Das Personal war sehr nett.
Das Zimmer war riesig & die angebotenen Aktivitäten waren sehr gut.
Das Essen hätte besser sein können, wenig ohne Fleisch und nicht sehr abwechslungsreich.

Staff and service was fantastic
Sunset on the top deck was special.
Food very ordinary.
Can’t comment on Madeline as we were transferred onto their sister cruise Le Theatre. From reading reviews this happens frequently.
I found Le Theatre disappointing as felt very tired. We were upgraded to the Panorama suite which we appreciated but it just wasn’t as special as we anticipated. The blinds didn’t work, the windows weren’t clear and it was incredibly hot as it got all the sun (even with the air con). It was in need of a reno.

We were transfered to their sister cruise Le Theatre, appearantly this happens quite often since Madeline does not always have enough passengers to sail which was no issues for us at all since Le Theatre was amazing!
They were kind enough to offer us a free upgrade since we couldn't stay with Madeline, nothing too fancy though but the room was spacious and we had everything we need for a comfortable stay.
Food was too amazing but it was the staff that made it a memorable experience for us.
If you have the opportunity please don't hesitate to cruise with them, I'm sure if we had gone on Madeline it was be equally incredible being managed by the same team.
100% recommend!
Don't expect well working Wifi

Madeline cruises did not have enough bookings, which is why we ended up on the cruise called „Du Theatre“ - it was fantastic! The staff was excellent and let us get off the cruise earlier, given that our next destination was Cat ba

Ha Long Bay is absolutely worth seeing. It's one of seven natural world wonders and the spot is well earned. The cruise was very comfortable, and the manager Tom was very accomodating. The food was excellent, accomodation cosy and views breathtaking. Highly recommended cruise!

The food was good and the service was excellent. The room was very comfortable and relaxing.
The price of drinks were high and we sailed to the same both days. Returning to the same location made it where you really didn't sail through much of the bay. The excursions were not up to par. They just shouldn't do that and let people relax on the boat.

The views are amazing. There were a lot of crew members and the experience was very personalized. Our guide Sam was super friendly and professional, spoke good English and made our stay very pleasant. Thanks!
as the Madeline cruise wasn’t sailing that day we got a message a week before that we will be on another cruise - Le Theatre Cruise

The cruise was a brilliant experience - Halong Bay is a UNESCO world heritage site well worth seeing.
The team on board, in particular Peter, were great. They were really hospitable and very polite. We spent our second day with Peter and had a brilliant excursion.
The food was very delicious and the drinks were good, but very expensive so watch out for the bill at the end!
We booked the Madeline Cruise and were put on La Theatre - where we found the quality of the room was worn (floor boards scuffed/missing, the door to the balcony was broken etc). We were told a 6* cruise was opening soon (Madeline), but La Theatre was 5*. However, most disappointing was that after our stay we were asked to not leave a negative review online via WhatsApp. This left a really bad taste in our mouth about the experience which was a shame as we did have a lovely time - we just felt the boat would have been better quality if we had been able to go on the Madeline ship.
Another thing to note is that there is a lot of rubbish around the bay and this is not acknowledged by anyone - hopefully one day it will be cleaned.

My partner and I could not have enjoyed our stay in Ha Long Bay more! We actually stayed with Madeline's sister cruise line Le Theatre (was transferred over at a later date, which is why I'm leaving a review for Madeline). The cruise ship was clean and spacious, food options were plentiful, and the itinerary never left room to be bored (while also giving you ample time to relax). The stars of the show were the manager Tom, who went above and beyond to make everyone's stay very comfortable. He called everyone aboard by their first name, which was impressive. Sam, who seemed to be our assigned butler so to speak, was also top notch. He was so friendly, polite, and hospitable. I would highly recommend staying with them!

The views ad the food were amazing. In general, it was a great experience and we would recommend it to our friends.
The waiter was trying very hard to fulfil our needs, bless him, he is a great guy. The only thing was that it was too interruptive as he was checking on us every 5 minutes.
We felt that the schedule on the whole trip was a bit busy with entertainment planned around the meals etc. if we were attending all, we would have no relaxing time at all.

i think that this cruise is just a 3rd party company that works for another cruise Le Theatre, which is really good and way more cheaper when you book this cruise vs le theatre. Don t make the expectation that you will get to this cruise because most of their customers are being passed to le theatre. It was a really good cruise in the end.

Madeline switched us to a different ship and the facilities even though good were not as advertised for the Madeline.
the room assigned to us what’s a standard room, I had initially reserved a suite.

booked Madeline but was transferred to Le Theatre but not complaining as it’s a more premium cruise. The food was great especially the seafood dinner. the rooms were great as well as they are spacious, comfortable & have great views of the ocean.
lack of activities at night. may be great to have some form of entertainment at night

Le Theatre was a beautiful cruise. The location was superb.
The rooms were tastefully decorated. The staff were wonderfully hospitable. Tom was a manager who was personable, helpful and warm. Peter was an absolute gem of a person- nothing was to much trouble. He became like a family member instantaneously. He couldn't do more to assist. He changed a meal plan because of dietary requirements.
It was a packed itinerary with lots of activities and yet we still relaxed aboard the Le Theatre.
We will definitely recommend a 2 day 3 night stay to maximize the experience

Super nice and welcoming staff.
Our trip was cancelled and we were shiftee to Theatre cruise but this I expected before after reading many references. That was okei for us.
All iclusive does not include any alcoholic bewerage and is pretty expensive on boat.
Cruize actually is not cruize as we drived some 2 hours, stoped for many hours and went back in morning. I chooced cruize to see more then om day trips but at the end you see the same as standing parked all the time.
The biggest dissapointment was dirty everywhere - lipstick on cup, dirty in bath and bathroom, about public wc even do not want to mentioned. I heard that other passangers were also complaining about this to manager, I supported them. We are traveling 6 weeks in Vietnam, this was the most dirty place. Of course - they dont have to clean it as there is conveier of tourists.

It’s was pure luxury. Our room was amazing. Huge comfy bed with two huge windows with amazing views. huge balcony off the back of the boat. Bathroom had a huge window with a free standing bath. The rest of the boat was so spacious. The boat had 24 guests and the dining room was the feel of the Titanic with windy stairs winding up on both sides from the centre of the room.
That we only stayed for 1 night.

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our trip with this company. From the booking overseen by Emily, the excellent service provided by the on board team headed by Tom to the return transfer to Hanoi - it all worked very well. The 2nd floor cabin with balcony was very comfortable (we got a free upgrade for our anniversary) with a huge bath tub overlooking the bay which was awesome.
I was under the impression that we would be doing a little more 'cruising' on the main boat itself but that wasn't the case. It dropped anchor along with all the other cruise ships in the same area about an hour from shore. I also hear excursions were then serviced by the smaller boat ferrying passengers about. The food on board was on the whole pretty good with some courses excellent. The service provided by everybody we came into contact with was excellent, especially the cruise manager Tom was amazing and he has so much passion for what he does. For what it's worth I can wholeheartedly recommend that you go.
The squid fishing session seemed rather rushed
