Terrible and scary

Terrible experience. Pictures are good on the web but the property sucks. We had a Mountain View room (no. 104). This room had water leaking from the ceiling in the room near mirror and in the bathroom. The bed had moulds everywhere, and bed linen was smelling all the time. When we complained the first night no one paid attention until we started developing cough and sneezes the next morning. At last 2nd night Susanth fixed another property called Easternwoods hotel, for us but we didn’t get our breakfast there, which we already paid for in Kollanoor. The kollanoor homestay stinks and it’s super dirty. Nobody deserves such an experience.

The guest house was pretty comfortable. The caretaker, Francis was very friendly and helpful. He didn't say no to anything. The view from the balcony was heavenly. I would highly recommend this place for a vacation.

Location is perfect View is amazing, facility provides excellent breakfast of local cuisine. Lunch or dinner option not available as cook comes only to prepare breakfast.

Calm, Mesmerizing, Family Friendly Stay

Property is located in a natural habitat. Amazing view of the valley. Small infinity pool and Swing are excellent touch to take a photo. Staff and owners are very humble and nice to interact with. Overall stay was very warm and comfortable. They have 2 dogs which are very friendly to play.

The location of the Guest house is very beautiful you can watch the sunset from the balcony of the stay the rooms are veryneat and clean the staff is also very helpful they take care of your every needs and makes you fell like you are at home only. The breakfast they provided was also very tasty and delicious. And not forget the swing is very awesome you can sit on it and have a beautiful view of the mountains and clouds the plunge pool was also very nice.

Perfect.

Breakfast was great. View was beautiful. Some rooms have a beautiful view but even rooms which do not have a direct view from their window have very easy and short access to a verandah with a spectacular view. Francis, who stays there and assists with service, helped us out with everything. Great service, great location. Good food.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Kollanoor guest house and I must say it was an incredible experience. From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by the warm and welcoming atmosphere of the hotel. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, going out of their way to make sure that my stay was as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. They were always on hand to answer any questions I had, and they were happy to provide recommendations for local attractions and restaurants. The room itself was absolutely stunning. It was spacious and beautifully decorated, with all of the amenities that I could possibly need. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and I slept like a baby every night. One of the things that really stood out to me about this hotel was the attention to detail. Everything was meticulously clean and well-maintained, and it was clear that the staff took great pride in their work. The hotel also had some amazing facilities, including a playing area and a swimming pool. I spent some time in the playing area during my stay, and it was an incredibly relaxing experience. . Overall, I would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a luxurious and comfortable stay. The staff were amazing, the facilities were top-notch, and the attention to detail was truly impressive. I can't wait to come back and stay here again!

Location is great on top of a hill overlooking a valley and rows of mountains. The rooms were clean, very comfortable, and the staff was amazing. They went over and beyond to help make our stay enjoyable. Exceptional care extended from Sushanth and team. Definitely a must do if you are looking for a good time..

Absolutely loved it.

The property is in an amazing location. The owners are friendly. Special mention to Francis who take care of us during our stay. I had a special request for an anniversary celebration and he responded to it in a short duration. The property is good, clean, and closeby to city attractions. There is a beautiful swing, an amazing campfire, and a barbeque spot on the property.

The water in pool can be maintained better and a dustbin in room would make it perfect.

Substandard for the price paid. But great views

View was amazing

There was dust and dirt all around the property. The food provided was cold and in edible although it did cost the usual average amount. The staff was untrained in hospitality and although they were trying their best the service was not great. The steps down to the rooms were very steep and dangerous for use by children and older people. They could’ve done a lot more to make the place more hospitable and inviting. There was absolutely no decor or even comfortable cushions with plastic chairs scattered all over. The plants used for decoration were drying out and neglected. The staff was more interested in watching television downstairs in the non-communal area rather than keeping the rooms ready for our arrival. We had to even request soaps and towels. The balcony walls hard spot stains and disgusting looking into the dirt down stairs.
