We really enjoyed this roomy house ( very comfortable beds) as it had everything we needed. The outdoor dock and kayak launch area was perfect as we are water rats! Every concern we had ( very few) was addressed promptly. The worst part of our stay was packing to go home!!!!

Incredibly clean! Owners thought of everything to make our stay seem like our own home. Really excellent that our pups could stay with us as well. Leaving a dog water bowl and dog beds for us was just the perfect touch to making us all feel so welcome. Thank you!

For years we have been renting homes in the lower keys for 4-6 weeks. This home was the best overall because the pool was actually warm like a bath and we could enjoy it all day without getting chilled. The house was perfectly supplied and I needed not to buy anything other than food and drink. (Instacart delivered) The owner Kathleen was fantastic. Prior to our arrival I questioned the fence details making sure our 2 dogs could not run out to the road or neigh or homes....the house she said was partially opened so prior to our arrival s

Beautiful view & sun sets
Beautiful view & sun sets
Kathleen was a very concerned and attentive host. She helped us and informed us before our stay with all the knowledge of the area. Just after our check in we had some additional requests and she was on top of it immediately. The house has plenty of rooms and beds for 10 people even though we did not have this many guests during our stay. The climate control system is new and works great. The kitchen amenities for knives silverware pans and all cooking essentials were very abundant and new. The mattresses and the sheets on the bed appeared to be very new & comfortable. The neighborhood had a mix of houses fixed up while others were still needing repair from the hurricane. Very quiet neighborhood which is a nice break from the Key West action. The drive to Key West can go as fast as 12 minutes with no traffic. We used the bus transportation with the stop at Baby's Coffee. The house is pet friendly however the fence doesn't surround the property in the front so bring provisions for your pet. The house is private with all the landscaping on the sides and you'll never see the neighbors from the yard. Generally speaking the house was sound and everything worked. It could use some TLC and with that would be a 5 star for people like myself how have stayed at many house rentals over the years. Maybe this is in the plans with the owner for this summer, something you could ask her. The best part of the place is the view from the kitchen / family room and back decks along with a host that truly cares about your stay and well being. We had a great time and weather in mid January to Mid February was delightful.

Our stay was beyond expectation on every level and we give the location and property manager a 20 out of 10! The website description is not accurate because it underestimates the beauty of the location and home and cannot begin to describe the quick responsiveness of the property manager. We stayed at 70 Bay Drive for three months and were awed at every turn by how much care and involvement the property manager had. The pool heater wasn’t warm enough, and it was fixed within 24 hours. The AC wasn’t quite cool enough, and a completely new unit was installed within 36 hours. We requested a two-person kayak, and it was delivered immediately. Whatever needs we had, Kathleen was immediately responsive. She lives a few minutes away and takes great care and pride in her rental property. We consider her a dear friend now and are thankful for all that she selflessly did for us. The property is brand new and we were the second tenants. The entire home is pristine and every detail has been thought of – even down to the organic sheets, cleaning supplies, propane for the grill and a fully equipped kitchen. The house has 5 very large bedrooms, each well-appointed with new furniture, carpet, blackout curtains, and bedding. The views are absolutely stunning and underestimated in the pictures. We were enveloped in nature, fishing on the dock, learning about all sorts of birds and iguanas we saw, and blessed with incredible sunsets every night. The backyard is a beach on which our kids spent countless hours building sand castles. The pool is just the right size for our family and always warm and clean. We were most surprised by the neighborhood because it was small and intimate. There are only 100 houses on the road and just a few more on the key. We spent countless hours at the playground, tennis and basketball courts which were a few minutes walk from the house. Overall, we couldn’t recommend this location and the property manager more! We hope to return for many more years to come.
