Beautiful reconstruction in traditional rural farm village. The interior finish to the property was of very good quality maintaining the rustic feel of the original building and the environment. Plenty of space in the one bed apartment and everything you needed on hand. The swimming pool was a great addition and much needed as we had very hot weather for mid September and post hiking was very welcome. Sun over the pool til about 6pm! Located no more than 15 mins from Potes where all supplies are available. We were pleased we chose this option as Potes was fairly busy being a gateway town to the Picos and lots of coach trips come in esp during the festival periods.

Nothing - it was a gem. It was more expensive than similar options in the area but worth it for the peace, views over the Picos, and local walking trails out from the village. Car is essential. The local taverna was not open during our stay due to a local festival in Potes. This didn’t detract from our stay but could have been a further plus to an otherwise great week.

After a few weeks staying in busy towns, it was great to be able to hide away in the mountains for the last few days of our 3.5 week Spanish adventure.

We had a small delay getting the keys as we were unable to contact the host, but after an hour this was resolved.

Great location, very cosy appartment and pool area. Charming surroundings incl. the village of Tudes. Within driving distance from many nice areas, skilifts and supermarket

Restaurant could have had a better selection of food - very snack/kids orientated, rather than local cuisine

Excellent location in the middle of the little town (with bar across the street) , spectacular views from living room and sleeping room, very nice patio. The decoration of the apartment was really nice. Hosts were super nice, easy to get the keys and hand over when we left.

Great spot for a family break with teenagers. Although it felt peaceful and isolated the village was lively and access to the nearest town was easy. The hosts made our stay very comfortable and we appreciated the pool.

The location is amazing but it is remote. The only noise is the swallows singing and nesting on the porch. The property was beautiful, clean and really pretty. It's located in a tiny village with beautiful walks so either as a place to chill or a base for walks it was perfect. There is a pub next door which was the centre of the village and gave the place a realy buzz with both locals and tourists hanging out.

The food in the pub was a bit disappointing. We only ate there once. There are lots of lovely restaurants around within a 20 minute drive.

Tudes is a traditional peaceful village with a charming atmosphere, not far from Potes which can be overfull at this time of year so the tranquillity was very welcome. Our host was charming and pleasure to engage with. The apartment had fab views of the Picos range and was clean, functional and exceeded our expectations. As we were in a heatwave, the Pool was an added bonus as it was too hot to mountain walk, a first for our many years experience of this area. Definitely a place for us to visit again.

Tudes is a small village above Potes in the Picos. La Casa de las Chimeneas is a beautifully designed and well-equipped group of houses/ apartamentos there. It is quiet with magnificent views and lovely paths to walk on. There is even a pool.

Lucia rescued us from the bottom of the hill in our broken down vehicle. You couldn't wish to meet a more helpful host, she went well beyond what was necessary and even organised a garage to do the repair work for us. Brilliant.

Faultless, everything worked, the rooms were like works of art, the village was stunning, the walking and mountain biking incredible. Beat a path to her door before someone else does!

Breath-taking views! The townhouse was so beautifully restored in a kind of medieval-themed way. Very well decorated and comfortably furnished. The views out the window of the mountains and valley below were gorgeous. The pool is excellent, especially after a day's hiking. The tiny village is so cute. It was definitely one of the highlights of our trip. Definitely need to rent a car to access, but would need to rent a car to do anything in this area. Was nice to be away from the cities and totally relax.

The appartment and the community space was absolutely lovely, much better than we expected. We really enjoyed our stay and had everything we needed. From bathtowels to washing machine tabs, we had everything needed.

It is a little further away, but easily manageable by car.

Place was super comfy and really nice. Excellent sightviews to Picos de Europa. Well located in a small village. I’ll be back!

Lovely quiet village, just 10 min away from touristy Postes. The pool is nice to relax after a day of hiking/cycling/canyoning in the Picos. Very good info in the appartment in english for local walks. Very friendly staff

Superb. A great base to explore the area, or just enjoy the accomodation... amazing views, well kitted out apartment, beautiful location, we didn't want to go home! Good info on local walks, but equally easy to access other walks in region.
