An absolutely beautiful cottage right in the heart of a gorgeous part of the city. Easy walking distance to theatres, restaurants, pubs, and bars but so quiet! Cosy, comfortable, and clean. The instructions given by the host are perfect and made for a very smooth stay. As others have mentioned, the parking space is tight but fine if you're in a little car like we were. We'll definitely be back again!

Walking distance into the city. Character filled house.
Sadly the property could do with some attention...
On arrival the fridge was disgusting with food still in it from previous Tennants. There was a few tea bags, coffee and sugar but they were also dirty.
The plates mugs and glasses were filthy.
The floors need a good clean.
It just feels a bit empty and it was clear things have been broken and not replaced

Great neighbourhood! The location was ideal for visiting the city centre on foot. Norwich is full of intetesting restaurants, tea/coffe houses and activities. The house is well maintained and nicely decorated. It appears to have good kitchen facilities, though we didn't use much. The living space was very comfortable. Full of character!
The parking would have been handy for a smaller car - I had to move the car on the second day and decided to use the city car park instead, which is very close to the house so not too bad - just not free!
The stairs were not a problem for us, thankfully, but might be for folks with small kids or mobility issues.

Facilities available in cottage & Glass floor with view of well below
Upper stairs a bit steep but manageable, one of the sofas is a bit too spongy with no support as sink into it too much.
Parking space very tight so only ideal if you have a medium or small car as need to park it close to the wall for neighbours to get access to their vehicles.

easy check in and out - Hosts were very helpful - internet worked well - lots of streaming options on tv (no Disney plus but most other streaming options were there so this was not a problem) - neighbourhood was quiet most of the time (neighbours were noisy on our last evening there but all other times there was no noise from outside) - shower unit worked well - lounge was comfy and spacious - hosts left a helpful sheet with plenty of information and responded quickly to any queries - everything we used in kitchen worked well - house was right temperature on floors 2 and 3 ground floor could be cold at times but didn't make much of a difference as wasn't on that floor much
the pole fixing the shower head to the wall was set very short and very difficult to adjust also the pole was fixed to the wall very poorly so when adjusting felt like it was about to come off - this is not really anyones fault as its an old probably listed building but if you are over 6 foot you will definitely bump your head stairs and door ways are very low - some of the items in kitchen seemed like an odd choice for instance we had a tray to baking tray for muffins but not trays so you could eat in the lounge where the tv is - could do with more storage space/table top/worktop in rooms or storage space not to be unusable (one room the only storage space was filled up with a portable bed - huge mirrors everywhere made me very nervous about them falling off but this is not a fault just my personal taste - floors uneven but again this is probably uncontrollable as an old building and probably listed

Location excellent for visiting the City of Norwich. Probably the best preserved Tudor City in the UK, together with a Norman Cathedral and Castle and Britain's largest outdoor market. Whilst it may be a bit of a journey to get there, it is precisely because it is slightly 'out of the way' (despite being a City of 175,000+) that makes it quite so wonderful and generally unspoilt. If you like Churches - and good pubs - you will be spoilt for choice.
It's not a don't like as such, as the on-site car park space is useful, but if you are a slightly nervous driver or have anything above an average sized car you may be best advised to use the local car parks as as access to the space is somewhat tight - as the space itself.

Great location, spacious rooms and lovely features. Nice and clean!
Very tight and limited parking and the nearby recommended car park is coins only which is inconvenient for a whole weekend.

The living space was excellent - large dining and sitting rooms and a properly equipped kitchen. The sitting room is particularly caracterful with lots of light and space, comfy sofas and an old mantelpiece. It's close enough to the centre of Norwich to benefit from all the attractions, bars and restaurants with plenty of good places to eat within a 5 minute walk. The bedrooms were comfortable and there was always hot water. The glass pane in the floor by the downstairs loo allows views of the well which was a talking point! The hosts answered our queries promptly which was really good too.
We had an issue collecting the keys which were not in the location specified by the host. Fortunately, they responded promptly and the matter was resolved without too much issue. The stairs were very steep, but that's to be expected in an old building but they might cause issues for those with limited mobility. The car parking space is fine but the lane is very narrow and a bit of a challenge - but the hosts are clear about this. Hand towels would have been good.

Very interesting house, we enjoyed staying there. It was well fitted out, with good facilities and very comfortable.
We did not like having to kneel in a puddle on the pavement on a cold wet evening to reach the key box located under the doorstep! Not a good start to our visit.
Also, the radiator in the main bedroom would not turn off. As we like a cool bedroom this was a bit of a nuisance and a waste of energy

Great location in (a nice part of) central Norwich. Quiet, nicely kept and comfortable. Everything I needed was there. I did also work from the cottage quite comfortably. Really loved it and would very much like to stay again for future visits but I do see availability is a challenge - I was actually quite sad to have to move to a hotel due to lack of availability.Really felt like a home from home, and in my home town too.
Oh, and the well in the hallway! If the owners know more about the history of that (or the house in general) it would be a lovely to share with guests!
Upper floors do get very warm when heating is on.I think because the thermostat is on the ground floor near the front door, that if set above around 20 it will keep burning when upstairs is already quite hot. But once realised, is easy to manually turn it off so no problem. I also couldn't get the extractor fan to work in the kitchen, or the ironing board to stand up. Not sure whether that was user error or not though.
Not a big deal but coffee machine would have been a nice touch!

Nice selection of toiletries left on the bed for us
Hosts were super quick and efficient to sort out a leak which occurred
Great location
Comfortable stay - extra pillows and Throws provided
Not overly clean - hairs all over the rug and bottle tops and wrappers under the sofa which was problematic with babies.
No clothes horse or anywhere to dry clothes even though there is a washing machine there
Artwork and ornaments left out were nice but not practical considering families use the property and you wouldn’t want to break anything.
Not pre warned/ made obvious there was only one parking space which meant paying £10 per day for additional space nearby
Hot and cold taps are wrong way round which caused confusion and made us unnecessarily turn on the heating
