Our family has had a vacation on the Pacific coast every year for the past 12 years (with the exception of Covid in 2020). Of all those vacations, this is the best vacation home we have used. It was perfect for what our family wanted, including the ease of beach access, perfect weather, the views from the home, the sleeping arrangements, etc. It was all wonderful. We absolutely loved staying at the home. Wish we didn't have to leave! The only issue, and it is a minor issue, is that the owners were a bit frugal with the amenities, such as cleaners, aluminum foil, plastic wrap, salt, etc. As I said, we loved our stay, and hopefully we will be able to return soon. Thank you!

10 of us stayed for a family getaway. The house was amazing. Kids had a great time exploring the beach and using the indoor pool. The house has amazing views from all rooms.

We loved our stay here. The pictures don’t do the home justice. It’s spacious and beautiful! There’s a big fenced in yard for the kids to run and play and the pool was incredible. We loved our stay and even saw a whale right outside the window. I’d highly recommend staying here!

My family of four along with four other family members stayed here for 3 nights and loved it. Friends of ours raves about it to us and we couldn’t agree more with them. The location along the water is beautiful and the house is spacious with a great layout for a group of our size. The host was fantastic and had everything we needed there for us. This house was dreamy! Located at the end of a long driveway, right on the ocean with a fenced in yard for little kids or dogs. The ocean and beach are footsteps away, there is an expansive deck for relaxing on warm days with views of passing otters, seals, porpoises and eagles! The separate pool house is awesome, the pool temp is 85 degrees and we all swam a couple times a day. We loved that the kids had their own living room and tv so the adults could relax in the great room. The beds are all kings with super comfortable tuft and needle mattresses, comfy pillows and really nice Nordstrom towels. We are owners of two vacation rentals in NH and VT and were impressed by the layout and comfort. It was the perfect home for our family to spend time together on Whidbey. Highly recommend and we can’t wait to come back.

We did not want to leave! The home is spacious, comfortable, and has everything you could need. Colin was a wonderful host, and our stay was idyllic. We loved watching seals swimming by as we sipped our morning coffee. Our three-year-old loved everything from splashing in the pool to walking on the beach; there's so much to do that no one could ever get bored. The house was even accommodating to our nine-month-old. We would love to come back and stay in the summer! Thanks for the lovely time!

Located at the bottom of a steep hill this private home on the beach was perfect for my large family gathering. House was well laid out had most of the things you needed possession park reserve just a few steps to the south of the beach property. Had a great time and would highly recommend.

The property is fabulous - private beach, great views, yard, fire pit, large driveway with basketball hoop, and a warm indoor pool. The house is very well stocked - lots of dishes and silverware, cookware, bakeware, towels, and games. There is plenty of space for everyone to spread out; both kids and adults were happy to spread out and give each other plenty of space.
Colin, the property manager, was very attentive and friendly. He answered our questions quickly even before we booked the house. A nice touch was him sending a quick message during our stay to check in to make sure everything was going well.
We are already planning on returning!

Beautiful private location! Loved the private pool for our family. Fenced in property for our four legged family member to run around and have fun. Beds were very comfortable. Close to the ferry and restaurants yet secluded. We'll be back

This house is a real treasure. The location is fantastic, right on the water and very private. The pool was wonderful for the kids (and adults). The house is spacious, comfortable, and lovely. Falling asleep each night to the sound of the ocean was like a dream. Will definitely be back!

Beautiful location
The house was in great shape, well maintained and very nicely furnished. Spectacular views. The pool was a lot of fun and kept the grandkids busy when the fog rolled in. We loved watching the ferries cross. The property owner was very responsive and helpful.

Spectacular Views
We really enjoyed staying in this home with spectacular views of the water, mountains, and wildlife. It is in a peaceful location away from everything but nature, yet just a short drive to grocery stores and surrounding towns with great restaurants. The house was clean and spacious with plenty of room for the 10 of us. The heated pool was clean and great fun for our kids who played continuous volleyball and basketball games. The firepit was perfect for making S'mores during chilly evenings. Colin was very responsive to the few questions that we had and all communication, including check-in was easy. I would not hesitate to book this property again.

Beautiful and quiet place
My family had a great vacation at this property. The house is spacious with a great layout, and the view is absolutely gorgeous. We enjoyed the pool and watching all the wildlife on the beach. Well recommended!

Perfect stay!
We spent a week on Whidbey Island over Spring Break. Two families with kids ranging in age from 18-6. The house was in excellent condition. Huge, well stocked kitchen which was perfect for our large group. The layout of the house was great for dedicated spaces for adults & kiddos. Beautiful yard with plenty of space to play & roam down the beach where we met several other friendly travelers & locals. Pool & sauna was an awesome bonus, especially since the weather was chilly this time of year. Colin was an excellent host!
Completely unrelated to the wonderful residence, for anyone planning to go back to the mainland, be flexible with plans as the Ferry wait can be unpredictably long. As first timers to this area we weren't sure what to expect. Check the WSDOT website for most up to date information the day of travel. If both Ferry's are running, it's a very quick shot across the bay.

Relaxing weekend
This is a fabulous place with lots of room - I'd like to come back with extended family since there are so many places to hang out both inside and outside. My daughter loved the pool - didn't want to walk on the beach because she only wanted to play in the pool. The pool is kept at 85 degrees which was cold for me but just right for my daughter/husband. I appreciated all the windows to look outside and see the eagles.

Calm and peaceful getaway
For my 69th birthday my 2 sisters , my daughter and her husband enjoyed the view and the pool. Plenty of towels and very roomy. Thanks for a great stay.

Can't beat the view right on the water. We saw dolphin swimming by every day of our stay. Bald eagle and heron sightings were frequent. Can't say enough about an indoor pool in Washington. My kids lived in the pool. Can't wait to book it again.

Fantastic vacation rental
This is our second time renting this house and yet again, we had a delightful time. The house is really nice, spacious, comfortable and well stocked. The view is beautiful. The location is great - being in Clinton with a big yard and right on the beach! The pool and sauna are such a wonderful treat - we swam every day. Colin is also an excellent host. We love visiting and can't wait to come back again!

Perfect House
Clean, comfy, stunning views and walkable beach for miles. Great open layout with kitchen, two living areas, kids room and guest room on main floor. Huge master bedroom and additional bedroom, laundry on second floor.
Light, bright and airy feel to the whole house. Plenty of space for 6 adults and 2 kids. Safe for toddlers although without toys for that age group, bring your own.
We loved the cedar sauna and wood burning fireplace. Comfy beds (our group included people who are picky about this). Chef’s kitchen was enjoyable for cooking with amazing views from multiple large windows.
Pool was chilly in the winter despite heating and keeping the cover on when not in use. The chill crept in from the cold ground and air. It was fun to swim for brief periods and then run to the sauna to warm up.
Thank you for a lovely stay. We would rent again in a heartbeat.

Beautiful sunrise walks on the beach
Such a beautiful beach location, we were able to walk to the ferry in one direction, and in both directions the beach was quiet and very private. A beautiful view from everywhere in the house. The beds were comfortable, the house was clean, and had everything we needed. The pool is detached from the house, a dark walk at night, so bring a flashlight if you plan to swim in the evening. The pool building itself is lighted and warm :)

Perfect Quick Getaway
My family and I had a fantastic time celebrating a birthday at this lovely home. Upon arrival, we were greeted with adorable birthday decorations, a stunning view, and a sparkling clean home. The location is excellent, nestled all on its' own, without a house in sight on either side (until you take a stroll on the beach), but just a few minutes from amenities in town. It was a blustery fall weekend, and we were entertained by the clouds rolling through as we enjoyed a fire outside and roasted smores. We hope to visit this quick and easy getaway spot many more times soon!

Beautiful stay
Three generations of our family stayed for a long weekend, and loved our time here. The children had a blast in the pool, and the adults enjoyed the relaxing views and comfortable living spaces. A very convenient location, close to the ferry and activities, including wineries and distilleries. A wonderful place. Thank you!

Good, but with some caveats.
First, the good: 1) iconic location right on the water watching the ferry traffic, 2) comfortable house layout for large family or multi-family gathering, 3) indoor pool is good for entertaining kids who love to swim, 4) responsive host and easy check-in/out procedures.
Now, the caveats: 1) heavy use of chemical fragrance, including plug-in fragrance diffusers and scented laundry detergent - this was a challenge, 2) could have been cleaner - particularly the mysterious oily residue present on some kitchen and bathroom surfaces, 3) property is starting to show some deferred maintenance: for example two electric wall heaters out of service, two recessed kitchen lights buzz/flicker, towels have that musty smell that builds up with a lot of wash cycles with too much soap, etc.). One personal nit: polyester sheets/pillowcases.
Overall still a reasonable option for a specific sort of gathering, but at this price point there are also other options to consider.

One of a kind property
What a wonderful place to stay and such a unique experience. We stayed with a group of friends and had 3 young children sharing the bunk room. It was a wonderful way to reconnect safely during the pandemic with friends we hadn't seen in a year. The indoor pool was the highlight and our kids had a great time practicing swimming. It's a sport pool, so was perfect for our needs and a little safer for the kids. We also enjoyed walking on the beach, watching the ferries, and taking advantage of the outdoors on Whidbey. Highly recommend the property and the owner was very responsive.

The house is well stocked with things you need for your stay, is comfy and WOW you cannot beat those views!! The beach is great if you love to get shells and pretty rocks! Nature is everywhere! We saw seals, porpoises, eagles, jumping fish, bunnies, deer, quail and even a snake! Oh and a pod of Orcas!!!
We had beautiful weather and a huge storm that knocked out the power on the last day.
The pool was fun! The grounds are perfect. There are plenty of fenced areas of you have dogs!

We had a fantastic time at Colin's house. The location - on a private beach with nature preserves on both sides - is the stuff PNW summer dreams are made of. We saw bald eagle, orca whales, deer, harbor seals and more right outside the window! And to have the pool and wonderfully spacious house with a generously stocked kitchen on top of that - amazing! Colin is a responsive and flexible host, allowing a late pet add to our reservation. I whole heartedly recommend staying here and am already booking for my family next year. Thanks Colin!

We stayed here with family including my elderly father with mobility issues. He managed pretty well around the house and property. There are just a couple stairs from the driveway to the front door. They stayed in the bedroom on the main floor which shares a bathroom with the kids' bunk room (not ideal but we made it work and encouraged the kids to use the bathroom upstairs). He was able to navigate the beautiful slab stone pathway to the pool house with a cane or large wheeled walker. The pool had steps at one end with a railing so he was able to get into and out of the pool easily. We were very thankful the pool was inside a structure because it was quite cloudy and cool for a few days, even though it was mid-July. We had a very nice time at the property watching all the wildlife! Bunnies in the yard morning and night, deer, chipmunks and a robin's nest outside the downstairs bedroom window! We played ladder ball and bocce ball in the large yard and a lot of basketball (HORSE) in the pool!
