Enjoyed the location close to Mount Ellen but we were surprised at the quantity of beds in Bedroom 1. We expected 2 beds as listed on VRBO and instead found a double bed with trundle. This could have caused us a problem if we added a 4th person to our trip expecting to have a second full bed in bedroom 1. Using the trundle would have made that bedroom very small. The listing is correct on Vacasa's website but I found this listing through Expedia which listed it's connection to VRBO. Vacasa should get VRBO to fix the listing. Not knowing about Vacasa also ended up costing an extra $100 for fees to VRBO for basicly doing nothing.

This place was in a great location. For evening entertainment bring either games or a streaming stick. Cable had only a few channels

Place was very clean. Great views. Beds were very comfortable. Only problem was TV in wrong place. It was on a shelf in a cubby on the very right side and every one had to sit on the right side of the room to really see it. It also only had 6 channels. Good thing we brought games and books! Accept for that, we had a very good time! Will definitely stay there again.

Location and building was picture perfect. Unit rented had a lot left to desire.

The area is very scenic and well located for a quiet weekend getaway yet close to the town or Waitstaff with several restaurants. The public area is very nice as well with a pool and nearby tennis court. Our particular condo was adequate although small for the cost. The entire unit could use a new coat of paint. Beds in the second room were not comfortable. Communication with manager was excellent. We have stayed at similar properties in VT

This place was well stocked and very clean. Pool and tennis court was great. Plenty of space for the 4 of us and the view was amazing!

Overall the place was clean, and it does have the bare minimum amenities needed for living, but that’s about it. Check-in was east and straightforward, and management responded quickly when we accidentally locked ourselves out. However, there’s no AC, and only a couple (broken) box fans, so if you plan to visit in the summer, prepare to be hot! Not just during the day, but all night too! In fairness this complex was built long before changes in the earth’s climate made 90+ temps in the Green Mountains for days and weeks on end a regular occurrence. However, there are a number of relatively inexpensive things the owner could do to greatly improve air flow and comfort inside the unit during the summer. Most of the windows were very hard to open, and the bedroom windows are on ground level, so not everyone is going to be comfortable leaving them wide open at night, especially with bears and such around. As I mentioned, the only source of air movement were two box fans, both of which had broken blades causing them to wobble uncontrollably and fall over. Luckily we borrowed some additional fans from family, but some ceiling fans in the bedrooms would be a huge improvement. Aside from the heat the unit was generally fine, but it was very dated and in need of refreshing as mentioned in most of the reviews. I’m sure this would be a great minimalist winter condo since the location is fantastic, but we probably wouldn’t stay again during the summer without some of the above improvements listed above.

Location and layout were great. As others have said the unit is very dated and screamed rental and is in dire need of renovation. Must say that the place was very clean when we arrived!

The check-in process was easy, the property was clean and cozy, located close to Waitsfield and tons of great hiking

Snowside unit 22 was spacious and clean. Like others commented before us, there is limited seating in the living room area of just a futon. There could be an extra single chair/seat in there. The kitchen must be original to the 1970s.

Great 2 bedroom condo that was well equipped and just perfect for our family of 5! Very close to Mt Ellen, we did not walk as too much for our young kids but loved that it was just a couple of minutes by car! Great views from the condo! We will definitely come back!

Everything was mid. At least twice someone was close to hurt from a faulty chair. Bedding needs to be updated. Upon arrival there was down all over the upper bunks, then it snowed down on my children at night.
All that said it fit our needs, just had to hear some bitchin from my teenagers.

Secluded condo complex just a short walk from the base of Mt Ellen base lodge. In winter you will want all wheel drive or better. The unit has not seen upgrades in a while, but has everything you need including a well equipped kitchen. Good value in a nice location.

My kids and I loved staying in this unit - it provided us with the much needed space to relax and unwind together. The unit and everything in it was very clean. The beds were a little older and didn't provide much support, and as other reviewers mentioned, there is limited seating available in the living room area, but otherwise this was a lovely spot and we would return.

We really enjoyed our stay. The condo is very clean and cozy but it needs renovation. The cabinets and stove in the kitchen are very old and the floors are squeaky. There is also no hair dryer (although it's mentioned in the listing) and no AC. Heat works perfectly as well as gas fireplace.
The best part of the apartment is the view. So it's suprizing and very inconvenient that there are no furniture on the balcony.

There was no AC; description said climate controlled.
There was no hair dryer; which was listed, deeper, in the amenities listing.
BUT, we had great breezes most nights, with the windows open.
Beautiful view of the mountains, from the deck!

Clean beautiful property BUT 6 person sleeping but one couch! Sits 3! Need some more chairs. Also only 3 basic TV channels. Great place but time to get to 2021

As one visitor noted, the living room area could be more comfortable with more seating. Most of the furniture needs to be updated, and the toilet handle broke the night we arrived. The best part of this condo is the sunlight streaming in every morning, and it was very warm. And it's so easy to walk to the lifts at Mt Ellen which we love. For the price and cleanliness, it's worth the visit.

Great location. Simple accommodations
We had a great winter break w kids skiing. You could walk to the MT ellen lifts if you wanted to. Place was clean and cozy for our family of 5. The views across the valley are beautiful from the unit.
Only complaints are there is only one futon for seating and you could definitely fit two other small chairs for people coming off the mountain to relax on. Both bath tubs didn’t hold water. Drains broken and the water was rusty when I filled it to give our young daughter a bath. Other than that great stay!
