This villa has everything for a comfortable and enjoyable holiday. It accommodates up to 8 people and it’s perfect for families with children or group of friends looking for a fantastic vacation home in Istria. Interior of the villa spread over 145 m2 involves 3 large bedrooms, each with en suite bathroom, open plan large living room with fully equipped kitchen and a dining area. There is one additional bathroom with a washing machine at the entrance. The beautifully decorated living room has a comfortable sofa, fireplace, satellite TV, DVD player and more. Kitchen is fully equipped with modern appliances. There is a microwave, dishwasher, large dining table, large fridge. The villa is fully air-conditioned and has free Wi-Fi internet access. Parking for two cars. From the living room, you are directly connected with a large shady terrace overlooking the pool and the olive grove. There is a big dining table outside, barbecue area and a lounge corner for enjoying dishes and drinks during hot summer days and nights. Area: Villa is in Galizana, just 9-11 min drive to Pula (6.8 km) and 7 min to Fazana (5 km). Pula is the largest city in Istria. Its most famous attraction, the well-preserved Roman amphitheatre called The Arena, is one of the most famous sights in the whole of Croatia. The most famous and important monument, built during the 1st century AD and completed under the reign of Emperor Vespasian, this amphitheatre is the sixth largest in the world (of those that still exist). The three-storey structure held 23,000 spectators in Roman times and today hosts numerous concerts and events throughout the year, including Pula Film Festival. Fažana is a small and picturesque old fishing town ideal for relaxation and recreation. It is also the port from where you can reach the Brijuni Islands National Park, the well-known Earth’s paradise. Families with children will find beautiful beaches and playgrounds, there are various sports facilities, numerous restaurants, ice cream shops and beautiful seaside promenade where everyone can enjoy sunsets and sea air. Traumhafte Unterkunft in einer sehr ruhigen Umgebung
Wir wurden sehr nett von Sam empfangen, er hat uns alles zum Haus erklärt und uns Tipps gegeben, wo man lecker essen gehen kann…bis zum nächsten Supermarkt sind es 5 km.das Haus liegt in einer ruhigen Umgebung, Entspannung pur, der Gärtner kommt freitags und mäht den rasen. Mittwoch wird der Pool gereinigt, da waren wir allerdings nicht da. Im Haus ist alles verfügbar, was gebraucht wird. Zum grillen war Kohle und grillanzünder vorhanden, also wir können nur schwärmen.

Schönes Haus mit tollem Pool
Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt in der Villa mit dem großen Pool und Garten sehr genossen. Alles war wie beschrieben, die Ausstattung hat keine Wünsche offen gelassen.
Besonders gut gefallen hat uns der Pool, der Garten und der schöne Blick über die Oleander in die Olivenbäume.
Das Haus liegt strategisch sehr gut für Ausflüge aller Art. Ein Auto ist allerdings erforderlich.
Der Kontakt mit unserem Vermieter Sam war sehr nett und angenehm. Wir haben uns auch über Getränke und Obst zur Begrüßung und ein nettes Abschiedsgeschenk sehr gefreut.

Wonderful and relaxing stay in Galizana
Everything was perfectly prepared prior to our arrival. Each room was clean and well-designed. The house is, due to a very committed owner, in best condition. Nothing is missing: the kitchen is fully equipped, the garden is well-kept, even some fresh fruits have been organized before we've arrived and some bottles of good croatian beer have been stored in the fridge. To sum it up: a wonderful and relaxing stay in Galizana with a very kind owner. Keep doing so, kind regards, Andreas

Die Vermieter Sam und Sanja sind einfach sehr freundliche Menschen. Sie sind sehr gastfreundlich, verständnisvoll und es liegt ihnen sehr daran, dass ihre Gäste eine schöne Zeit haben. Wir hatten hier eine wunderbare Woche verbracht. Vielen Dank für alles.

Super Ferienhaus
Wir waren mit vier Erwachsenen und einem Kleinkind von 2,5 Jahren in diesem schönen Ferienhaus. Das Haus sowie der Pool waren sehr sauber und gepflegt. Die Küche ist mit allem notwendigem ausgestattet. Es gibt ein Filterkaffee- und Nespresso-Maschine. Der Vermieter ist super nett, hilfsbereit und bei Fragen immer erreichbar. Nach einer Anfrage zu einem Hochstuhl haben sie uns einen besorgt und zur Verfügung gestellt. Zur Begrüßung standen ein Obstkorb auf dem Tisch und kalte Getränke im Kühlschrank. Einfach toll. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und Strände können in wenigen Minuten mit dem Auto erreicht werden. Die Strände in der näheren Umgebung sind gut für Kinder bzw. Kleinkinder geeignet. Wir hatten hier einen sehr schönen und entspannten Urlaub.

Everything was very clean and tidy, the hosts very welcoming and like so many Croatians very very guest friendly.
We’ve spent nice times in the big pool, on the Croatian beaches (closest is like 7 minutes by car) on the lounge-style terrace (roofed), playing table soccer or stayed on the beautiful island of Brijuni or the old town of Pula.
I could tell much more nice things, but I’ll keep it like that: Great stay on a great place, fully recommended for families or groups of adults as you just like. Feel free to ask any further questions!

Traumhaft schön!
Wir waren mit der Familie Ende August eine Woche in diesem wunderschönen Haus. Alle schönen Städte und Strände sind in wenigen Minuten mit dem Auto zu erreichen, die Lage gefiel uns sehr gut. Fahrräder standen uns auch zur Verfügung. Das Haus hat einen gepflegten großen Pool mit großem umzäunten Garten. Die Einrichtung des Hauses ist modern sehr gepflegt, goßzügig geschnitten (jedes Schlafzimmer hat ein eigenes Bad mit Dusche) und mit allem ausgestattet was man für einen schönen erholsamen Urlaub braucht. Der Vermieter hat uns herzlich empfangen und war zu jederzeit für uns erreichbar.
Hier ist der Urlauber König :-)

A quiet villa away from Covid madness
The property was beautifully clean (especially the pool) and well equipped. Sanja, Sam and Massimo were very helpful although we didn't need to contact them throughout our stay. I chose the villa for the good-sized pool, shaded lounging and eating areas and BBQ, none of them disappointed.
Galizana is really convenient for Pula airport (20 minutes max), major Supermarkets and a 15-minute drive to the coast and restaurants in Fazana. Wifi was excellent for all our devices. There are no restaurants within walking distance despite what Google maps will tell you, however the village has 2 coffee bars, a bakery, 2 useful small markets and a butcher all less than a mile stroll away.
The villa is off the main road so make sure you get instructions for the last few yards (on arrival) as sat nav will confuse you.

Lovely, comfortable villa with good amenities. Owner and manager very helpful. Location was a bit out of the way - not possible to walk to any restaurants. Also, quite noisy with dogs barking and cockerels crowing! But that’s not the fault of the owners obviously and goes with the countryside.

Perfect villa set in an excellent location.
What’s not to like? This clean, modern, holiday villa is only a 20 minute journey from Pula airport. Each large bedroom has its own en-suite plus a general family bathroom. It has a spacious general living /kitchen /dining area and 2 sizeable patio doors leading out onto a big, shaded veranda. The BBQ was easy to use and clean. The pool is perfect for family swim and playtime. If there’s one area of concern, and it is only one, it was the cleaning of the pool as it seemed to attract a lot of bugs overnight. However with a net we were able to clean it fairly well. Would thoroughly recommend this villa and it’s location is excellent being able to access Pula, Rovinj, Peroj, Bale Valle , Fazana and the tranquil national park island of Brijuni extremely easily.

Very smooth and pleasant holidays in a wonderful villa
I can fully recommend this villa for relaxing holidays in Istria.
This house is well equipped, well maintained, excellent located and offers a wonderful garden incl. swimming pool.
The owners and the property manager are very kind/helpful and they gave us a lot of hints regarding beaches, restaurants etc.

Lovely villa, fantastic for family holiday - would definitely do it all again
The villa was very comfortable - all mod cons included, 3 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms. The outside space was beautiful, lovely pool overlooking olive grove. The owner was very helpful and welcoming. Good area, local village shops or Fazana, pretty little harbour only 10 minutes drive. Also Rovinj -20 minutes drive- exceptionally beautiful and a must visit. Car would be essential to see the area.

Couldn't have been better
We have been traveling through Europe for about nine months now and have been in seven different houses. Villa Matteo was one of the best. The house was recently built, architecturally designed and is well maintained. The modern kitchen has all the utensils you will need and like the rest of the house it was super clean which is not always the case with rentals. The layout of the house was perfect for us and our grown kids and grandkids with three bedrooms each having their own ensuite bathrooms. The rest of the house is modern and comfortably furnished. Our grandkids loved the pool and our large Leonberger dog was safe in the large fenced yard. The view from the covered patio over looked the pool and yard onto a lovely vista of olive trees and was the perfect setting for our many BBQ's. The location was perfect for all of us, near great beaches, great little towns and convenient super markets.
Most importantly, our host Massimo, could not have been more gracious or hospitable, responding immediately to every request and question, and even delivering homemade olive oil and drinks that the family had made. We only wish our two week stay could have been longer.

The owners massimo and Eva could not do enough for us and on request before arrival got us milk bread and a few other groceries which they refused to take payment for !! During our stay they gifted us a bottle of olive oil and ouzo type drink which they themselves produce which was greatly appreciated by all . The villa was conveniently situated to airport which was approx 10 mins by car and at the foot of a beautiful small town called galziana easily reached by bikes provided by the owners . The coastal town of fanzana was only 5 min away by car in the other direction and provided some fantastic eating places , views and boat trips to the surrounding Islands . Overall our party had the perfect holiday meeting the needs of young and old alike . We would definently make this trip again some time in the future.

Urlaub in der Villa zu sechst (3 Pärchen, 30+ Jahre)
Die Villa ist absolut sehenswert, stilvoll eingereichte und man fühlt sich direkt sehr wohl, da auch der sehr nette Eigentümer mehr als "nur" die Villa zur Verfügung stellt, in dem wirklich alles vorhanden ist was man sich so vorstellen kann. Während der Vorbereitung unseres Urlaubs wurden allen Fragen und Auskünfte sehr schnell und ausführlich beantwortet, während unseres Urlaubs wurden uns sechs qualitativ sehr gute Mountainbikes zur Verfügung gestellt, ohne zusätzliche Kosten. Mit dieser Wohnung macht man nichts falsch.
Auch wenn mit dem Rad alles erreichbar ist, sollte jedoch ein Fahrzeug während des Aufenthaltes vorhanden sein oder angemietet werden.
Zusammenfassend kann ich (und alle meine Mitreisenden) die Villa sehr empfehlen.

das haus ist neu und wird erst seit wenigen monaten vermietet - alles in einem tollen zustand. die umgebung ist sehr ruhig. in galizana gibt es kleinen supermarkt und eine bar . nach vodjnan und fazana ist man auch schnell ,ebenso nach pula . auto ist natürlich erforderlich . grosses grundstück - auch für familien ideal . sehr netter hauseigentümer . dankeschön,und bis bald , M.
