We loved our experience here. The hanok was very warm and cosy, and the room had all the essentials. Harry, the host, was really kind and helpful. The location was superb on the fringes of town and walking distance to the key sites.

The accommodation was exactly the same as seen in the photo and was very clean. Our host was friendly and very helpful. Our 1 night stay was not enough for us, I definitely recommend you to stay 2 nights because the accommodation area and Gyeongju have a fascinating effect. Many respects and thanks to our host.

Our host at SiEunJae was wonderful and the facilities were super clean and very comfortable. I was traveling with my teenage son and he went out of his way to make us feel welcome and answer any questions we had (his English is quite good, my Korean not so much). The location is great, just outside of the very busy core area of Gyeongju but only a few minutes away from the action by foot. It’s quite close to the bus line to Namsan Natl Park, as well. Would highly recommend!!

We spent one night at the traditional Hanok, which we had never done before, and had a great time. We loved that there were only a few rooms, that made it feel very homey and intimate. I also thought the bathroom was very modern for the building. To us the highlight was our host, who was incredibly kind and helpful, telling us about the Cherry Blossom festival in Gyeongju, which happened to take place when we stayed. We also got to have a little breakfast at the veranda in front of our room while enjoying the quiet.

Absolutely nothing

SiEunJae is super well-located, easy walking distance from the city centre, Donggung and the tombs areas. The futon mattress was comfy, the bathroom well-kept, the complimentary breakfast yummy and filling and the staff really lovely! We loved our stay - if we come back to Gyeongju, we will defintely stay at SiEunJae again!

Everything, todo me gusto The owner was so, so kind he told us the highlights and recommend us the best place to eat Korean cuisine, the other host was a lady so kind and helpful, even helped tu take us a picture, beautiful people, the place its awesome tradicional I regret booked just one day, I,will be back for sure El dueño fue muy amable nos dio los lugares principales para sacar el mayor provecho de nuestro tiempo y nos recomendo el mejor lugar en el que comi en Corea (comida koreana) tambien habia una hermosa Señora que nos ayudaba super amable cuando nos ibamos nos ayudo a tomarbos una foto, ademas de ser hermosas personas, el lugar es tradicional y esta increible, lamento haber reservado solo 1 day, seguro regresare.

Everything it’s perfect, todo es perfecto

We had a wonderful stay! The hosts are such kind caring people. We really enjoyed chatting with them and appreciated the recommendations for things to do and local information. The futon bed was really comfortable. If anyone is concerned about it being too thin and not comfortable, I can assure you not to worry. We couldn't tell the difference from being on the floor to a bed, even when lay on your side, it's perfectly comfortable. The heated floor was lovely too in December. Breakfast was delicious, egg, fruit, croissant and cake. Tea and coffee was available all day every day for free too. The location is perfect for sightseeing, walking distance to most things and well situated for buses should you need.
