This is truly a tranquil place! Awesome house, we always travel as 2 couples and this is the first place we've seen with 2 master king suites that are both ocean front. The pics and listing are truly spot on. Would definitely come back and recommend this property. Local food was great! Our favorite was the Jerk Chicken from the Golden Jerk. Lots of restaurants and bars to visit, cave exploring was fun and the diving is world class!

I can’t begin to say enough great things about Tide’s End. The location is ideal, close to everything you might need and anything you want to see. The house itself is amazing with an open floor plan, fabulous kitchen and don’t even get me started on the exterior! Lounging in hammocks under the cabana, hanging by the pool, walking the beach area or snorkeling off shore - if we didn’t want to explore the island we would have been content never leaving the house! Tides End is the perfect spot for a relaxing vacation!

Tide's End offered everything we were looking for in our weekend getaway.
The house is gorgeous with mature trees out front inviting you in to the gigantic living room / kitchen gathering place. The beds were so comfy and the towels were plentiful and plush.
Stepping out back is the real deal sealer. The pool, soaking tub, lounge chairs, grill, shade sails, hammock gazebo are almost unbelievable. There were several moments of 'Do we really deserve this?'
We enjoyed our time so much and hope to come back very soon! Shout out to Derwin!

The house is beautiful and well maintained. Julia is amazing at communication Derwin was awesome. The View and the sunsets were spectacular we spent a lot of our time in the pool and the jacuzzi and traveling around the island. Would love to come back again.

We had a wonderful 10 night stay at this home. The kitchen was incredibly well stocked, and the beds were very comfortable. The property has a beautiful view, and is definitely exactly what you are looking for if you want to get away from it all and just relax! Lovely property.

Peace - you've got it! Our family was able to escape the chaos of life and sip coffee in the hammocks each morning and relax in the pool.
Adventure - check! Kayak and snorkel gear provided for the personal beach that awaits.
Comfort - that too! We had all the comforts of home. The kitchen is well stocked, the beds are cozy, the wifi dependable, and house is luxurious.
The owners and manager went above and beyond to accommodate a great vacation. We hope to be back to the Brac soon!

This rental home on the Brac is a fantastic place to stay! Julia was a wonderful communicator and she went the extra mile for us when I mentioned we are scent-sensitive and she had the linens laundered in scent-free detergent.
The pool ended up being where we spent a ton of time because it was so stormy the ocean wasn’t very snorkel-friendly for several days. There were pool toys galore and we had a blast swimming and playing in the pool. Once the sun shade was replaced we were able to swim at even the hottest part of the day and not get burned.
The home and location are so very peaceful and even on the days we had downpours we enjoyed the sight and smell of the ocean. The Brac is such a special place for those seeking something a little off-the-beaten-path and this home is a wonderful place to stay.

Where to begin???
The pictures don’t do this beautiful place justice!
We wanted a place we could go to just relax for a week. Tides End and Cayman Brac provided just that!
The house and pool were pristinely clean when we arrived, the kitchen had everything you could possibly need to cook, down to a huge cabinet of spices! They even had an awesome Bluetooth speaker to use at the pool!
We spent a lot of time in the hammocks enjoying the sunset, walking on the rocky beach with water shoes, and playing board games. We used the kayak and were able to catch a lot of fish once we paddled to where the water gets deep. We also spent the day with Curtis fishing Little Cayman, a great time, and provided fish for dinner for a couple of days. The water out of the tap is filtered and taste great! Wi-Fi works great at the house and we had cell service all around the island.
Everyone on the island was so friendly and welcoming. The ship with the food and goods comes in on Thursdays, so the grocery stores have the most variety after they have time to stock the shelves. We found the Market Place grocery store to be our go to, and black beards liquor store.
Barracuda sushi night on Tuesday was awesome! Very good sushi! The Farm restaurant at Le Soleil d'Or was exceptional; a 5 star dinner, farm to table style, for a fancy night out.

Tides End was a perfect fit for my family for our Easter Staycation. The house is very spacious and was our home away from home and provided us with everything we needed. Our children enjoyed the pool, beach and hammocks. My husband and son had a great bonding time grilling up our meals. My son enjoyed taking photos of the amazing sunsets each evening.
We would recommend with out hesitation a stay at Tides End!

This was our third trip to Cayman Brac and the first time staying at Tide's End and what a treat it was. The pictures do not do the property justice. The interior is spacious and comfortable (bed and couch). There are multiple places to sit and relax outside to enjoy the amazing view. Sunsets here are just as good as at the end of the island. The pool is so nice to have on windy days when it's too rough to snorkel. We were already planning our next trip before we even left.
The Owners and their property manager are easy to contact and very helpful and responsive. Definitely a 5 star property!

Great house with a great location! If you are looking to sit back, relax and catch a beautiful sunset, this is the place for you. House was super clean and well kept! We enjoyed visiting the local restaurants along with using the grill to enjoy a meal at home. The house was stocked with everything we needed. Everything was absolutely perfect, start to finish. House is spotless, looks just like the pics in the listing, and is very well equipped. Cayman Brac was just what we were looking for to disconnect for the week and enjoy the week exploring the island, relaxing by the pool, kayaking, etc. We did take a trip to Little Cayman based on everyone’s recommendations and it did not disappoint! Staying at Tide’s End had to be close to living in paradise. We did not need or want for anything. It was the most perfect vacation my husband and I have ever had. Waking up every morning to the most beautiful scenery, meeting Max on his daily walks, and drinking my first coffee of the day while in a hammock soaking up the beautiful views. Pictures do not do Tide’s End justice. I can’t wait to come back!!!!

This property delivered on its every promise. It was a great property and well stocked with every appliance and gadget you'd need to cook to your hearts delight. My husband and I stayed here with my 2 sisters and their husbands for the week of August 13. To say that the home and location are absolutely perfect is NOT doing it justice. From the moment you walk in, you are greeted with a wall of windows that open up to vast ocean views - step outside the French doors and find a sparkling clean swimming pool, a "cold" tub, dining area for 6 and a delightful palapa with 2 comfy hammocks and a swinging chair. There is a kayak that we used several times a day, snorkeling equipment - and shorkeling right off of the shore is AMAZING - we saw gorgeous fish and a couple of Eagle Rays!
The house itself has 3 very comfortable bedrooms. The beds are again, perfect. And unlike many place we have stayed with nice beds - the PILLOWS are also perfect, soft yet supportive. The sheets on the beds are these pure white high thread count things that make you want to stay in bed all day. The ultimate in comfort. We loved them so much that I messaged Julia right as we were leaving to find out where we could buy that mattress!
The kitchen is COMPLETELY stocked with whatever you can imagine - truly, down to the last thing. Plenty of (nice) dishes, every cooking pan and utensil we needed - there is even a Ninja blender, which came in handy for our (multiple) frozen cocktails.
We recommend Tide's End without exception. Julia is the best VRBO communicator I have ever run across, her replies are typically less than 30 minutes, but more frequently less than 5. She was kind, gave us great tips on things to see and do. BOOK THIS PLACE - you will never regret it!

Tides End was absolutely beautiful and very private. Great layout! Very comfy beds . Especially loved the x-large towels, top quality bedding. and linens. The kitchen is well stocked and spacious! The house was perfect. The local residents were super friendly and kind. The snorkeling and diving was great but we were very disappointed with Public Beach. The highlight of our trip was hiring Captain Curtis to take us out to Point of Sand Beach on Little Cayman. I highly recommend spending the day with Curtis!

You could not ask for a better place to stay or a more responsive host. We are so glad we stayed here instead of a resort, but to be fair we are not really resort people. I struggled with choosing initially not understanding that there really are no beaches in Brac if you are looking for the sandy beach entry. This house makes the most of Brac’s iron shore by providing a kayak to get out over the rocks for swimming or snorkeling. The places that do have “beach” are not really what you are thinking anyway- we went out exploring to see. We came to Brac for the diving and it did not disappoint. The back of the house has a nice pool and incredible views. We woke early to see the sunrise and enjoyed the hammocks in the evenings for brilliant sunsets. This house has everything you could want for a perfect stay.

Amazing vacation
We visited Cayman Brac and stayed at Tides End over Memorial Day. We had to postpone our vacation because of the pandemic and it was worth the wait! The house was exactly as pictured. The views are amazing and the house was fully stocked with everything needed. Julia was so helpful from the time of booking to our arrival. Derwin, the property manager was also so helpful while we were there. We can’t wait for our next stay in the future!

This is a beautiful, spacious home with lovely amenities. The pool is great and the hammocks under the cabana with the sound of the sea made for wonderful relaxation. It was a good choice for us immediately following retirement.. We really enjoyed our stay!

The pool area is private and there were lots of rafts for floating around the pool. We even had a game of pool volley ball! The pool is discreetly kept clean 2-3 times a week. The shade kites are a nice touch for those looking for a break from the sun.
The view is mesmerizing but as noted on previous reviews, closed toe water shoes are a must for getting in and out of the Sea.
We visited the public beach a few times. Calling it a public beach is a bit of a stretch. The 3-4 times we were there we had the entire beach to ourselves. It's more like Tide's End's private beach 10 minutes away. Great for swimming.
The island is quiet. The people are so friendly. Pizza from Barracudas is a must as is Barbecue Friday night at Cayman Brac Resort.
Derwin's boat was out of commission but we found an alternative for fishing. Curtis Connor is a retired firefighter born and raised on the Brac all his life. Very knowledgable. Great guy. I left a few of his cards in the book.
The 4 mandated Covid tests over 2 weeks seems a bit excessive but the testing centre is only 10 minutes away and maybe took 30 minutes out of the day.
To summarize, Tidesend has everything required for a safe, relaxing Caribbean vacation which was our goal. Do NOT hesitate to book this property.

Beautiful Caribbean Getaway with Perfect Views!!
We had an incredible and relaxing time at Tides End! Julia was very communicative and knowledgable of the island, including up-to-date COVID requirements to travel there, stay there, and get back home safely. She also provided many great suggestions for things to see and do around the island...when we could pull ourselves off of that beautiful private beach! Julia was a fantastic host and Derwin was very friendly and helpful. The house and pool area are both well-kept and exactly as shown/described in the listing. We would advise to bring sturdy-bottomed sandals and closed-toe water shoes, as there were many rocks on the lower beach as well as many sea urchin as you wade a bit deeper into the water. Nothing you can't float (i.e. snorkel) or kayak over, but you'll be very happy that you brought them.
We had three picture-perfect weeks on the Brac at Tides End, with only one moderately rainy/overcast day. We can't thank Julia, Troy, and Derwin enough for an unforgettable vacation!

Tides End is a true gem. If you are looking for a spacious, clean and well-maintained place with all the necessary amenities (and more), this is the perfect place.
