DO NOT STAY HERE, FAKE REVIEWS.

We’ve been travelling south east Asia for 6 months and I have never seen worse. We have stayed in a variety of home stays / hostels. When booking a budget room you still expect cleanliness. I’m not sure who’s standard this is to but it’s atrocious. There’s a reason they make you pay in advance and non refundable .. because they know people will leave once they arrive. On arrival couldn’t even find the building and our driver was also confused as to its whereabouts as it resembled a shack on the outside. On arrival we were greeted and shown to our room which was vile. See pictures for details of the dirt of the floor which we were expected to walk on barefoot / use of dirty flip flops (no thanks). I was frightened to even look at the bathroom and realised it wasn’t only shared with other guests but also FAMILY members??! . This was so dirty I couldn’t use it. See pictures. We left immediately and got a different hotel of a completely different standard as we couldn’t stay the night here as well as the dirt the smell of dead animals / mould covered with air freshener. The man advised that we needed to go through booking.com and it was out of their hands, during this discussion it was amicable decision and no hostility. They advised we can request a refund or waver. We agreed that we would pay for one night but not the others due to us not actually staying at the property. Once we sent a waiver request he then declined it and advised the room was as described however dirty was not on the description. I messaged regarding this asking for the refund and when I advised I would be leaving a negative review so others don’t make the same mistake.. he then spammed me with messages ( see pictures). I will upload full conversation to google reviews as not enough space for all the screenshots! Rude comments such as I can’t read and saying I was a liar regarding the room.

Cheap place where you get what you pay for but nothing more.

The room was comfortable. Good bed and aircondition

The bathrooms was so dirty and small. Wet all over the floor all the time cause shower the same place as toilet. The room was small. The kitchen was dirty and you had to pay if you wanted to use the gas and cook food.

Great location with lots nearby !

Everything was wonderful! Jeffrey and Jessie were incredible hosts! They gave us tons of tips on where to eat and what to do. We were easily able to rent a scooter directly from them and it worked beautifully. The room was perfect, bed was comfy, AC worked really well and the kitchen was nice too. Highly recommend !

Worst experience ever and I stay a lot in hotels around the world

Nothing. I left after the first night and lost my money which I paid for second night.

One of the worst experiences ever made. The rooms look like a prison, stink, and the toilet and shower is even worse (only cold water, shared, and disgusting). The only thing that is even worse is the owner of that place who wants to scam wherever possible. I booked one double room for one person via booking.com. The guesthouse wanted to have additional 700 Pesos for the second person because my booking was only for one person. Considering that this is about as much as I paid for the entire room, this is just ridiculous. Additionally, I was able to show the owner multiple times that the price on booking.com was identical if one or two person would be booked for the room. The staff just said, if you don’t pay 700, we will charge 950 directly from the second person. Obviously, I just left this place. Lost my money but happy that I never need to deal with these people anymore

The sheets are clean, the bed is okay and the staff is friendly.

The room smells like a dead animal. They try to mask it with a perfume spray which wears off when you stay longer than one night. Also no proper bathroom with light and mirror. It's more like a backpacker place.

Awesome hosts, great location.

Our hosts were amazing. They had great energy and helped us with everything se needed - airport pick up and drop off, motorbike rental, and any information we needed about the island. The room and bed was comfortable with A/C which was nice on hot nights. Great location for General Luna. 5min walk from the main road with all the popular things on it. 5 min scooter ride from Cloud 9.

Great hosts & value for money - highly recommend!

The property was in a great location - right in the town and the walk was only 5 minutes. Multiple working showers and toilets as well as communal seating area. Free drinking water and coffee available all day. The room was spacey and clean. Hosts were so friendly, helpful and great to chat with. We also rented a moped from them which was really reasonably priced and they also helped arrange our transfer back to the airport. Highly recommend and would happily stay again!

Very helpful owners. Organized my van for me to the airport. The room is perfect and the area is quite but still only 10 minutes walk to main general luna.

A good value for a private room.

Friendly staff. Clean. Awesome AC. Relatively quiet area. Free drinking water. An easy walk to town center. I ordered breakfast which worked out well.
