What a wonderful place to stay for a weekend getaway. A very short drive to Coles Bay, the National Park and everything else you need. Strongly recommend!

WiFi wasn't great inside (didn't work) but as soon as I went out, it was a bit better. You don't really need it if you're only staying for the night, but sometimes it was a bit of a struggle.

Comfortable large studio (or small FSC one bedroom apartment), but plenty of space, comfortable furniture/bed and everything on hand. Ros and Tim were super helpful, friendly and welcoming - a real home away from home. Parking at the door, quiet central location (walk to the beach, short drive to popular walks, visitor centre and eateries), well-equipped kitchen. Fantastic photos on the walls - it's worth asking Tim about them if you're interested in photography.

The wifi was a little patchy but was ok 90% of the time.

Comfortable accommodation with basic cooking facilities and close to the national park. Beds were comfortable and good clean bathroom facilities.

The property was quiet and private. There was parking right outside the door and the property was easily accessible from the car space. A small but warm courtyard helped get the hand washing dry. A heated towel rail and electric blanket made showering and bedtime very comfortable.

There was really nothing that we didn't like about this property.

No breakfast. Apartment was very well appointed.

Host was lovely and gave us some tips for the area. Facilities were clean and the area was very close to the Freycinet attractions.

Mobile data coverage very weak in the area and the wifi provided kept dropping in and out as it appeared to be shared with the main property. In future it might be beneficial to have an wifi extension in the studio itself.

clean and comfortable

Very close to everything about 5 mins drive, national park, walks, beaches, shop, tavern. It was very private. There was TV for rainy evenings. Basic cooking facilities. Good fridge, kitchenette, heating. A few basic supplies in the cupboard like salt, pepper, oil, pasta for cooking. There is a mini mart 5 mins away. 30 mins to winery.

Would be good to get heads up to book wineglass bay boat trip well in advance as it was booked out. It was a small space to be rained in for 2 of our 3 days. Had to drive to restaurants. It was perfect for self catering.

Close to sights we wanted to see. Comfortable bed. Very clean. Host very responsive to questions and extremely helpful.

The host Tim was very kind in greeting us personally and giving some local recommendations, including photography tips for my partner. It really gave the place that country hospitality feel

Hazards Escape is located in a beautiful part of the Tasmanian east coast and provides easy access to the Freycinet Peninsula and Wineglass Bay areas, The accommodation provided is quiet, well appointed and covered all our needs and then some! It was so easy to access and our hosts were very helpful. The set up is perfect for a couple and very restful.

The property is in an area some kms out from the main Coles Bay village meaning every item needed from shops etc means a car drive however, the peaccefulness of the location more than makes up for the minor inconvenience.

Wonderful accommodation and lovely hosts. Ros and Tim were super helpful and made us very welcome. Would definitely recommend for a relaxing time away!
