The property was in a good location- close to Mission Bay.

The driveway was extremely steep - we just made it up in our 4WD. if raining, it can’t be accessed with a standard vehicle. This is important information that should be shared in the property general information. We couldn’t enjoy the outside area because there was no shade! Needed an umbrella or sail as it was far too hot. Was very disappointed as was our main reason for choosing this property. Also the lawn hadn’t been mowed so the area looked unsightly. The general amenities such as bathroom soap and dishwashing liquid hadn’t been topped up. Only 1cm’s worth in each bottle. My daughter moved the bed (to make it) and found 2 pairs of woman’s underwear under the bed! We received far too many automated messages, texts, emails from Houst. Almost 20 for our 2 night stay - before, during and after. Definitely prefer to deal with “real people”.

We would like our cleaning fee refunded as the pace was not clean at all on our arrival. Dust dirt. Full rubbish bins. Grim in kitchen etc

Close to waterfront (easy walk), quiet neighbourhood considering closeness of homes. House is attached to another however it was no problem. Good value stay considering Auckland prices. It suited us as it was central to the places we needed to go.

Driveway was not possible to drive up if ground damp and you don’t have a 4wd. We tried! No TV. Thought that would be standard, I should have read fine print so my fault. Ants! Lots of ants. Cleaner who was there when we arrived said there warned us and left us ant bait. Could not leave any food out at all therefore we didn’t use kitchen as didn’t want to have to deal with them. No curtain coverings in lounge and paint tape still around all the windows. Otherwise all good!
