a sense of privacy. From the cafe, you overlook the pool and terrace and have a stunning view across the bay. The rooms were modern, comfortable and very clean. Breakfast is recommended, it comes with fresh fruit and other nice treats. All in all, this is a fantastic place to unwind, with the best part still to come: the wonderful staff, who give the place its atmosphere and add a personal touch to your stay. We will return.
