About this condo rental
Mermaid's Retreat has everything you're looking for in a beach stay. It has the largest kitchen in St. Regis and most sq. ftg. Ocean views from both balconies. Ceramic tile and new laminate flooring throughout. The kitchen is well equipped with stainless steel appliances, ample counter space, breakfast bar, and an open eat-in area with a private balcony. Every room features blackout curtains to allow for a good night's sleep. The larger of the balconies has a high top table, 4 bar stools and 2 tall beach chairs. In addition to the 2 queens and 2 singles there are 2 rollaways, queen and single sleeper sofas. Commercial Maytag washer/dryer. 4 flat screen Roku TVs. There are board handed, puzzles and cards in both end tables. Other amenities to enjoy are an outdoor & indoor pool (under construction) weight room, sauna, hot tub (should be operational this fall), outdoor grills, business center, on-site restaurant and bar with Intracoastal and ocean views, pool restaurant, Aarr restaurant in Bldg. 1, game room/arcade, basketball courts, playground, private beach access with outside showers, foot washers, putting green, bocce ball court, mini pickle ball court, massage and an ice cream shop. Condo and location was perfect for us. Plenty of room for eight people and plenty of activities look for all ages. We found the Condo had everything we needed.
No negatives at all about the condo. But the cleaning of the pool really needed to be done more frequently. There was one day it was truly unusable and did not want our little kids there. Also a lot of the adults parked themselves in the little kid pool area with their drinks. One afternoon so many our kids had no room to get in with the steps.
I cannot recommend the Ocean Edge restaurant (I will not elaborate on that. Not enough space).
Really enjoyed the new Arrr Pirate bar and grill. Best potato tots ever had and of course the ice cream shop was an afternoon must.
Plan to definitely be back and already planning for another group trip there hopefully in same condo.
There are many other places to go and eat.

Our experience was awesome even though it rained we still made the best of it we're all together as a family had a great time and we thank you for the experience most of us for my daughter she lives around that area her husband's in the military.

Everything with the condo was very clean and description was accurate. Good feedback from property manager when questions arose. We had a great time with family.
Wifi was not the greatest, had a hard time watching movies at night.
The resort complex itself seemed like it could have been kept up better.

Online pictures made the condo seem much larger. It had most everything we needed (crib, high chair, a few toys…). We didn’t have any dishwasher soap and some of the bedroom lamps needed new light bulbs. My relatives stayed in 3 bedroom condos on the property as well with very updated interiors. All in all, we did enjoy ourselves and the property was very clean and everything was in good working order.

Nadine has been most responsive from booking to checking in and out. She always answers to make sure we have what we need.
Her condo is cozy, inviting with attention to details.
Beach front with 2 days of relaxation and lots of fun with groups of friends.

Renting process was excellent. Property Manager was excellent. Very responsive and attentive to our concerns about refrigerator cooling. Our original plan was for 7 adults and 2 children, however we only had 4 adults 1 child. The space would’ve been too cramped if we had all family present.

We enjoyed our stay in Topsail. This Condo was great, very clean and bigger than others we have stayed in. Kitchen was very equipped with all you need for a home away from home. We will be back. :)

The condo location was great, property grounds were beautiful, condo was fully stocked with all needs, decorated cute, and comfortable beds. The only downfall was cleanliness of mainly floors which we noticed easily because of children on thr floor and their feet being dirty from it. Nothing a pack of swiffers and some scrubbing couldn't handle which we did on day 2.

The property was very nice and very roomy - pool location and beach access fantastic, would definitely rent again. My only critique is the bathroom shower liners were dirty and should be changed between guests and there was not enough small pans (a lot of pots) but need new pans for cooking the ones there were old and not great for cooking breakfast with. Otherwise very good time there on our vacation.

Beds were great! Well equipped apartment. Just steps to the beach! Rent chairs and umbrellas from Grant prior to stay to be ready and up for your first day on the beach. We would stay again if in the area.

Great proximity to the beach and in warmer weather, the pool. This was a great stay for adults with a 4yo! Sounds do not travel in the solid construction which was so nice. The kitchen and living room furniture was comfy, we really enjoyed the balconies and sound of the ocean! Bring your slippers! The tile floor is pretty but we struggled with dirty feet. The queen mattresses weren’t the best, so would recommend an upgrade. Overall, a relaxing stay. Very welcoming, helpful and communicative owner :)

We enjoyed our stay at the St.Regis. We were welcomed with a beautiful note and bottle of wine from our hostess. She also had some necessities for our stay. The 3 bedroom condo. Provided us with a lot of room and space. I thought it was one of the nicest condos at the St.Regis. We were there for a wedding, so many family members were staying in different condos. The view of the ocean was very limited, but I would still book this place again knowing that.

We had a great time here. The condo was clean, comfortable and well appointed. The pool and poolside grill were so convenient, and the beach was so close and uncrowded.

Pool was a favorite of the children. Beach was very nice too & we took advantage of Grants Beach Rental umbrella & chairs service for the week.
Pots & pans are worn out is my only recommendation to better manage. We bought a couple to use for the week. Thanks so much Nadine for great family memories!!

Family vacay
The condo is beautifully decorated and everything we expected! Location to the beach was great but not much of an ocean view. Nadine, the owner, was wonderful and easy to communicate with. She responded immediately when we had an issue with the air conditioning. The resort had all the amenities we were looking for. The kids loved the game room and it was great to have the little grill at the pool. I would highly recommend Mermaids Retreat!

Perfect Accommodations!
The host was responsive to our questions and needs! We would love to come again. My parents stayed in the master. My wife and I stayed in the queen spare room. Two teenager kids stayed in the room with 2 twin beds. One teenager kid slept on the couch. Another teenager kid slept on a pull out cot. There was plenty of room for everyone! The place met all our needs. We had a wonderful week!!!
