An open plan living area flows outside into a lovely, sun drenched, fully fenced outdoor space with a stone pizza oven. A perfect family getaway house with lots of room for the kids to play. Take a stroll along the beach to Omanu Surf Club and grab a morning coffee from George Cafe. Only a short drive to downtown Mount Maunganui and Bayfair Mall The Space: Private, fully fenced property with two outside showers. The outdoor area is beautiful and sunny for you to enjoy an afternoon BBQ or home made pizzas in the stone pizza oven. This property is excellently located a few kilometres between the Main Mount strip, Tay Street Café, Baywave pools and Bayfair shopping centre where you can enjoy the new restaurants, bars and shopping! Take a short walk to Omanu, our locally patrolled beach. There you will find Omanu shops for morning coffee at George cafe, takeaways for the evening, a liquor store and dairy for all your basic necessities. You can park one car in the garage and one outside the property beside the house and there is off street parking available. The Neighborhood: Marvellous Mount Maunganui A favourite amongst travellers young and old……..a brilliant base for everyone with so much to do and so much to explore….. you’ll be left with wanting more. Located in the fabulous Bay of Plenty, Mount Maunganui is famous for its endless white sand beach, year-round surf, Pilot Bay Harbour and beautiful Mauao. At the end of the peninsula the iconic Mauao stands elegantly at 230 meters tall. Everyone has the option of taking a leisurely stroll around the flat base. The more adventurous will have fun reaching the top and be rewarded with the spectacular 360-degree views. Downtown Mount you’ll find a laid-back strip of shops, bars & restaurants that offer all day dining most with alfresco tables…….Pick up a treat or souvenir from one of the locally owned boutiques, enjoy an ice cream or coffee, browse one of the weekly markets or soak yourself in one of the salt water hot pools or treat yourself to a papering session at one of the spas. Pilot Bay offers sheltered year-round swimming and kayaking. Picnic on the grassy shore & watch the fishermen launch their boats and cargo ships come and go. Head to main beach where new surfers can grab a lesson and watch the more experienced catch a wave or two. If the wind is up the kite surfers will be out in force. Or just chill and enjoy a refreshing swim. Keen golfers have the choice of two world class courses…..Summer or Winter there’s no excuse not to get the clubs out. For groceries you’ll find an accessible New World at Central Parade along with cafe's, bike shops and a slick city eatery. 10 minutes’ drive away is the recently upgraded Bay Fair shopping centre with 150 shops and restaurants and the new United seven screen cinema (opens August 2020). Bay Wave offers a fun day indoors in the largest pool in the Bay. Complete with wave machine, kiddies play pools and giant slide. Whatever you love to do you will be guaranteed to make fond and lasting memories here in in the marvellous Mount! We had such a lovely stay here and wished we could have stayed for longer. It was beautifully laid out and decorated, so close to the beach (you can see the beach from the deck) and impeccably clean. Highly recommend.

We loved staying at this property, it was great for young children with the fully fenced deck & garden, the layout of the house works well and we enjoyed the open plan kitchen and living areas. The house was very clean and presented to a high standard, and communication was excellent, with check-in instructions given and questions answered in a timely manner. We would definitely stay here again!

This well maintained home had a great location! There’s a short walk to the beach and we were in walking distance to our daughters house. Clean and modern with comfortable beds! We were only in town a few nights but would stay here again in the future!

Honestly the weather was perfect so it made this holiday super special. The house was large for a family of 4, clean, tidy, central. All the amenities you need. We thought the house was on the beach but it was one house back and access to beach was a couple of houses along the road but they was the only thing we were slightly surprised about. 4.95 out of 5. Would definitely book again!

This home was perfect for our Family of 5. It’s clean, well maintained and the communication with the property manager was excellent. The location was also excellent. So close to the beach (you had to look pretty hard through the neighbour’s trees to get a peak of the sea, but the sound and the ocean smell was enough to remind you how close you really are). The layout of the house allowed plenty of space for the Family and the furnishings made it very comfortable. Only 1 bathroom but the double rain head shower with plenty of pressure made up for it. A great stay!
